Lalaloopsy 16-inch Backpack - You Bet Your ButtonMy youngest loves lalaloopsy dolls so when we opened the box that the backpack came in today she was so excited to see it... so glad she loves it..

Designer Sleeves 15" Executive Laptop Sleeve

Designer Sleeves 15' Patience Executive Laptop BagBeautiful bag but it was misrepresented it does not have a shoulder strap or pockets inside like shown... disappointed.

I am so picky about computer bags, I have a closetful. The only one I use all the time is the one I take on business trips, a vertically-oriented small roller bag that fits my Mac laptop, cords, cables, and many other things. But the rollerbag is overkill when I just want to bring my 15" MacBook Pro along for the day, like to a friend's house or to an all-day seminar.

This bag arrived just a few days ago and I LOVE it. The shoulder strap is adjustable (the picture shows it at its shortest) so you can wear it as a messenger bag if you lengthen it. The handles on top are padded and very securely attached.

The 15" laptop slides in quite easily, there's a little extra wiggle room so you don't need to pull it on like a wetsuit (which a few other sleeves I've tried are wont to do). The zipper extends down around both corners (about 2") so you don't have to worry about scratching the case when you pull it out or put it in.

The inside has a good-sized mesh pocket with a velcro closure, and another pocket with smaller pockets in front for pens or credit cards, which I doubt I'll use. Both of these are on the same side, as shown. The other inside side has no pockets. But the outside has a roomy zippered closure for my power cord and USB drive, it could easily fit my iPad too. I like how the outside zipper is hidden behind a curve cutout outlined in black, which you can kind of see in the pictre.

The exterior artwork is lovely and unusual. It's extremely light, as any sleeve would be. The bag looks high-end but the price was right. Well done!

beatrix Big Kid Pack Papar Owl Backpack

Big Kid Papar Backpacki wanted to buy a back pack for my daughter that was different then all the rest. at first i was hesitant about the price point, however, this bag has lasted through 1 school year and she's using it again this year which made it a great value for money. she loves this back pack and we want to buy her the luggage case for christmas. we will continue to be fans and customers of this great line!! thanks beatrix :)

My daughter loves the bold graphic animals on Beatrix backpacks and lunch boxes. She's in an owl phase now. The side pockets are convenient. The straps are sturdy. The only slight complaint I have is that the white has become discolored from all the use. (A surface cleaning might do the trick though.) I would definitely recommend.

Navy Ipod Mp3 School Sling Backpack

Navy Ipod Mp3 School Sling Backpack
  • Pack is uniquely shaped
  • A zip pocked in front
  • An audio pocket inside and headphone outlet on top
  • A detachable phone pocket on the strap
  • A mesh pocket on one side

When I bought this, i thought it was smaller, yesterday I received it and my surprise was that the actual size is not so small, as i was expected, but it's ok I mean, you can put a couple of books maybe a mini laptop and a jacket and you're ready to go. The color is true to the picture (at least the grey with navy blue) it has a patch that reads "H20" so that means it is impermeable, but I haven't test it. The design is pretty cool

and that was my main reason to buy this, so I'm happy, this is a good product.

Recycled Jute Rice Backpack (Nepal)

Recycled Jute Rice BackpackI love this bag, and everyone I know loves it too.

It's 100% recycled, and quite durable. I thought from the picture that it might be sort of small but it's very big. I have a 16 inch laptop that I keep in there most of the time plus a few textbooks and there's room to spare!

It's amazing and at a great price!

I highly recommend this bag.

When I got this backpack it was amazing. It came reallly fast in the mail, it was bigger then expected and i got soo many complements from people. But only after about 3 weeks of using it at school one of the straps started ripping, a button ripped off, and one of the flaps is ripping off! I never really put any books in it just a binder. Im soo disappointed that it broke! Unless you plan on using it like a purse dont waste your money or youll end up broken hearted like me

Tumi Luggage T-tech Forge Steel City Slim Backpack

Tumi Luggage T-tech Forge Steel City Slim Backpack, Terrain, MediumThis bag may look small and slim but I can fit two text books and a whole bunch of other stuff in there no problem! It's so stylish and feels like it will last for a long time. I got mine on the actual website and got the bag in navy and it goes with everything. It fits my 13" mac air nicely too. You couldn't fit a notebook larger than 13" though. My only complaint is that the zippers are kind of hard to close sometimes but other than that i love this bag!

