Ogio Bandit Backpack

I ordered this pack to replace another ogio pack. The quality of the pack is not what I have an issue with. It is the design of the pack.

Cons:

internal organizer seems to be setup more for a macbook

side pockets are oddly shaped

the padded laptop sleeve is tight with my lenovo 15.6. It fits but the zipper rubs the corners.

The quick access shoulder pocket is to small to hold anything larger than an iphone.

The stitching quality is much poorer then my previous pack.

The way that the interior of the pack is layed leaves much to be desired. it kills most of the usable 1700 claimed cubic inches of cargo space.

the front padded valuable pocket is poorly designed leaving very little space to put anything. a pair of sunglasses is tight.

unable to fit more then a couple of notebooks after getting my laptop and cords stuffed in there

it has 2 straps

it holds my laptop securely

In the end I picked the pack up while it was on sale. I am not happy with this purchase.

I bought this pack for college use. It holds all my textbooks and my laptop. I wouldn't recommend it for 17 inch laptops, because of the way the backpack is designed. I'm sure if you measured from the bottom of the pack to the top it would be over 17 inches, but the top zipper is rounded and it sure isn't 17 inches at both edges, so I would guess that the corner of your computer would block the zipper. The bottom of the laptop compartment feels a little thin on padding, but if you have book in setting your pack down won't hurt your laptop. If you're worried about this, I'd recommend sticking some foam in the bottom of the compartment. I actually carry my laptop in my backpack inside a sleeve, so this isn't an issue.

I haven't had it for a really long to test it out, but it seems to be really well made. I've heard the the zippers are the first thing to go, and they don't seem flimsy or weak at all, so I think this pack will last a long time. However the end of the straps where they hang down had little threads hanging off from where they fold the ends up twice and sew them so they won't unravel.. i kept picking at the threads and managed to pick out the stitching, so I rolled up the excess strap and secured it with tape and will resew it when I get the chance. I didn't have to undo any knots or anything. Just tugging on the threads was enough to completely take out that sewing. However rest assured the sewing on the rest of the pack has remained strong and true and doesn't have any hanging threads. :)

Loading the pack with four textbooks + my laptop makes it super heavy, but it's designed well and if you wear it right so that the bottom of the pack hits your lower back, it's not uncomfortable and doesn't cause back strain.

The zippered pocket on the front really is handy for carrying stuff, as are all the other little pockets on the outside. The only thing I don't really like is that the two bottom pockets on each side are where you'd normally find pockets to hold a water bottle or umbrella or something like that.. They're zippered, and shaped so that if you unzipper them halfway they're great for carrying these items, but if you jiggle a lot the zippers sometimes unzipper more, making it potentially possible for your water bottle/umbrella to fall out. :o I wish these pockets were elastic or drawstring fastened rather than zippers, but that's probably my only complaint with this pack.

I've owned this bag for about a year and have taken it everywhere. I have no complaints at all. It has endured road debris while I've got it equipped when riding, it has seen spills in a couple of different compartments, and its seen a variety of weather. Ogio makes outstanding products... I tried this bag because I loved the golf bag I got from them. I've also gotten bags for work and loved them. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given :)

Incase Compact Backpack, Black (CL55302)

I was at first a bit skeptical of this backpack but after reading the other reviews on amazon I decided to buy it. I will never regret it. I'm currently a University student and this backpack has everything I need. It fits three textbooks, a few spirals, an iPad and a MacBook Pro with ease. One of my favorite things about this is how well it sits on my shoulders. I walk around all day with it on my back and at times it feels like it is not even there.

The only complaint I can think of is the nylon adjustable straps. They come loose far to easily, but with a few safety pins I was able to prevent them from sliding down at all.

I love this backpack. The laptop pocket fits my 13 inch MacBook Pro perfectly, and has enough room for my textbooks/notebooks/folders. There is also an iPad sleeve/pocket. There are a few pockets on the inside of the backpack as well for USB cords, charger(s), and wireless mouse. I usually only carry the charger though, so I use the pockets for post-its, mini-stapler, etc. The thing I like the most about this backpack (next to its clean design) is the amount of padding. The bottom of the backpack is very well-padded, as well as the sides and the back. I know that even if I were to toss my backpack down, my laptop is protected... The inside laptop pocket is lined with plush faux-fur, for even more protection.

