Cocoon SOHO CMB351 Messenger Bag - Black/Lime Green

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this bag because there were design elements that I appreciated in theory before even laying hands on one: magnetic closures for the front instead of noisy velcro, ballistics Cordura all around the bag, not just on the bottom, safety belt webbing for the strap, and the intriguing grid-it system. My other motivation for grabbing it was I wanted a bag that had a somewhat nondescript exterior, no obvious bells and whistles, something that didn't scream "steal this bag!"

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size of the bagI had read the 13" version was definitely not too large, which I wanted, but I didn't want it to be too small, and it is just about right for my purposes, which was to get a bag that could safely transport my iPad and the stuff I carry with me every day. I am able to get my stuff in the bag, but one thing I don't like about the magnetic latch system is if you overload this bag at all, the magnets don't latch. so the whole bag is fairly insecure at that point. It could really use a couple of straps and buckles to ensure proper closure.

Overall, this is a great bag with nice features, but one problem that makes it hard for me to unconditionally endorse.

I got this as an alternative to a computer backpack I seem to carry the world in. It's perfect for an iPad or small laptop. The zippered mesh container will hold chargers for the iPad, iPhone, and my MiFi. The GridIt is really cool and very useful. I used to use a few ziplock bags and this is a much better solution. It's definitely not a carryall, but I bought it because it wasn't!

A few weeks later, I'm still loving the bag. I've also gotten a 13" MacBook Air which fits in it easily. The only thing I can think of which would make it better is a handle. It'd be nice but it's definitely not necessary. Still strongly recommended.

I thought, wrongly, that the messenger bag would be a little smaller, my fault, the dimensions are posted. I had wanted to use instead of a purse but a little big for that. Also, strap falls off shoulder, not so easy to cart around. Well made and is exactly as described.

I originally bought one of these bags because I liked the storage space and the organization that it provided, with multiple pockets and dividers, including a padded section that was perfect for my camera.

However, I was soon disappointed when one of the handles split off along a seam! I see that another customer has posted pictures showing that the exact same thing happened to that bag, too. I was able to re-attach my handle with rivets, but now about a year later the handle is tearing off not only around the rivets but also from the clasps in the front. Furthermore, the middle of the handles are beginning to split along the sides, the magnetic closure on the back pocket is tearing off, and the main zipper is malfunctioning.

When I pay around $50 for a bag, I expect it to last many years, not fall apart after about one! I was very disappointed with this purchase, and heartily DO NOT recommend it!

I purchased this tote as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She needs it for work. She loves the compartments and the fact that it holds so much more than her laptop. It's a great looking accessory.

Timbuk2 Women's Skylark Tote

I bought this for a long overseas flight it fit the maximum under seat storage limits for British Airways. The back pack straps came in handy a few times, as did the yoga mat zipper pocket thingy. Overall though, I found it too tall (or the straps too short or my arm too fat) to have it full and be able to sling the straps over my shoulder and use it as a shoulder bag.

Love the bag. Nice & big. Roomy inside. Comfortable to wear in both modes. Only wish they'd attached a long shoulder strap as well. Cleans easily. Love it.

Seriously. Who would have thought I would be this excited about a backpack? But this this is amazing. It distributes weight evenly and perfectly, so that I can walk the streets of London, cobblestone and all, and be just fine. Lined pouches for sunglasses are nice. The separate places for tablets and LTs is great. I have a large, full-frame camera and 400mm lens and I use the main compartment for them and carry my tablet in the other compartment. NO issues and it's over 10kg in weight. LOVE IT.

Dakine Girls Split Roller Small

I travel a lot, and have done for many years. Our family lives in Europe, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has tried to fit more than one suitcase in the trunk of a European sized car and failed miserably. So we tried standard duffel bags ok, but unless you're using travel organizers your stuff arrives in a big, tangled heap. So 5 years ago I bought the small Dakine split roller, and I will never buy anything else again.

The internal organizer compartments are perfectly sized, so when you open the bag up you can access everything easily, and it all stays in place while you travel. I usually travel for at least 2-4 weeks at a time, and space is not a problem. Because the bottom is a hard shell I will usually stick in a bottle of good California wine, and nothing has broken yet. To top it off, the design is so eye catching I will never ever again lose sight of my bag at baggage claim! The quality is phenomenal, after 5 years of baggage handling there isn't so much as a scratch on this thing.

Oh, and those pesky European cars? We can fit 3 of these in the back of one now!

I bought this bag (the large size) in anticipation for a 10 day trip traveling through 4 different towns in France. My friend has several pieces of similar luggage and raves about them so I thought it was a good investment.

I love the bag. It is aesthetically pleasing, easy to keep organized on a long trip, and quite durable. My only complaint would be that it is so big that it is really easy to overpack... and get slammed with overweight baggage fees. I easily fit 75 lbs in mine. Despite being so heavy, it maneuvered well and the extra handles were great for lifting it up.

I would highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for an all around great suitcasebut remember to weigh your bag before you fly!

