This is an extremely well-conceived daybag. The 1250 cu. in. main compartment is plenty big enough for some snacks and a fleece--perhaps a well-rolled softshell. The hydration compartment is room and could easily accommodate a 3L pouch. I currently switch between a 2L reservoir from my Camelbak Rogue 70 oz Hydration Pack, or a 2L Source Outdoors Widepack Hydration Reservoir System (Transparent Blue, 2-Litres ). Both, although of different design, fit very comfortably. This pack feature right and left hydration tube management. There are pass-throughs for the tube at the head of each shoulder strap, with very well positioned elastic straps to manage the tube and nozzle. The base of each shoulder strap features a very small pocket (big enough for some glow sticks, an extra carabiner, or a protein bar). The shoulder straps themselves are made of a very comfortable perforated egg-shell material (as is the spine of the bag), allowing for extreme breath-ability. The waist belt is similarly perforated, breathable and comfortable. Each side has a good sized pocket for camera's, maps, etc. The front of the bag has a stuff pocket for, perhaps, some rain-gear, and that's covered by a criss-cross of compression straps to keep everything tight. The base of the bag has to loops for poles or picks (I've never had a use for these.) Two more compression straps for the main compartment round out the bag. If I have any complaint, it's that the bag is a little "strappy". This could be easily fixed by simply trimming the length of some of them.All in all, I love this bag. I stuff it with enough water(did I mention the two bottle pockets on the sides?), snacks and basic necessities (sunscreen, ponchos, cameras) to keep my entire family comfortable for an entire afternoon and I hardly even know it's there. This is an outstanding product.

I've had this bag for a year now. It's definitely waterproof ( came in handy when the group I was with got caught in the rain, i was able to keep important stuff like keys and wallets dry) and roomy enough to carry just about everything you need for a day trip. I wish this version can with some sort of small interior pocket for small stuff. it has a small interior clip and I keep a small waterproof pouch clipped to it to compensate for the lack of interior pocket. Overall very happy with this purchase!

A friend of mine just gave me this wallet/purse a couple of weeks ago, and I just love it. She has used hers for awhile now and bought it especially to carry when she goes to casinos. She liked it so much she bought several more to give as gifts (including mine). On the inside, there are 4 pockets to hold your cards (which is where I put my license, check card, AAA card, and Health card), and those pockets hide another bigger pocket to hold the rest of your cards. There is a mesh zip pocket to hold change, and then of course the long pocket (like a man's wallet) to hold dollar bills. The entire thing zips up to 5" x 6 1/2"...black on one side and blue on the other (or other colors that you might choose).If I'm just running to the local store, I can grab this and go. If I'm going on a larger shopping trip, I put this in my large purse that holds my hairbrush and other necessities and just take this wallet into each store or restaurant. The braided shoulder cord is heavy duty, hanging about 26 inches in length. When I first got it, I lost it twice in the first store I went to, because it is so extremely lightweight that you don't even realize it's there. Then I realized it needs to be worn across the chest which in turn places it perfectly at your hip level and makes it impossible to lose. No need to worry about your purse being stolen from a shopping cart or from your table while you're up at the buffet, because you can wear this small unobtrusive wallet at all times. I love it!