Poodelena Go-Go Backpack

Poodelena Go-Go BackpackI have a very girly, creative girl who loves pink! For a long while I'd be looking for just the right backpack that would make her heart skip a beat and mine as well. Then I found this treat of pinkaliciousness! It is a good size to fit all of her toys, books, snacks, and other things that she likes to take on during her adventures around the city or even in our own apartment! I love its shiny and velvet appliques that add an extra touch of pizzazz and style. We now also know that there is a Poodlena book and toy. Couldn't wait to buy them too!

This backpack is great. My great granddaughter loads her other toys into it and takes them all around the house. It's really made for little ones with its nice texture.

Thule Crossover 30 Liter Backpack

Thule Crossover 30 Liter BackpackThis video shows you the Thule backpack inside and out.

This bag is expensive, and very well made, but was not something that I became very excited about. Don't get me wrong, it has some nice features, but a couple of issues have me disappointed, and I would not buy this bag for me.

CONS:

1) It is very hard to unzip the bag all the way around, because you first have to remove two awkward straps midway down the sides (with tight hinges that are hard to undo and redo) to do so. I really don't like this design. Had this been something that worked better, I'd give the bag another star.

2) The bag is not waterproof. Some things I was carrying inside got wet, and I was disappointed it wasn't a little more water resistant. Not sure I would want to carry wet towels or clothes inside...

3) The way the bag deals with straps makes it difficult to adjust, should you need to. Most backpacks just have loose straps; this bag has them tightly bunched up in a ball and velcroed together. It really isn't worth the effort to undo them and retie them to adjust the back straps.

PROS:

1) I like the crushproof container. What a great idea. You could put sunglasses or small electronic items here. Nice addition.

2) Rugged. The material that it is made of seems pretty durable. I expected that with the high price tag and I was not disappointed.

3) Lots of pockets and zippers. Also, since it is so square, and has all those compartments, it really feels more like a carry on suitcase than a backpack. This is not a bad thing, and makes me like it a bit more, as I can fit more into it. (I would rate this 4 stars as a soft case carry on bag, but only 3 as a walk around backpack).

4) Handles on both ends. This is a nice feature as you can grab it from anywhere to take it with you.

Overall, the bag is interesting, just not my cup of tea. If it were 40% cheaper I would give it 4 stars. As it is I recommend that you see this bag in person and fiddle with it before buying, and you may be very happy you did or didn't buy it.

Buy Thule Crossover 30 Liter Backpack Now

My current backpack was probably purchased back in the early 90's and the zipper is hard to use because it's always get caught in the threads that are fraying off the pack so the Thule Crossover is a heck of an upgrade. From the moment I pulled it out of the box it felt like I was holding a quality piece of luggage (and in many ways it does feel like luggage). Everything about it feels solidly made and thoughtfully designed. Obviously I can't look 10 years into the future to see how the Thule holds up but I have this feeling this one is built to last.

What most impressed me was how well thought out the Crossover is. The pack feels very light with a back that is hard enough to stop items inside from poking you but padded so it doesn't feel like you have a plank of wood on your back. There is a solid compartment at the top of the pack for storing delicate items like electronics or skiing goggles. The pack will unzip almost completely in a similar way to luggage and has several more compartments inside including one near the top that my wallet fit into snuggly. I also like the smaller pockets on the side of the pack that could be used for storing car keys, credit cards or even a small camera. There are handles at the base and the top of the pack for hoisting around and I can imagine that the idea was that the Crossover could be used as a carry on and the handles would work nicely for getting it into an overhead compartment.