I had a JanSport backpack for years, and what I hated the most was its lack of padding to keep the backpack sturdy/standing. The backpack would sag, and to better describe it, it was more of a zippered sack to hold the contents together. The Incase Compact Backpack is a winner, esp. for students like myself. The only negative thing to this backpack is that the nylon adjustable straps do come loose easily. This is NOT to say that the strap itself will undo itself and you will have to re-insert the strap into the plastic thingamajig(?) to keep it together... Let's just say it's a bit too easy to adjust the straps. It hasn't bothered me too much though, because I'm small, and I keep the straps to its max shortest length anyhow. I've been a fan of Incase products since their first making of very first iPhone case, and yes, they're not cheap, but for what you get (style, quality, design), it's worth it... Even more so on Amazon where you can find many products for cheaper than at retail cost!

I have a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display packed inside a Thule cover. It fits in the bag's laptop slot like a glove just perfect. There is also a slot for my iPad and room to spare for other accessories. The compact form is also a plus on my crowded commute on the bus.

I bought this after owning a few different Incase backpacks / slings

I was hoping for something similar to my sling backpack. As a backpack, it fit well while being carried. I'm a bigger person, so the sling pack doesn't fit me well unless warn like a single strap backpack. I thought this bag would be a perfect blend.

Internal storage is lacking. My sling pack has 4 mesh pockets. Good for portable hard drive, traveling access point, and power supply. This pack didn't have enough pockets. It barely had any for carrying more than the laptop and pens. No real pocket to even hold the power supply.

Overall, the quality is good. If you don't have to carry much with it, it's fine. If you have any cables, accessories, etc., you may want to look elsewhere. One of the reviews mentioned 3 textbooks and the laptop. I'm not sure that is possible, and likely not a review for this case.

Military Inspired Canvas Messenger Shoulder Bag Laptop Case Bookbag Olive Drab

The backpack is exactly what I expected, except for the color. On my computer, it looked like a light shade of olive. It isn't. It's a much darker green. So watch out for that. If you want it EXACTLY that kind of green, don't buy this.

If you're less particular, the design of this is great! I use this for school and couldn't be happier about it. It can hold my 21 pocket accordion folder and a pretty thick text book with an inch or so to spare if you want to cram it to the brim. The pockets are good for holding pens or a bottle of water or whatever. And it's so durable I can't imagine it wearing out within two years or sooner.

Look no further for the ultimate, simple backpack choice!

So I love this bag, it is really unique and wonderfully crafted. I am so glad I bought it, my problem isn't with the bag.

HOWEVER, the pictures provided are very misleading the bag is a completely different color. I went back after I got the bag and looked at the page again and it does say olive green in one place on the page, but not one of the pictures showed the color. If I were the seller I would have either A) gotten accurate pictures or B) made the color of the bag more obvious on the page itself. The bag is a very very dark olive green, and it turns out that I like it a lot but that might not have been the case. Its just a sign of laziness or sloppiness that isn't really up to par with Amazons' standards.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this bag as I carry it around school. The major problem is the durability of the bag. The outside fabric is really nice, but I'm having troubles with the straps. The stitching came undone on the bottom of the backpack strap, which has been a big problem. If I'm not careful, the straps will come loose and then I no longer have a strap. I also can't wear the book bag on one arm because it can't take the pressure. The inside material is really scratchy and loud which has been okay but not preferable. And the zipper on the inside pocket has already broken too.

All of the problems are minor problems, but they add up to be fairly annoying. Hopefully I should still be able to use the bag for the rest of the school year.

I bought this for a long overseas flight it fit the maximum under seat storage limits for British Airways. The back pack straps came in handy a few times, as did the yoga mat zipper pocket thingy. Overall though, I found it too tall (or the straps too short or my arm too fat) to have it full and be able to sling the straps over my shoulder and use it as a shoulder bag.

Love the bag. Nice & big. Roomy inside. Comfortable to wear in both modes. Only wish they'd attached a long shoulder strap as well. Cleans easily. Love it.

Dakine Explorer Pack

I just finished my freshman year in high school and went through two backpacks, on was an expensive Jansport (which the stap ripped) that I spent over 65 bucks on! Then I had a 40 dollar Swiss Army backpack which one of the zippers broke. But this backpack is great! It's a good size, I can fit my books, binders, and everything else in it. And it's not too big that it looks stupid. I love the skateboard carrying straps because I am an active skateboarder. Plus, it looks great, I got the blue stencil and I've gotten many complements! I purchased this bag thinking it would be strong and tough, I was wrong. In less than a month the shoulder strap broke off, cheap plastic. The bag ripped right in the middle next to the zipper, terrible stitching. If by any chance the bag ripes, the hole will just continue to run, cheap nylon.