JanSport Market Street Messenger Bag
Anyone familiar with the movie "Steel Magnolias" remembers the line uttered by Shelby: "Pink is my signature color." Well, substitute the word 'purple' for 'pink' and you'll get an idea of my signature color. So when my old messenger bag went kaput (right after the start of the new semester, naturally), I frantically searched for a replacement. Lo and behold, JanSport's Market Street Messenger Bag in Black/Electric Purple Flitter popped up and seemed to fit the bill (and seeing as how I love butterflies as well, it all seemed perfectly synchronicitous [I don't think that's a real word, but, hey, making up words worked for Shakespeare]).The pluses: 1.) The strap is fairly sturdy and, with the adjustable shoulder pad, allows for comfortable carrying. The strap itself is adjustable in length, allowing the bag to be carried closer to the body for security if desired. 2.) The padded back panel is nice. Even though I don't currently carry a laptop, should I need to for school, I won't have to worry about cracking it against the floor or desk. Plus, the padding carries around to the side panels as well as to the bottom, so any device put into that back pocket will be well protected. 3.) The front flap is also padded, so although the pocket is small, should I carry an e-reader or a tablet rather than a laptop and put it in the front flap, it'd still be well-protected from any jouncing, jostling or random hard knocks. 4.) The Velcro closure on the front flap allows for quick access, which is nice on those days when I'm running late to class and I have to get my crap out quickly to catch up.
The minuses: 1.) It doesn't hold quite as much as my old bag. My old messenger bag had an expandable bottom, which meant it could go from huge to back-strain huge. This bag doesn't have an expandable bottom, so once you reach its B.S.L., that's it. (Every bag comes with its own built-in B.S.L. [Bag Stuffage Limit]. Once you reach that limit, it's really not wise to exceed it and JanSport has nicely provided a measurement of how much you can stuff into its Market Street Messenger Bag [1345 cu. in/22L] so hopefully you don't reach the point of bag explosion or back implosion.) Currently, I've only got one (really thick) textbook and one large 3-ring binder in the bag and while technically there should be room for at least another textbook and a few more binders and folders, it already feels a bit... I won't say cramped, but it is cozy in there. So it isn't the roomiest of bags. 2.) The description says it has a side mesh pocket to hold a water bottle, but it doesn't. I don't know if this feature was on an older model of the Market Street bag which was then discontinued or is only available in certain colors. I do know it was rather disappointing when I received the bag. 3.) The organization pockets for pencils and whatnot is on the inside of the front panel, which is awkward and inconvenient. It would've been better placed on the outside of the front panel, where a mesh zippered pocket currently sits. Not only that, but the pencil pockets (of which there are only two) are on the small side. My mechanical pencil doesn't fit into either one, so that's rather a poor design. 4.) I wish it had at least one more pocket. It's got the interior pocket for a laptop and the smaller pocket on the flap for books or whatever and that's it. It would've been nice to have had an additional pocket on the back panel of the bag, just to have more storage. Again, to refer to my old messenger bag, it had five pockets, so that there was room for everything. 5.) The biggest minus is the strap. It's sewn down to the bag on both ends instead of being attached by swivel clips. This means when the strap gets twisted (and it's a strap, it lives to get twisted), you have to set the bag down and really work to get it straightened out. With swivel clips, a twisted strap is untangled with a flick or two of the wrist, even when the bag is on your shoulder and you're on the move. It's a small detail, but the fact that there are no swivel clips is indicative of quality, in my eyes; not only that, the lack of those clips is frustrating and, especially when the bag is full, a real pain to deal with.
All-in-all, while I don't see what the fuss is all about concerning JanSport (this is my first purchase of the brand), I can't say I'm too disappointed. Then again, I can't say I'm too impressed either. However, the bag is sturdy enough and if I get five years of good use out of it, then I'll have gotten my money's worth and that's something I can't complain about.

Sonic the Hedgehog Backpack
This backpack is horrible. I have re-sewed the seams many, many times, but the top seams on both sides keep ripping open just past where it was last sewed. My son is in Kindergarten so he's not even putting school books in it. It's just a cheaply made backpack that does not hold together.

My son has only had this backpack for 2 months and it already has a huge hole in the bottom. He is only in 1st grade and does not carry heavy books or anything that would cause undue stress to the seams. Don't buy.It's not the seller's fault but, this is not a quality product.

I ordered this for my Sonic-obsessed son because I didn't see any Sonic backpacks around where I live. He loves it and it really is cute. The quality is like any other kids' backpacks you see out there-meaning it's not cheaply made but I wouldn't say it's the same quality as those sold in a sporting goods store. This bag is bigger than you would think. It is very well made, although the inner lining is a bit stiff and "crinkly", but that's fine. It fits very well, and best of all, holds the new macbook air 13" vertically like a glove. I have a very thin sleeve on the macbook by waterfield, and it fits perfectly. Very useful pockets/etc on the outside. The bag itself is dark grey, *not black*, but it looks perfect. Love it. !!