The Crossover looks slick and could be your sole source of luggage on a short trip. It can be laid flat and opened up like a small suitcase with plenty of room for several days of clothing. There is even a zipper that runs straight down the back where you could possibly store a dress shirt or important papers that you need to grab quickly. Let me say that when I describe it as luggage that is not to imply that it cannot be used just like a normal backpack for carrying schoolbooks and lunches. It's just that the design here is far beyond what I normally think of when I imagine a backpack. I've reviewed other high quality items in the past and the killer tends to be price but in this instance I think that 100 bucks is an extremely fair price for what you get. This might well be the last backpack I ever get.

Thule makes a laptop bag. This is not it. Their laptop sling is a 19 liter one, and is probably more suited for those who take their laptops to a lot of places. I just take mine out occasionally to other people's houses, like when I'm house sitting. Thus, this larger, heavier backpack suits me better. I wanted a lot of protection for my laptop, as well as the "crush-proof SafeZone compartment" for my iPod and cell phone. (The sling doesn't have that compartment.) There is a front section for my papers or books, and a smaller zip section inside for pens and such. It's water resistant, and I know the straps are never going to break...sending my laptop crashing to the floor. I love it! I only wish it was purple or royal blue. :)

Afterthoughs: It's like two years later almost to the day that I posted this review. I just wanted to add that this is truly a great backpack for lugging around a laptop. The crush-proof compartment is also terrific for a camera. And the backpack is indestructible when it comes to pets--at least cats and ferrets. For some reason, it attracts cats and ferrets like crazy. Cats like to sleep on it, and ferrets spend hours trying to get into it. Their attempts all fail, and their biting and scratching does absolutely no harm to this Thule. The only problem is the cat and ferret hair that gets on it. :)

This bag is touted as a gear bag for outdoor enthusiasts. With myself being one, one with lots of gear, and a familiar and respectable name like Thule, I jumped at the opportunity to own this bag! The crush proof case is marketed towards ski goggles (even the tag in the pocket is the shape/size of goggles) so I thought this would be a great boot bag. I was disappointed to find that my boarding boots fit in this bag only if the hard casing, which makes it crush proof, was removed from that pocket (meaning that my goggles wouldn't be protectd/nor fit). It was about 1" shy of fitting it all.

That being said, it's still a great bag, just not for my initial intended purpose. I love this bag for a carry on for airline travel. In a way it's the perfect blend between a backpack and a carry on suitcase. The insider liner reminds me of that in a wardrobe bag. It unzips to open all the way, like a suitcase(it lays open on it's own), so it's easy to pack and gives you easy access to it's contents. It has two handles, one on each side so it's easy to zip up again. I love how it fits on my back. The straps are very comfortable without being bulky. I have narrow shoulders and this bag sits so comfortably. The zippers have noticeable blue grips which makes them easy to find, although I did notice it zips easier when full. The material is seemingly durable, yet very light weight, and the entire bag is PVC-free, love that! One small complaint about the material the straps and back pads are made of is that it seems to attract pet hair! Not so lovely considering those parts touch your clothing.

I am glad have this bag, even though it won't hold all my snow boarding gear. I look forward to using this bag as a carry on while flying, for hiking, and just out and about with my kids. Even though the crush proof pocket won't be used for my ski goggles, it'll be useful for my camera, or even for keeping snacks from getting crushed..especially for keeping bananas from making everything in the bag smell like one! ;)

eBags Kalya Rolling Tote

eBags Kalya Rolling ToteI've been looking for a rolling tote that would fit under the seat on a plane. I really did not want one that would have to go in the overhead bin. Most of the less expensive ones have received negative ratings, either because of odor or shoddy construction. This one, although a bit more than I wanted to spend, seems to be very well made. It looks like it will fit easily under the seat and is sturdy enough to be jammed in the overheat bin if necessary. It stands up by itself, a feature that many of the rolling duffels lack. The handle snaps open, another feature I was looking for. The inside is completely lined. There are a number of exterior pockets. The zippers are YKK brand and seem to be quite sturdy. And it comes in Purple!

CalPak Ranger Laptop Backpack

CalPak Ranger Laptop BackpackThe backpack arrived in a timely manner. It provides protection for the Netbook my son takes to school. It was more roomy that he expected. The multiple zippered areas make it easy to store cords, powersupplies and books, as necessary.