I love this suitcase, the inside features a large compartment with a removable interior and mesh covering. The other side has three compartments also with mesh covering. The outside of the bag has an additional two compartments. Finally I can fit everything I need into one bag with room for more, and I don't have to worry about everything getting tangled up. I love the style of the suitcase as well, and it seems to be well constructed. However the zipper did start to separate at the top of the bag after only one use, although it is easy to fix it makes me slightly apprehensive about how the rest of the bag will hold up to wear and tear. Only other compliant is that the suitcase smelled absolutely terrible when it arrived. It took several times cleaning it with fabric cleanser and using fabric freshener to get the smell out.

Gregory Maya 22 Daypack

Most daypacks are not very good for mountain biking; they are too heavy, too stiff, too padded, or too wide, with straps and hipbelts are that are heavier than necessary. They might feel OK if you're standing up hiking but when you're leaning over the handlebars for hours they chafe and hurt your back. But not the Maya 22! It's wonderfully light and flexible with thin, soft straps. It's plenty big enough for a day on the trail and will accomodate a 70 oz hydration reservoir. It has a bunch of other nice features too like the zip pockets on the waist belt and the back unzips on the side so you can refill the hydration reservoir easily. The girl specific ergonomics are excellent. Combine this with the Osprey Hyraform 70 oz reservoir and you have a great set-up. The Osprey reservoir is nicer than most others because it conforms better to your back rather than "barreling". Again, no big deal when hiking but not comfortable when leaning over a bike. Between the two they are far superior to Camelbacks which I've always found uncomfortable.

I've had this backpack about a year and enjoy the weight, shape and color. I am 5'8" and 112 pounds, not much upper body strength, so I avoid packs whenever I can. But this one has been fine for 8-10 mile hikes carrying water, lunch and extra layers. There are small pouches along the side that make it convenient to reach Kleenex, sunblock or a compass. The pouches sometimes get in the way if I'm hiking fast, but I've learned to work around that. Altogether, a fine backpack for small-framed women.

Just got the luggage today -it came in a timely fashion and nothing is damaged. Arrive in a completely acceptable condition. The whole thing just feels cheap though. KF Baby Diaper Bag Insert Organizer, Black

I was a bit concerned when I got this in the mail (looked a bit bigger than what I had pictured) but it was perfect for my diaper bag (jeep brand). The compartments are just the right size to stand up any medications, toys, diapers, wipes, snacks anything you might put in your bag...plus I still have room on the side to put extra cloths! And now my husband can also find everything without leaving a disaster behind!!!

I ordered this organizer so I could easily slip this in and out of a large purse and leave this behind at daycare. I am tired of continually carrying two bags, one for myself and one for my child. Based on other reviews, the material is a little better quality than I expected. Looks like it will be easy to clean. However, this organizer is MUCH larger than I anticipated. My current purse/bag narrows at the top, so I'll need to purchase another bag so this works. It fits, but doesn not slip in and out easily. So, while this organizer will serve it's purpose, it is not working out like I imagined because of its size. Also, It has many more pockets on the outsided that are difficult to see in the picture, which is a plus for me. More pockets=better.

I would purchase this again.

This would be great if you only wanted to put bottles or things of that size in it. But if you want to put little toys, pacifiers, etc in it, they would just get lost somewhere in the bottom. Then dividers aren't sewn into, or connected to the bottom in any way. So small items just get lost in the bottom, and not stay in its own little pouch.

Vertical Backpack Color: Chocolate

I travel on business about 75%, that means lugging a laptop case around with me through airports. Sometimes I'm tethered to my laptop case for a very long time at the airport. I always used a messenger bag thrown over my shoulder. It looked more professional than backpacks. My chronic back pain became so severe that I couldn't carry a bag on my shoulder anymore. Reluctantly, I decided it was time to breakdown and get a backpack. Because I give presentations, I wanted something that didnt look like I was on my way to class, I wanted something professional.

This piel verticle backpack fit the bill very well. Not only do I not look unprofessional at a client site, I've actually received compliments on the backpack. Once I put the backpack on though, I no longer cared about appearance. This thing is so much more comfortable, I dont know why I waited so long to buy it. It has made a huge improvement the amount of pain and strain I suffer while traveling.

I'm also impressed with the organization of the bag. It has plenty of pockets. Theres a small pocket on the strap, a pocket on each side, a large one on both the front and back as well as pockets in the bag. There is plenty of room for a laptop, cable, folders and even a few books

The leather is soft and elegant looking. It does not look cheap at all (which was one of my concerns). I only have a few small (very small) gripes. One is that the buckles on the front do not open and close as smoothly as I woudld like. Maybe it needs more time to get worn in. Also straps on the front buckles are a little too long. They tend to curl up. There are both very minor issues. I have no regrets buying this bag.

Overall, this is a nice laptop sleeve. My new dell inspiron fits very nicely in it with a little breathing room, and the pocket is very handy for transporting my charger. Two things to take note of: the inside is not soft, but is just plain neoprene, and the mousepad that comes with it is a joke. It's pretty much just a large square of rough felt. I'm a bit disappointed in the false advertising, because the picture on amazon shows a mouse with the sleeve and not a mousepad. Anyways, I know I'll be enjoying this sleeve and it's a good price.
