I got this pack because I thought it was similar to the Ariel but in better colors and had pockets on the hip belt (for camera, chapstick, pepperspray), turns out the fit was different enough through the shoulders for me, I had to send it back. I'm an hourglass shape and 5'4" so I'm broad through the shoulders and find that many packs rub my shoulder blades. And the 'eggplant purple' coloring is way off, it's a burgundyI really wanted the purple shown in the picture! Color was not even close in my opinion (looks really purple in photo) I think a color blind man wrote the description. I would call in Wine red...nice back pack over all. you can totally customize the fit love that!

My 1 year old loves her froggie backpack. It's cute and just the right size for her. Unfortunately the handle doesn't stay in the open position so it's constantly sliding closed when she tries to carry it along with her. I was very excited about getting this at first-until I actually received it. I have had it for about two months now. The front pockets have literally separated from the seams, and I don't even put anything in them. The backpack is significantly smaller than I had expected, and hardly carries a notebook and a textbook. I had to put knots in the straps for them to be able to hold. The hardware is extremely chinsy. The hardware on the straps is bent and twisted. I am now not even halfway through the semester and I need to find a new backpack and wait to get it. If all you plan on carrying is a calculator and a pen, this is perfect for you. If you actually take stuff to school, find another option.

too small for today's HS school books. We had to return it. In the calculations we thought it was bigger but once it came in the calculations given add up space of the side pockets making it looked like it is bigger in the inside.I am a college student and I have just bought this a week ago. This bag gave me no problems yet and it is able to carry lot of my school books, including my tablet. I haven't experienced any ripping or tearing that other people had with this bag. I ordered this backpack for my 13yo. She loves it. Backpack seems well made and durable. Looks to be able to handle all her school stuff with no problems. I don't know how the one person on here could hate this backpack. Perhaps they received a lemon, I don't know. But this thing is extremely high quality. The padding for the laptop sleeve is very good and the sleeve itself easily holds my 15 inch work laptop (don't think it will hold more, but that's what it's rated for anyway). It has padded shoulder straps, padded carrying handle, and seemingly durable nylon exterior.The main pocket is big enough for my needs. It isn't huge by any means (you will need something else for a weekend trip, etc.), but I wanted a backpack that was just big enough so this fit the bill perfectly. The 2 side pockets are nice for easy access to power cords, accessories, snacks, etc.
For the price I paid ($8), you will not find another backpack at nearly this quality. Snap it up while you can!

There is plenty of room for my laptop, charger, et al. The side pockets are great for cellphones and the like. The fourth pocket on the back is perfect for reports, proposals, etc. I use this instead of a briefcase when I have much walking to do. Very comfortable either full or empty. The two belts are not with the same lengths which makes it really uncomfortable for me to carry.However, I didn't find this flaw though I always feel something wired when I carry it. Now I know the reason but I can't return it. What's more, It is so simple and common and its quality is not good, neither with its design.I think there is no reason for me to recommend this product.

I purchased this bag on a whim over 5 years ago at some small shop in NYC for around the same price of $20 or so.Admittedly, I ended up throwing it out because of a large rip that recently (read: After 5 years of constant use) appeared on the side and nearly every zipper was busted but nevertheless I feel this bag needs to be redeemed.
The dark blue bag I bought had a neutral but casual style (which seems to be falling out of favor for more business like bags) that made it easy for me to grab it for just about any occasion.
It also came with tons of pockets in convenient places. My favorite being the pocket in the back of the bag where I could store and easily access my more important belongings like my cell phone and wallet, as well as, a pocket on the inner back side of the back where I could hide away more personal belongings.
It's size was perfect enough to fill up to the brim without it becoming bulky or cumbersome.
Speaking of filling it up, I'm quite proud to mention that I was (barely) able to shove a 15.3" laptop in there. Of course, I wouldn't recommend this since it's NOT A LAPTOP BAG and your laptop would have little to no protection to anything the bag bumps against.
All in all, this is a good bag to use carry around a few books, textbooks, knick-knacks or whatever else you can't fit in a purse. So don't try putting a million history books in this bag because it will most likely tear apart.
The only thing I didn't like about this bag was that the zippers did fail rather quickly. Not that it made the bag any less usable.

I really, really wanted this backpack to work, since I had been searching.... A lot. This is a great, great messenger bag, but doubling as a backpack it is really awkward to put on with the way the straps work.Here are the pros:
The leather is beautiful.
The quality of the bag is great.
Its nice looking on.
Here is the only con for me:
The straps are awkward. Every time I tried to put the backpack on (in backpack mode) I would have to really wiggle around and try to get the straps right, and straight. What I learned is if the top straps are not attached to the pack for a backpack and are not stable and not directly connected to the pack then it is really hard to put the backpack on.
If you look at the image of the backpack closely you will notice that the bag can be either a messenger bag or a backpack. Its great as a messenger bag, but I really want a backpack.
There was nothing wrong with backpack, but I now understand that the straps need to be attached to the top of the bag so that it is stable for putting it on.

