My son is only in his second week of the school year and already his backpack is falling apart. The netting on the side has a tear in it and the seams on the front of the backpack under the front pocket are separating. I thought by spending a little more money on a backpack it would hold up better and be of better quality. I would not recommend this product.
Ordered this backpack for my daughter to start 1st grade. She loves it! It is a little on the large size, but all the extra pockets are a nice added touch, including the side mesh one. It is just as described and you cannot beat all the adorable Brave images. My daughter was excited to have the only Brave backpack that included Merida, her 3 brothers (as bears), and her horse. :)

Feels nice and solid, I regularly carry two laptops with chargers and associated cables and a binder or two. Distributes weight well across shoulders and looks great. This backpack is just so-so. When I purchased it, I thought the whole pack was made out of the light-weight foamish material, but it isn't-only the front pocket. Turns out to be just an average backpack. Pretty boring....

This bag is perfect for a day trip walking, hiking or biking. I bought it for a vacation trip that my wife and I would be doing a lot of walking on. This bag held our camera, drinks, snacks and even a light jacket no problem. The construction is durable. The color is more of a camel brown than the mustard yellow in the picture. This bag is easy to carry, and I love the zipper in the strap. It doesn't fit the iphone, but it's a handy secret stash pocket. The 2 zippers on the main compartment divide the rest of the bag into 2 parts. There are no inner pockets or dividers. The zippers really need to be bi-directional. You have to unzip all the way down to retrieve anything, and things have a tendency to fall out if you don't rezip the bag which can be difficult with only one hand. It seems to be durable, and it fits my kindle and a camera. I just spent 2 weeks traveling with it, and an outer pocket on the body would be very helpful. I had my iphone in a case on the strap and that didn't work well. I wanted to like it-I really did. But it didn't quite cut it. This sling bag is a the perfect size for me because I'm on the shorter side. It is well constructed and seems durable. It has one large compartment and one smaller compartment which contains a small pocket for a wallet, phone or keys. There is also a small compartment on the strap that was designed for a phone but my phone is too big to fit in it so that's usually where I put my keys. I wish it had one more small pocket but other than that, I'm very happy with this bag.
I bought this laptop sleeve for my dad for Christmas. When it arrived it wasn't navy like it is in the photo it was bright orange with a navy "AU" logo. It was not ideal for my rather conservative dad to carry to the office. The sleeve was also quite thin and flimsy when compared to other neoprene sleeves I've bought from companies like Speck or InCase. Overall it is okay, but nothing special.
Cheaply made! The bottom wore out quickly and the zippers are very flimsy. My 1st grader only carried a folder and a library book in it and it wore out the bottom so thin you can see through it. You get what you pay for, I guess!
I haul around a lot of books (I'm not an e-book person) as well as a small lap top, and I take my kids all around New York City, so traveling with a compact, super-small back pack is a must in order to stay mobile and limber. This compact pack is the best I've ever found. It's incredibly economical and ergonomic in terms of space but it is also surprisingly roomy. The secret to the design is: 1) A total absence of superfluous pockets -most of which you never need anyway, and won't likely miss. There is just one main pocket and one small front pocket (with a nice clip to which I attach a flash drive). 2) The bag has no padding whatever. This is fine if you're just hauling around lunch or a spare jacket. But if you carry a laptop or tablet you will need to place it in a case or sleeve of your own -and it will have to be a really sleek, form-fitting case or you'll end up consuming all the room in the main pocket. I have an 11-inch Mac Airbook which I place in a snug sleeve and it fits beautifully in this bag. Amazingly, I can also load in books, a power adapter, and some other sundries with no problem at all. But beware: the absence of padding also means that this bag is not very water proof in the rain. For safety I carry a little plastic bag inside just in case I need to wrap items to protect them in the rain (and it takes up no space at all). Lest any of this sound like a hassle, it's not. It's just what you need to do if you want a really small, tidy bag in which you can lug all your stuff. This one is the best I've found.