I purchased this Lassig Vintage Metro bag in gray (which is apparently no longer available) and I love it! I looked and compared so many diaper bags and I finally settled on this one, and I'm glad that I purchased it. I'm sure that everybody's likes and dislikes are different, so I'll first list the things that I was looking for in a diaper bag;Modern design that goes with both jeans and dress.
Not too heavy but large capacity.
Ease of cleaning.
Can use it as a regular bag if I wanted to.
Ability to store my things and baby stuff separately.
Easy one hand access to pockets for keys and wallets.
Comes with stroller hooks.
As you can tell from my 5 star rating, this bag met all of my requirements! I'll now go through these points more in details.
1) Modern design that goes with both jeans and dress.
I had such a hard time finding a not-too-casual and not-too-classy diaper bags! Most of the diaper bags out there seem to lean towards one way. I first thought about purchasing the highly rated Skip Hop Studio or Versa diaper bags, but then I learned that their fabric looks very cheap. I also wanted to stay away from JanSport backpack material, so that narrowed down the options for modern looking diaper bags significantly. I then thought about brands like Timi & Leslie and Nest, but I did not want to purchase a heavy leather/leatherette bag. Ultimately, I settled on laminated/oilcloth for its lightweight and ease of cleaning. The matt finish gives a nice classy look to the delicate white line design. I really love the look!
2) Not too heavy but large capacity.
The bag weighs 1.48kg, so it's slightly heavier than those diaper bags that are made of JanSport backpack like polyester fabric, but is much lighter than those bags made of leather/leatherette fabric. The bag is 45.5 x 23 x 25 cm; it's big enough to carry a 13" laptop and your baby stuff. I can carry so much stuff with this, yet it's not too bulky.
3) Ease of cleaning.
Outer fabric is oilcloth, so you can just wipe it off clean. Inside pockets are water repellent, so they are great for storing wet bibs and burp clothes. The changing mat and the inner fabric are antimicrobial too. I also like that the zippers for the two main compartments go down all the way, so I can easily clean the bottom of the bag.
4) Can use it as a regular bag if I wanted to.
I think many of the more affordable diaper bags ($100 or less) tend to be made for one purpose; to carry diapers and baby things. For that reason, I thought about Nest diaper bags, because their inner compartment zips off and you can use them as regular bags after your baby grows up. However, I couldn't commit spending nearly $300 on them:( Considering the price, this bag looks classy enough and some bulky compartments like bottle and jar holders come off. How cool is that?! Also, the insulated bottle holder can be used separately!
5) Ability to store my things and baby stuff separately.
There are a total of 4 big compartments and 2 front pockets, so it's very easy to keep our stuff separate. I like the design for both the organizational aspect and hygiene reasons. I'm soon uploading some pictures, so please check them out for more details!
6) Easy one hand access to pockets for keys and wallets.
The front pockets are magnetic, so even when I'm carrying my baby, I can reach for my wallet with one hand. You'll be surprised how many diaper bags out there only have zippered pockets! I mean who wants to struggle with zippered pockets when I have a crying baby in my arm and needs to get my wallet out ASAP?
7) Comes with stroller hooks.
No brainer. In addition, it comes with a shoulder strap! It's doesn't have a shoulder pad, so I don't think you want to use it long term though. I'm thinking it'll be come in handy when I have to travel by air and have to carry suitcases and strollers during the trip.

Medium LCII Military Rucksack Alice Pack-Woodland
I received this and it looks used, it even smells used. I received this bawled up in a box. No form of any type of folding of the material its made of. It stinks, it has tears and I know I didn't pay for any kind of used material. Its cheap but USED was not in any option I picked. It comes with no pack straps and in I say again not good condition.
Not much to say about these packs, they're just solid little hiking packs.
Tumi Alpha Sport Duffel 22150
If you are considering the Tumi Alpha Duffel, you already know all you need to buy it. It is the absolute best quality with the functional design and subtle style that is Tumi. This is the kind of bag that you will only have to replace if you lose it. Is it worth the price? I certainly thought so, I bought one. I have been very happy with it since. If you have the means to pick one up, I highly recommend it. Isn't that what Ferris Bueller said about Cameron's Ferrari? Same idea but in luggage.