I purchased my CaliforniaPak a few months ago. I liked all the pockets when I first got it. A few weeks in, however, it started to fray on the straps. I was surprised because I have had cheaper backpacks that have lasted longer. Hopefully they will honor their 1-3 year warranty policy because I am sending this back! Maybe my pack is unusual; I certainly hope so.

One other complaint: not enough padding on the bottom to protect a laptop.

These neoprene bags are terrific for carrying and storing computers. This is my third bag similar to this one. Others were for a 10" netbook and a 17" laptop. They hold all the items I need to carry with me when needed, and keep everything stored together. This was a little larger than I needed for my 11.6" netbook, but works just fine.

The North Face Terra 65

Thorn Green LargeHello Everyone,

I guess I will be the first to review this item. I want to go over in detail on the extremities I put this backpack through and what I have planned for the future with this pack.

I went on a 2 day hike with my father-in-law up the Estrella mountain in Phoenix, AZ. The mountain peak is over 4500 ft in elevation and base starts at just around 1100 ft. I purchased this backpack specifically for this trip and I am glad to say I will be using this backpack more in the future. I don't take hiking lightly and this backpack held up to my specs. If you are interested in the conditions I put this backpack through than read the next paragraph. If not than skip to the pros and cons below:

As previously stated my father-in-law and I went on a hike that was around 3500 ft change in elevation. We were in the dead middle of the desert hiking this mountain. There are no streams, rivers, or lakes nearby. We had to carry everything from water, rope, tent, sleeping bag, weapons (rattle snakes, coyotes, mountains lions, etc), change of clothes, food, etc. . The trip was routed for around 12-13 miles in total hike, 45 lbs packs (each), and all rocky terrain. This backpack has some pros and cons I would like to cover. This backpack was placed on the rocks and was pressed against the mountain as we were resting.

Pros:

Great Padding

Great back support

Great hip strap

Great chest strap

A lot of space

Lightweight

A lot of options for adjustments to get comfortable

Solid and reliable material

Cons:

It would be nice to have quick access pockets on the hip pads

The mesh material to hold water bottles on the sides of the backpack do not work well if the backpack is full

The storage area for the water reservoir (camelback) is to low and serves no point as the hook for the camelback sits up much higher. (It does work well for back up camelbacks to be stored).

I gave this product 4 stars and would suggest this product to anyone. I enjoy using this backpack and I am soon going to be using this backpack on my trip down to the bottom of the grand canyon. I have no fear that this backpack will do me great justice.

After living/working in Africa, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Central America and, of course, the U.S, having kit that I can rely upon, to function in the best and worst of conditions, is essential. This pack is CAVERNOUS, and holds everything I need for 5-7 days in "the bush", it customizes to my frame easily (5'8" 79kg), dries quickly, and with a little water proofing, keeps things relatively dry. The side zipper is good for access, but not great, and the sleeping bag compartment can hold a blanket NOT a sleeping bag just FYI. That being said, if the zippers were a little heavier, like REI puts on most of their packs, I'd give this bag 5 stars. It's light, strong, durable and worth every penny regardless of how serious/recreational the user might be.

I just returned from a two day hiking/backpacking trip and the pack preformed great. It's well padded and it had plenty of room for everything that I had with me. I especially liked the stretchy pouch on the outside of the pack. I was able to stuff it full of a lot of extras I needed to keep handy.

Read Best Reviews of The North Face Terra 65 Here

(I am neither a North Face employee, nor an associate, so I don't have to use the "The").

I have been a North Face customer for more than 30 years, during which time North Face changed from a technical outdoors and climbing company to a worldwide mass marketer of urban fashion clothing, daypacks, and yes, technical and climbing equipment which doesn't comprise a big part of their revenue anymore. I have my own fashion, I don't buy North Face for that in fact, if I could pay extra to get their logo off my equipment, I would. I hate being a walking advertisement.