I only had boxing gear and some extra clothes in the bag and all these things went wrong with it.

I don't recommend this bag to anyone, it's just a waste of money. I can't imagine what would happen to the bag if I actually wanted to carry big heavy things in it.

I bought this bag for my Kick boxing gear. At the beginning I thought it was a little to big, but after filling it up with gear I soon realized it was rightly sized.

I store my shin guards (XL size), 16oz gloves, MMA gloves, wraps, water, mouth piece, spare tshirt. Sometime I take my GI as well and fits right in.

Good quality and look. If I had to pick on something, it would be on the oversized zipper. It looks a little childish, but I get its more functional.

I would say, buy it. The price is also REALLY good compared to other bags.

I bought this bag on Amazon as I train boxing and BJJ 3-4x a week and wanted one bag to carry all the gear required for multiple martial arts from home to car to gym and back. To be honest I was not expecting too much given the price, but I was very surprised when I opened the box at my door. This gear bag over delivers for $30 in my opinion. The first thing you notice is the beefy main compartment zipper. It is oversized big plastic job with a great Title MMA logo pull on it. It is a great feature along with the nice sized mesh pocket on each side. Perfect for storing your keys, watch, phone, etc. while you are training and then great for sweaty wraps and t-shirt after. The large interior space is big enough to hold my 16oz boxing gloves, headgear, a couple pair of fight shorts, wraps, rash guard, bjj Gi, extra t-shirts, mouthpiece case, etc. I have had this bag for two weeks and have been very happy with it. So nice to have everything for training in one bag and not have to walk in with gear overflowing trying to carry everything in your hands or multiple small bags. Also as a side note-the logos are fine-not really a selling point for me either way-much more concerned with function than the look of the logos-that being said they are the standard Title MMA look and not too obnoxious.

The bag also has a zippered compartment on the bottom where you can pull out straps and attach so as to use it as a backpack. I have not used this feature yet, but might come in handy if you used this as a travel bag for tournament or just for a weekend travel bag-it is definitely big enough.

Thomas and Friends School Backpack

I didn't expect much from this backpack. Kinda cheaply made. It should last for as long as my little one needs it to. I haven't tested the bottle yet, no real need to considering you can just pack drink boxes. My son really loves the backpack though, Dad is just..meh.

Bought this backpack for my then 4 year old for summer day camp. It fit everything he needed & more. It could hold his change of clothes, a hooded towel, & Crocs. We later brought it on our trip to Hawaii and again, the backpack held plenty board books, coloring books, crayons, toys, candy, snacks, over-the-head child headphones for the ipod all without being too heavy for my child (who is typically a little smaller than the average kid.) I liked this one because it has a place for drinks on the outside and because it has 2 outer pockets. The size is not too large for a preschooler and when filled, not too heavy. Two different summer day camps, a trip to Hawaii & a trip to Disneyland and the backpack still looks brand new. Holds up very well. Highly recommend it!

Dakine 58-Litre Wheeled Duffle Bag

I've always liked Dakine since my first bag xx years ago (which is still going strong). It's my 5th Dakine bag and the 2nd of this type. It's not a big bag but that is why I bought it. With the weight restrictions in airplanes nowadays you can't really travel heavy and bulky anyway. It's a handy size with more than sufficient pockets (larger size units tend often to have too many compartments). I still manage to get it up to 23 kg. It's a stable bag to pull as it's not as high as larger size bags. Quality materials, maybe not the same quality as xx years ago, but then again, what is nowadays. I would rate it as value for money.

Bought matched sets for myself, my husband and our teenage son. All the bags have heavy duty zippers that never seem to catch no matter how we abuse them, and they roll like dreams. No more struggling at the airport.

Durability is over the top. After a recent trip, my son left his rolling duffel open in the back of his closet, on the floor. A few weeks later, wonder "what's that smell?" he discovered our cat had decided it was the perfect place to take a leak and had filled it with urine to the point where the bag was soaked through on one entire end. It even had urine sloshing around inside of it.

I took the whole bag and hosed it off outside, then submerged it in our whirlpool tub filled with hot water and bleach for several hours. Another good rinse, and took it out to dry. It dried fully in just four hours (!) and I swear nobody would be able to tell it wasn't brand new now.