Look, I love Tumi luggage and bags. This bag is one of the larger gym bags that I've owned. It's quality and had tons of space for your clothes, shoes, and whatever other accessories you might want. Also works well as a weekend bag.I'm 6'2" and this is one of the few bags with a shoe compartment that actually fits my shoes. Tumi has been great with repairs to other Tumi items that I have.Its meant to be for the gym but I have used it for everything but that! I would highly recommend this bag for short trips. It is pretty spacious and has compartments/packets for your accessories including a slide in for your shoes. I have used it for flights its a little smaller than the standard cabin baggage but I don't usually carry a larger bag so this fits the bill. It really doesn't look like a gym bag, so it is not out-of-place.
Dakine 33-Litre Interval Wet/Dry Pack
First, I got to note that I was specifically looking for a bag to take outdoors, and that does not have a laptop compartment, or bunch of pen organizers (who uses pens, these days, right?). Turns out that the choice for that type of bag is very limited, all the packs these days are oriented towards laptop-carrying folks. I already have a bag that I use for that, so my goal was to get something that's durable and comfortable, and can be taken to the beach, hike, or a bike ride. Dakine bags are all very well made, and this one is no exception. Stitching is nice, and materials are great. This bag is great all around, I can fit a couple of beach towels, some drinks and snacks, my sunglasses, and some light surf gear and head to the beach. The wetsuit pocket isn't big enough to fit a full-sized wetsuit, but great for bringing back wet booties or board shorts without getting everything else wet. The front cooler pocket holds a lot more than seems at first, and is really handy. Straps are comfortable, and the sternum strap is good for using this when biking particularly to prevent straps from sliding back.

I've packed up this diaper bag with all things I'll need to bring new baby home from the hospital and everything I needed fit perfectly. I haven't given birth yet but so far I like this bag. At first I thought the fabric was strange, and it does feel weird, but if something gets spilled on it or it gets spit up on it I know I could easily wipe it off unlike other fabrics.I ordered several bags at the same time not knowing which one I would like and this is the one I decided to keep for the following reasons:
-It can stand up on its own. Which I thought would be important not knowing how many hands I would have available to hold up the bag and dig through it to look for something.
-I have the option to carry over my shoulder or to wear as a backpack.
-Overall neat and clean look. It doesn't have 10 zippered pockets on the outside making me wonder which pocket has what I need.
-While it doesn't have a million pockets, I think its pockets are convenient and easily accessible.
-Lightweight even with all his stuff in it.
-Feels well made and durable. It definitely felt like it would last longer than other bags. The materials and hardware do not feels as though they would rip or fray easily.
Overall I am very happy I decided to keep this bag and feel that it is worth the price.

I travel about 100k miles a year domestically. I was looking for something durable and lightweight, yet small enough to fit easily in overhead bins. So far I have been on 3 trips. The bag easily fits a full week of clothes ( including gym shoes). So far I have been very happy with the purchase.

This bag has the convenience of being lightweight (5 pounds 13 oz) before adding 1 item and it doesn't sacrifice quality or features to do it.This is my 3rd Eagle Creek bag because I travel often and EC stands up to considerable abuse and use. The Load Warrior 22 is a carry on bag made for ease of handling, lifting, pulling, packing and convenient last second additions (coats, shopping bags etc). It can be small and lightly packed or expanded to the size of a small car. (Ok, that's a stretch, but it can hold a surprising load and still maintain its status as a carry on).
It has 4 handles (top, side, bottom, front) for picking it up no matter how it's presented without re-positioning it. It rolls over any hard surface with ease including bumping up and down stairs. I don't coddle my travel equipment. It's got to stand up to rough handling, extreme weather and airport baggage handlers.
The telescoping handle rises and falls with slippery ease and I like how it maneuvers. My old EC goes with me everywhere and after 8 years is still like new. How is that possible? I consider EC an ultimate good value. I don't have any problem with it tipping over as another reviewer mentioned. It depends on how you pack it like all bags but maybe more so with an ultra light like the Load Warrior 22.

Filling this bag just moderately it will not stay upright. Open the expansion and you'll have to hold it constantly. Don't even try to use the extra bag attachment.