Yes, their stuff is expensive, even the consumer stuff, and is generally well made with attention to the kind of detail that really matters out in the heat, cold and wet. If it is critical equipment, buy the best.

I recently bought the Terra 65 to do a little walking in the US western Cascades range. Haven't had it out yet, but it looks decently made. However, unpacking and examining the Terra raised some issues that have annoyed me for some time.

1. No instructions or advice included with the product.

OK, I know what an ice axe loop is for (salesman identified it as a walking stick loop) and how to use one. The various pockets and straps were somewhat more obscure and took some exploring. Why not include a pamphlet extolling the features built in to the pack so I get them all at once? There's a mysterious plastic clip at the top of the main compartment apparently for a camelbak bladder with a small opening for the mouth tube. It should be a carabiner or other metal fastener -the plastic is bound to break -but the real issue is that North Face does NOT INCLUDE ANY INSTRUCTIONS OR DETAILED INFORMATION with its equipment. The apparent attitude is "we're so good we don't have to explain ourselves if you don't know or can't figure it out, tough toenails". The website is no better very heavy on lifestyle marketing, useful information not so much. The snooty waiter approach, in other words.

2. The European and UK version of this pack comes with a terrific rain cover which wraps around the back and protects the pack from torrential rains. It is not available in the US, either as an option or separate item and not even mentioned on the North Face website. Why? I know it rains in the US, I just came in out of a thunderstorm a few hours or so. Do Europeans get wetter than Americans?

3. The pack comes with an adjustable torso system, but no instructions on how to determine your torso length or how to adjust it (hint: there is a hidden velcro strip behind the frame which must be separated and a cam on the bottom of the pack frame). Again, no instructions included, nothing on the website, but vacuous videos demonstrating how good you and your girlfriend will look on rugged terrain wearing your pack with Opti-Fit technology.

4. The North Face "lifetime guarantee" has turned into a "lifetime of the product" guarantee. A delightful bit of recursion which basically means "when we get tired of fixing it, you're out of luck".

Now some of this information may be on bulletin boards and retailers web sites (and in fact is, if you spend a half hour googling). And it's stuff you can figure out eventually, even if you don't have subscriptions to 7 outdoor magazines full of more lifestyle marketing. But why should you have to??

CONCLUSION:

The pack pretty good

The attitude stinks

this back pack first of all is simply amazing and highly customizible so no matter if you are 11 or 42 this back pack will fit with alittle ajusting and another thing is theres no problem with the waterbottle holder and no problem with the camelback area it is a great backpack to have for the price and it is also very cofortable and very durable so if you are contiplating on what backpack to buy this is the obvious choice i hope this review was helpful and enjoy your new terra 65 by tnf

Brenthaven 2071102 Expandable Trek Backpack for Notebooks / Ultrabook up to 15.6-Inch - Titanium

Brenthaven 2071102 Expandable Trek Backpack for Notebooks / Ultrabook up to 15.6-Inch - TitaniumThe Brenthaven Expandable Trek backpack seemed like a great backpack when I first got it: it has a nice padded computer sleeve built in for my MacBook; it has a nice expandable compartment that can hold my camera, a few books, and a lunch; it has all kinds of useful little pockets and features.

Until the zipper went out for the main compartment I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars for sure. But since the zipper went out its now nothing but a useless dud, so thus the 1-star rating. Bummer. And that was after very little use.

I contacted Brenthaven about having it repaired, and they've provided me a return authorization #, and asked me to ship the bag to them for repairs. Ok, I will, but it is an inconvenince, it costs money, and it takes time to get it fixed. It is something that should have never happened in what is billed as a quality product. After all, my Rick Steves cheapo backpack has gone through years of hard use with nary a problem, and it was only $15. Sigh.

UPDATE: I just received back 'my' backpack from Brenthaven, and I have to say that their customer service was superb. Not only was their turn-around time incredibly quick, they actually 'repaired' my bag by replacing it with the latest model. I'm impressed. I also noticed that the new version has much more rugged zippers, as well as a few new additional features. Way to go Brenthaven! Although the Amazon rating system doesn't allow for it, if I could I'd raise my rating to 4-stars based on Brenthaven's customer service(not 5-stars because I believe it shouldn't have failed to begin with).