Before I purchased this bag, I read reviews all over the web, including on Sak's website. It didn't get the best reviews, but I was extremely attracted to the color and versatility of the bag. When I received it, it was as I expected. It isn't top quality leather, but I looked closely enough at it online to see what the texture would be. I purchased a different bag for $250 at another store, which was supposed to be leather, and I think the quality of this leather is nicer. I returned the other one and kept this Sak bag.The camel color is rich, and I do find it works great as a messenger (although I am 5' 2" it hits me right at the hip) and also a back pack. I had read that the loops slip when you wear it, but I haven't experienced that yet. The main compartment is rather small, but based on its dimensions I didn't expect to be able to fit anything more than an iPad and other essentials.
I haven't had it for very long a few weeks so I can't speak to its longevity, but I feel it was worth the price I paid and will get a lot of use out of it.

I can no longer imagine carrying a purse. For any non-formal event, this is a far better solution. And if you're somewhere like an art museum where you can't wear a backpack, the conversion is the work of a moment.

After almost 2 years of daily use, it occurred to me that this bag has held up incredibly well, and I just had to come here and give my two cents.The design is simple; the laptop sleeve sits in the main pocket. There are two zipper pockets on the front, and that's it. The laptop sleeve is well-cushioned, and a velcro strap keeps my laptop from falling out when the bag is open. My laptop is only a 15", but I'm happy for the extra room the large size gives me. It holds a surprising amount of my junk, without being bulky or awkward.
I really have given this bag a beating. I've stuffed it to the limit and thrown it around plenty. Still, there are no frayed edges or loose threads. Everything is holding firm, and it's clear to me that I'll be using this bag for a long long time.

I love this laptop sleeve. It fits around my 13 inch mac perfectly. I keeps it from getting scratched and dirty while it is in my bag. It also soft to the touch both on the outside and in. It has a foamy feel to it. The flap that that closes the sleeve doesn't latch, but it still keeps the laptop safe from falling out. The only thing that I was worried about was the size. At first it appeared too small, but once I tried to put the computer in it, it fit perfectly.

I purchased this for my daughter who is in the 5th grade. It was to replace her more traditional backpack. She has to carry so much that the weight was causing her back pain. So far, the Olympia rolling backpack is working well. I am giving this review 4 stars only because I am a little concerned about the material/feel of the backpack. I am concerned it may not hold up long term. However, I'd love to be proven wrong! The pop up handle is great. There is A LOT of storage space, which is not truly represented in the photo. It serves it purpose: carrying stuff elegantly.However, the straps broke about 6 weeks after receiving it and the zipper lining wears the fabric really fast.
Not that my strap is broken I only use it as a rolling bag, but it is still ok.

My son received the SuperMe backpack for Christmas and it was an instant hit! At 3 1/2, he is in a MAJOR superhero phase right now and I love the idea of feeding his interest without swathing my preschooler in Spiderman branding. He loves the bright colors and couldn't WAIT to show off the cape at school. In fact, his backpack was his first show and tell item. If anything has become a commodity, it is the humble daypack. But with dozens to choose from, even down here in far flung Tasmania, I couldn't go pass the features of this pack which is not available locally. So I waited anxiously for my order to be filled, hoping it would survive the long trip down under. I needn't have worried. Within 2 weeks my pack arrived in perfect condition. I am not disappointed.First of all the workmanship is perfect. Every zipper is cleanly sewn and all the stitching is pretty much flawless. The materials all appear to be first rate to my inexpert eyes. I wasn't aware when I ordered that Osprey offer an unconditional lifetime guarantee, so I'm pleased to think this purchase could be a sound investment.
I've already had this pack out in the field at least 8 or 9 times and it has proven to be comfortable and well balanced. Everything seems to be in pretty much the right place for me. I love the way the compression and adjustment straps all fall within reach. I like to constantly fine-tune the load between waist and shoulders (there's lots of steep up-and-down, boulder hopping and often bit of scrambling here in Tas). This pack is easy to adjust on the run.
I'm delighted with the product and the value. And, kudos to Amazon for (once again) great service and best price.