I'm totally amazed with these Dakine bags. I'll never buy anything else again, but honestly they are so durable with the replaceable wheel option I can't see why we'd need to purchase luggage again in our lifetime.

The package arrived 3 days early, and looks great. I love the quality and rugged feel of the bag and the wheels, it doesn't look like its going to be falling apart anytime soon. The design is well thought out and is going to suit my purpose well. I would recommend looking up a quick review video on youtube if you are on the fence about purchasing this bag, to get a better idea of what you are buying.

The bag has 3 compartments: One near the carrying handle, the main compartment, then one more compartment at the bottom. I wish the partitions were removable in case you wanted to use it as one large bag at some point, but they are not. That said, the item is exactly as it is described.

Smart Buy Business Nylon Backpack

I bought this backpack 4 months ago to replace a briefcase style bag.

I have been very pleased with it. The construction is of sturdy black nylon throughout.

I use the two exterior pockets in the back for small headphones and a paint brush I use for dusting.

The first compartment has pen holders stitched in, so I use it to hold a legal pad holder and other office type things.

The next compartment has two dividers in the bottom third of the bag. One of the dividers is mesh with a zip top, so I use this compartment to hold a cd case, antenna. cords, flash drives and spare disks.

This compartment also has a slot to hold an MP3 player and a rubberized hole for a headphone cord.

The final compartment is sized to fit a 17.3 inch laptop. My Dell fits just fine. The bottom of this compartment is thickly padded to absorb shocks to your laptop.

The bag's hardware is all hard plastic like nylon. This initially worried me, but I have had no problems. Each of the three compartments is double zippered.

You can carry it with the handle on the top (I hang mine on a coat rack at work), you can carry it on one shoulder comfortably, or you can wear it as a normal backpack(it has padding against your back.

My only beef with the bag, is that all the compartment subdivisions I mentioned are in the bottom of the bag, so if you are putting in a lot of stuff, the bottom will become over full, while the top still has room to spare. Putting at least some pockets in the top third of the compartments will solve this, and I plan to do this.

Still, I don't see how you could get a better bag for under $35.00. HP did a good job.

The backpack is very sturdy and well made, it does not stick out like other backpacks yet is has plenty of space and pockets to pack things in and organize your stuff. I personally like the fact that it does not have flashy colors but has a low profile solid black color.

This is a solid buy and it won't set you back to much. No con's about it.

WB Road Trip Scooby Doo mini backpack - My first adventure small backpack

After just a few weeks of use the handle at the top tore on one side and isn't usable anymore. It's not that big so nothing heavy ever went into it. He was very upset about it.

This backpack does NOT have padded sholder straps. Meaning the roughly 1 inch nylon you expect to be below the padding to adjust the length of a strap, that stuff makes up the whole length of the sholder straps. However, the picture on the front is adorable, and raised on the backpack which makes it a fun texture for a toddler. Unlike some of the other Scooby backpacks the picture is friendly and positive. All the stitching looks good, though we havn't started using it yet but if you are ordering this for your a toddler in preschool, be aware you're going to have to sew some padding on the straps yourself. An inconvenience, but reasonable when you're paying less than $16 for a Scooby Doo trademark item. And fulfilled by amazon, which means you can expedite the shipping if you need it for the start of school like we did. I'm learning not all sellers offer that to all places. All in all not our first choice, needs a little customizing, but not a bad backpack. And amazon totally saved the day with the expediated shipping when no one else would to Hawaii. I guess money can't buy everything after all, lol.

CHOU CHOU Changing Backpack

This is a sweet diaper bag for the Chou Chou doll or really any doll. It contains one diaper, a changing pad, pretend lotion, pretend cream, and pretend powder. And as my title states, you carry it over one shoulder. I gave it five stars for educational value as it promotes nurturing skills for the little mommy or daddy.

My four year old daughter received the changing backpack for Christmas along with the bouncy seat and feeding set. The backpack is very good quality, although I feel a bit pricey (but grandma bought it). She uses the changing pad as a doll blanket. The backpack fits the feeding set inside along with the other accessories. The best thing about it is she loves to change her doll's diaper and the blanket matches the bouncy seat. The two zippers on the backpack are very easy for her to use.

For the price I would have expected more in the way of accessories, maybe another little diaper. The fabric the bag is made from is cute, and cleans easily, and it's sewn well enough.