I purchased this bag as a replacement to the Swiss Gear Laptop backpack which I had for 7 years or so. The old Swiss Gear had plenty of space and was very functional and when loaded up wore, well on my shoulders. I searched for a new bag for several weeks, checking pics, reading reviews, and shopping in brick and mortar stores as well as online with ebags, Amazon and company websites.

What I carry:

I typically travel with 1 to 2 laptops, power units, Ipod, Ipod charger, Ipod battery backup, Headset (over the ear) cell phone & charger, work files, a book or two to read and one or two magazines, Foreign Affairs or Dwell, etc...I usually have a small bottle of advil and cough drops handy, also business cards, and pens, glasses, sunglasses, and small calculator. Lately, i have been bringing a small hard drive, and all the additional cables you may want to use with a laptop, (USB, firewire, etc...).

Bag review: The total bag construction is solid, and lighter than my old Swiss Gear. The bag has a main compartment, small fleece lined pocket, second expandable compartment, outside back lower compartment, 2 vertical zipper pockets (small), two outside zipper pockets on either side of the bag, and a small Ipod pocket on the top neckside of the bag.

Main compartment storage-> There are plenty of pockets to store all the little stuff in the main compartment but I wish the small compartments were mesh, so you could see everything, and also had a velcro closer so things do not spill out when the bag is thrown around in an airline cabin. This is also where you would store small files and books. The main compartment zipper opening is adequate, but the opening could be larger. The laptop protection sleeve is here and is superior to the Swiss Gear.

The small fleece lined zippered pocket is adequate but the real advantage here is the quick access. I wish it was 10% to 20% bigger. The second deep compartment is expandable. I use it for magazines, glass cases, small books, etc...It is useful and has good zipper access. The outside back lower compartment is where all your pens, calculator, cough drops, house keys, garage door remote ( i never leave mine in the car at the airport), business cards, and other small stuff go. I have adapted to using this very well and so will anyone.

There two vertical zippers pockets on either side of the lower back compartment and i have found useful for segmenting the Ipod cables and computer cables i always carry. The two left and right outside zipperd pockets are just large enough for the two computer power units. The two mesh water bottles on each of these are worthless and Brenthaven needs to re-design these. The small Ipod pocket on the top inside ( up by your neck area, where your back meets the pack) is a nice addition and you can run the small ear buds directly out of it to your ears while you hike or walk with the bag ( i do not use it but it is a nice feature for some).

I really like the way this pack wears on my shoulders and back. It has excellent ergonomics and is very comfortable when loaded down. I am 6' 1", 187lbs and simply do not feel sore after wearing this bag loaded down for some time. Overall this is a solid performing bag and hope to get years of use from it. The titanium and black color combination looks good too, it is a cross between business casual and urban survival.

This is the second Brenthaven Trek backpack I purchased. The first was for my personal Mac Book. When it came time to purchase one for my work laptop it just seemed logical. It has storage galore. Plenty of little pockets for storing flash drives, mice, accessories and power supplies. In fact, when going on vacation I pack both my work and personal computer in one bag. There is plenty of room for both PLUS everything else and it fits nicely on the plane under the seat.

This is an excellent backpack--it is very sturdy and well-built. I carry a huge book load to and from medical school and this backpack easily handles the 50+ pounds. The computer storage is safe and well-padded. The shoulder straps are very sturdy and very comfortable even with heavy weights. Zippers are all high quality. I would strongly recommend this backpack over pretty much anything I have ever had/seen before.

I use this BP everyday in the field doing maintenance on wireless cell sites which includes working on Catalina Island.

The need for a BP that was:

Strong enough to hold all my items

Plenty of extra pockets for small test eq. items, misc. hand tools

Dependable top handle to use for hoisting the bag up ladders etc.

Professional looking too

So far I have had great success with this BP.

Items for concern are:

Too small of an opening for the front pocket. Needs to have a larger diameter.

Top pouch to be a little deeper.