This pack is excellent for warm-weather hiking because it curves away from your back and allows air to flow between the pack and your body. Even in cooler weather, you want moisture to dissipate as much as possible. I wish it had an external pouch or pocket to store a notebook or other small items, but otherwise, it is well-laid out. It may be a bit smaller than advertised, but the curved shape may contribute to the interior volume being less efficient than an equivalent volume rectangle book pack-style pack. This is a great pack at a reasonable price. Many awesome features that other mfrs may have forgotten or ignored. Quite a step up from my old daypack that it replaces. Will get the Osprey hydration bladder to go with it next. Not a full-on complaint exactly, but something I would have preferred: the shoulder straps are not the same color fabric as the body of backpack. They are a lighter shade. Maybe this was the intended style choice, but kind of reminds me of a patchwork deal.Oh, word to the wise, make sure you check Osprey's sizing guide BEFORE you buy! A proper fit can make a world of difference.
Sumo 12" Nylon Sleeve
I've been struggling to find a good sleeve for an Acer Aspire 751 (netbook with an odd-sized screen). This is the perfect width, but a bit too deep, even with an extended battery fitted. Anyhow, it is a good compromise and better than anything else I've found. Only gets 4 stars since it's a bit 'puffy' and you end up with a very fat, but nicely protected, laptop. If the flap was made out of a thinner material, it would have got 5 stars, but as it is the top is very, very fat because you get three layers of puffyness (front of the sleeve, back of the sleeve, and the puffy flap). Still recommended though. Edit: there is a rectangular padded strip just inside the top and if you fold this inwards as far as possible the closed sleeve is quite a bit thinner so now I'm very happy (have changed it to 5 stars).

This is a great laptop sleeve. While a little bulky, it keeps my laptop nice and cozy, and protects it well with thick lining. High Sierra A.T. Ultimate Access Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps Blue Yonder/Tungsten/Black
My boyfriend was traveling to Greece this summer and needed a bag. I searched high and low for one with all the features I was looking for... Wheels, backpack straps, and a handle. This bag was the one with everything and it was the most economically priced. He loved it and I'm really glad I ot it! It arrived when the seller said it would and was in excellent condition.
The front pocket is ideal for smaller things that aren't breakable. The zippers and zips are of excellent workmanship and are some of the strongest I have seen and consider they will last for a long time with proper care. The actual zippers are made from some type of strong metal that is designed with hard wear and tear in mind and I really liked this as when you inspect the bag you can tell there has been high attention to detail. All the zippers can be locked and being so strong and well-designed I consider they would deter most would be thieves if locked securely with proper travel locks.
The material is very light weight yet durable and the colour looks really good. The material will cope with all types of weather conditions and could be easily cleaned if needed. The main compartment is made with durable material that should last a while if cared for correctly. The wheels are strong and the back straps are well designed and I think it would be easy to carry a heavy load. The telescopic handle feels solid and I don't see them breaking though in comparison to Paklite bags the telescopic handle isn't as solid and I think High Sierra could do have done better but this isn't a major issue.
The duffle carry straps are made from sturdy velcro material and grip well/easily together and I think the velcro should wear well. Overall I chose this bag because it is quality and that is simply put. When you compare this bag to an Antler duffle bag you may think it doesn't compete but it does for sure. This bag comes with a 5 year warranty and the Antler includes a 5 or 10 year warranty but to buy an Antler would cost about $130.00 or more Australian dollars so I think they compare well.
I also compared this bag to a Paklite wheeled duffle (origin and adventure) that included about 70 litres of space but that bag had pieces of material/webbing on the outside I think would get easily damaged in flight and the frame was also narrower. I consider if you travelled with the High Sierra AT2500 26" Wheeled Duffle with Backstraps you wouldn't have any problems.I got this bag because I was traveling a lot with the whole Wounded Warrior thing, and do not get around like I used to. This has provided me with a bag large enough to hold all my clothes and other items that I was living with while hospitalized. When I traveled in the airport, this allowed me to easily roll along for great distance with my limited mobility. I have had the bag for four months, and would like to say, "it does everything it is supposed to and does it very well." If you need a durable, versatile, and well made duffle bag then this is a good choice.I used this bag for my checked luggage from Tennessee to Australia. It held up well and was very spacious. I would recommend it.I've taken it on all my travels since purchasing. It is strong, durable, and the 3 different ways to use it are great!!! (backpack, wheels, handle)

Just got this bag and it was everything I had hoped for. It is a bit on the small side so if you are looking to cram a lot in buy something else. I wanted something smaller for my frame and do not carry much more than my laptop so it works great. I am able to fit my 13" macbook, a notebook and a 1" binder comfortably in the main pouch with a little room to spare and have plenty of room for pens, wallet, keys etc. in the other smaller compartments. It seems to be very durable but I haven't had it very long. Like a previous review mentioned it is definitely not black but more of a very dark grey and it came with two additional straps (purple and light grey) if you do not like the green. Osprey also has unique round zipper pulls which I find fun.

I felt I was leaving behind the 'backpack' stage of my life, and wanted something different for work. I use a 13" MBP, and this bag is perfect and roomy enough for the laptop, various other small electronics (iPad mini) and cables, cosmetics, AND a small purse. In fact, the only drawback to this bag is that it's so very well designed, with so many convenient and high-utility compartments, that it's easy to overload it to the point that the strap digs into your shoulder uncomfortably.