Light weight, no-frills and reasonable durability: this pack will carry a water bottle, a light wind/waterproof, a bar, and your (light) descent shoes. It also doubles as a minimalistic dayhike pack. It is very stable on the back, with minimal waist and shoulder straps, and could be clipped below you easily for squeezes. Many packs for this purpose are too complicated and heavy. My only tiny criticism is that the outer pocket zipper (key pocket?) should open upwards so that it won't open if dragged against rock. I backpack 60+ nights per year. I loop a day pack over my main backpack so I can separate it for wandering away from base camp. This one is lightweight, well made and simple. No plethora of pockets which always seem to leak. Just the basics. I use the Black Diamond Bullet day pack for trad climbing in Yosemite and for big wall free climbs. It holds everything I need on the wall including water, food, guide book, headlamps, camera, sun block, emergency blanket, approach shoes, etc. It's super durable and very well constructed and lasts many climbing seasons. This pack can be carried by the leader or follower depending on the free climb. If you want to go as light as possible but still bring the essentials, this pack is perfect!

I found this laptop back pack at Fry's electronics, but it was like $100, which I wasn't interested in paying. I paid around $64 on Amazon. The material felt solid and the laptop is well protected undoubtedly. There are so many other pockets and sections to store things, which make this bag worth the money. This bad is filled with padding all around, including on the back section, so you are not feeling the contents of the bag, while toting it. I noticed an issue about 4 months in with the top portion of the arm piece showing some padding. The threading on mine was starting to come off; however, I contacted Sony and they are sending me a replacement FOC. Good Customer Service.....

Great bag for the price. Made of canvas and looks to be durable. My only complaint is that the website said the colors were green, blue, and black assorted, but I recieved a red one. My son liked it though. They should list all of the possible colors, if I had gotten a pink one, I would have been very upset.
I wrote this review because there is very little about this pack online. Forget hiking, I wanted a day pack that I can for staying in Europe: which means biking and public transportation. My old pack was too big and I kept bumping into people on the train or even passing others on a bike with my huge old jansport. I have the Kelty child trans backpack, and duffel bags which exceeded my expectations, (I wish they made them in 1st world).

I bought this backpack for two trips to Europe that I was planning. I wanted something that would be light and comfortable to carry during the day so that I could always have my belongings with me and not leave things at hotels/hostels.
I bought this full-sized Cars backpack for my son's 4th birthday. He loved it! Formerly he had a Cars backpack that had puffy decals of McQueen and Francesco. Unfortunately over time the decals all peeled off. This backpack has no decals, just screened-on pictures that are nice and bright. The backpack itself has two roomy compartments, one main compartment and one smaller front compartment. The removable lunch bag (Velcros on) is small but perfect for his preschool snack (we plan to use another lunch bag once he goes to full-day kindergarten). The only thing I wish it had is double pull zippers (each compartment only has a single unidirectional zipper that requires it to be opened completely to put anything inside). But apparently most of the backpacks these days only have single zippers. All in all a great purchase at a great price.
These are better than expected..not real leather, but sure does look and feel like it. Nice size, lots of pockets. Some of the outside ones are small and shallow though...small keychain/fob or gum, lip balm....but the reason I bought it was because its small, lightweight and I have painful shoulders from carrying traditional purses.

I have the 14.1" sony vaio, and i bought the blue color sleeve. Is pretty good fit, extra room for me to store cable. Front zipper allow me to put USB Drive. Sometimes I even put key in there. Overall it keep my notebook safe from scratch. Very good purchase. For the price it is worth the purchase.
I have had my backpack for a week and a half now and one of the shoulder straps broke already. It broke where it is stitched at the bottom of pack. I feel this is something a quality control person should really pay attention to. Not enough of the strap was caught by the sewing machine. This could had been a major safety issue if it had broke while i was riding my motorcycle.
This product did what it need it to. Now like someone said before" it smell very very bad". I do not understand why they but the holder where you have to zip up the bag. That was a very bad idea. It make u feel like you or it would unzip and your laptop can come out of the bag.

I often would take a lightweight duffle bag in addition to my backpack and rollaboard. Now I have a high quality padded duffelbag to take along. It clips to the integrated buckles, so things will stay together as I move between flights.