Side mesh pockets to be taller and more flexible but still have a firm grip on water bottels, meters etc.

Ogio Operative Laptop/Tablet BackpackReplaced the backpack my office provided me for my laptop. I can carry (if needed) two laptops in here without much problem. I have had no issues with the quality of this pack, it has stood up to my abuse pretty well. Lots of storage, not bulky, perfect for me!

I have fit inside the pack at one time :

Dell Latitude E5430

Dell Inspiron 13z

iPad mini

random chargers and some other stuff

The areas for the ipad and notebook are well protected. I bought this to replace my Tumi hand carry laptop bag it is very nice for the plane. The sunglasses pocket could be bigger and is hard to get them in and out of.

I haven't used my backpack yet but I did make sure, upon receiving it, that it will accommodate my HP Pavilion G7. It seems like a well-made pack with several cushioned pockets for phones, tablets, mp3s, etc. I look forward to using it this fall!

Very happy with it. The only detraction is the lack of internal pickets for easy access to cables, power supplies, etc. I needed to use a separate soft caddy for those items, but the pack was more than roomy enough to accommodate it.

I have come to love Ogio bags after getting one on sale and one for my wife. I have the Flux bag and just wanted more padding in the main compartment and space to put my computer stuff and books. The flux has great shoulder straps with that strap across your neck so you carry it and don't really notice it there unlike most bags with two plain straps you can feel the bag hanging and tugging on your back...

Pros:

Bag has firm back padding and nice neck and shoulder straps. It feels like the Flux improved. When you fill it up and tighten the straps you don't feel this bag on your bag, great for traveling or students.

I love the quality and color of the bag, nice pockets for your stuff and nice padding materials in all areas of the bag.

Fits my 15.4 inch Dell Laptop with the num pad on the keyboard, says fits a 17 inch haven't tried but this is a longer 15 inch laptop so it might...

Cons:

If I have to give one, compared to the Flux the more compartments take a little space away from the pocket for your cables and the main compartment but you get much better protection and padding for what the bag is carrying so it's a win loose not a complaint...

Olympia Luggage Sports Plus 19 Inch Rolling Backpack

Olympia Luggage Sports Plus 19 Inch Rolling Backpack, Red, One SizeI purchased this for my daughter who is in the 5th grade. It was to replace her more traditional backpack. She has to carry so much that the weight was causing her back pain. So far, the Olympia rolling backpack is working well. I am giving this review 4 stars only because I am a little concerned about the material/feel of the backpack. I am concerned it may not hold up long term. However, I'd love to be proven wrong! The pop up handle is great. There is A LOT of storage space, which is not truly represented in the photo. Wheels are working properly thus far.

Overall, it's worth the $31.95. ($24.00 out of pocket with remaining Amazon gift cards balance earned from Swagbucks! :D )

Ordered April 9th. Delivered April 16th. It was not eligible for Prime shipping. I would have been happier to receive it sooner. In short, this is a good product, and worth the purchase. I will update at a later date, because my daughter has only been using it for about a month now.

Ok...I can't believe tthat after only one week this backpack has already ripped! This costs too much for it to be so flimsly.

This item was used for 5 months and the bottom is broken. It will not last the school year. I am switching to my daughter's brand High Sierrafor my son. Seems better made and is holding up fine. They didn't have in red, which is why I went with Olympia for my son, plus was 20 cheaper. Now I am having to replace it completely. Just spend the extra 25 to get High Sierra and you won't be sorry. He picked black now and all is well!

Wish the description was better and had noted that the lining has flowers on it. My son was not impressed.

It serves it purpose: carrying stuff elegantly.

However, the straps broke about 6 weeks after receiving it and the zipper lining wears the fabric really fast.

Not that my strap is broken I only use it as a rolling bag, but it is still ok.

It is really taking a beating, since I am deployed overseas and carry it everywhere. I have owned it for over 7 months and I would definitely buy from this manufacturer and vendor. I ordered one from another vendor and they sent me purple, correct size and all, but my order form was for blue!! I can't remember who the are, or I would tell you.
