Hello Kitty Small Backpack
Cute as heck. Just right for kindergarten aged daughter. She loves it so I do too. Worth every penny. The rest of my comments are filling space.
However... THIS ITEM IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL SCHOOL MATERIAL. I can fit the bendy folder by tucking in the corners. I can fit the lunchbox and a sweater in behind the folder. I can fit a snack in the side pocket and a few accessories in the front pocket. I cannot fit a regular-sized stiff binder or a large book and your child is bound to be asked to carry one at some point. The backpack simply does not have enough height and the corners are too rounded for the zipper to close around those objects. For this I'm docking only one point because my planning is at fault as much as the description is unhelpful but I do wish I'd known this beforehand. So here's the heads-up for parents of kids who actually go to school: It's a very nice backpack but there's a good chance that it's not going to work for you as more than a toy.
Edit: I'm eating my words at the beginning of this review. Docked one more point for durability because the backpack's fabric is showing signs of wear similar to laddering... I can almost see daylight through the folds and creases on the bottom. My kid is not rough on her stuff, this is the consequence of normal use for half a year.

5.11 Rush 72 Back Pack
I'm an Army officer and this is one of the best packs on the market. It works as an all-purpose, large capacity travel bag and a rough tactical 3-day pack. The build quality is the best out there (1050 denier, stronger than 1650) with sturdy zippers. The multitude of zippered, mesh storage on the inside is GREAT. The cherry on top is its low profile when it's not filled. If you are only carrying a few things the bag stays thin and doesn't look like you are going camping at Starbucks.
Now to the review. I have a CamelBak BFM 100oz Black that I have used for camping, a Bug Out Bag, traveling, and for military use. It's comfortable to wear, even with a heavy load of about 35 lbs, assembled in the USA, and made of Cordura, so why buy the RUSH 72? I was curious about it and I wanted to return the BFM to it's original role as a BOB.
So for this review I want to compare the two, so shoppers can understand the similarities and differences between them. So first they both are about the same size about 48L to 51L depending on what advertisement you use, but the RUSH 72 is a little taller. They both are well organized, and both have water repellant capabilities. Now let's look at the differences.
Pleae note, these are tactical backpacks so they are not good at holding books, folders, or computers, though they can do it of course.
The BFM 500:
It's assembled in USA, where as the RUSH is made in Vietnam. Camelbak uses Corudra, and 5.11 Tactical uses standard nylon. They both have outer pockets to hold MREs, Water bottles etc. but the BFM's stick out to the side, while the RUSH 72 are sleeker, going into the pack itself. I personally like the Camelbak's version better. It's easier to insert something in them, and they don't take up pack space. On the other hand the RUSH 72 it's difficult to insert something like an MRE, only cylinder shaped things like bottles fit well. Also, the BFM comes with a water bladder.
The RUSH 72:
It's function and capabilities are similar to the BFM. The BFM has better material, and a lot better craftsmanship (The RUSH 72 has some loose thread, and after seven weeks of use, shows signs of loosening. The Camelbak's threading holds much better in place.) Now, the RUSH 72 has a yoke for the shoulder straps which takes getting use too. In fact the RUSH 72 has a learning curve. You have to get comfortable with the feel of the yoke, and depending on your frame you may have to get used to the feel of the tucked away waist belt poking into your sides. After a while you don't notice them anymore. One thing I like though in the main compartment is that the RUSH 72 has a pocket for holding a laptop computer, or radio. The BFM uses straps instead. One thing I don't really like is the RUSH's spill over compartment. If you have a helmet or something it's good to have, but in daily use it just gets in the way. You have to use all the buckles to hold it down, or it will flop open. This also means it's slower to open, close, and keep stable. It's hard to describe but look at a picture of the RUSH and you'll understand. My solution was to have some Velcro attached to hold it tighter in place.
What's the same?
The water repellant material on both packs works well, but I might have to give the nod to the RUSH. Both packs have been in rain storms, but I would say, using anecdotal evidence the RUSH 72 kept my belongings more dry. Both packs have a rear top pocket. On the BFM it's big enough for gloves, night vision equipment, etc. but it has no mesh compartments for small items. On the other hand the RUSH's top compartment is so small it's useless for gloves, and such items. However it has mesh pockets for holding small items. If only the best of both packs were used to make a big rear top pocket with a nice mesh pocket.
The Verdict
It depends on what you want. For quality it's Camlebak. For military application I like the BFM better actually. The outside pockets hold bulky items better, and the rear top compartment is big and useful. For my civilian travels I like the RUSH 72 better. The inside radio/laptop pocket holds my computer well, and keep it dry, and the rear top pocket with mesh is good for holding my iPod, and other miscellaneous items. The fleece lined eye glass holder is okay, but becomes near useless if the main compartment is full.
Update
Well it's been about a year since I got the RUSH. I've recently replaced it with a RAPDOM Rapid 96 Hour backpack.
The RUSH has held up well even with the loose threading. After about seven months I could stop burning off unraveling thread. Having said that it doesn't look new. The right side pocket zipper pull came off, but that's no big deal. The nylon has held up well, but you see the dirt marks that are left over even after cleaning, and the uneven tone of the bag from being exposed to lots of rain, snow, mud, and sunshine. I used it a lot. So why did I replace it? One It's not comfortable to don/doff. The straps easily get twisted up when putting it on, and they snag on something coming off.One of my coats lost a button because of this. Also, the spill over pouch and the admin section only work well when the bag is loaded down. Otherwise the weight in the admin pouch will pull the back section of the bag down, making it sag. However I'm using it as a bug out bag now, and it works fine in that regard. There's enough bulk in the main cargo area to make the admin pouch and spillover pouch stay in place, and the extra pockets come in handy. Really the RUSH 72 unlike the RAPDOM and Camelbak BFM can't be comfortably worn unless it is loaded down to keep the rear section from sagging.

Purchased this for an upcoming deployment (fourth OIF/OEF tour), so I knew what I was looking for, and this pack is it. Picking out the right ruck and getting it "right-sized" is difficult; too large and you're dragging around a piece of luggage; too small and you're tying gear to the outside, snagging it on everything. Quality was important to me as well & 5.11 has a very good reputation.PROS:

This bag was worth every penny. I'm USAF Security Forces, and after my last bag (MOLLE 3 Day Military Assault Pack Backpack OD Green) fell apart during my deployment, I decided it was time to look into the names of companies I knew about. That brought me to 5.11, and eventually the 72 pack. I take between 40 and 70 pounds of gear to work everyday, so I need a bag that can withstand punishment, and give me peace of mind knowing that it's not gonna break and send my gear everywhere. After I received the bag, I filled it up, and I still have room for more gear. The nylon feels tough as nails, the handle on the top of the bag feels as strong as they 5.11 claims (2,000 pound breaking point), and it is THE most comfortable bag I have ever carried. Even with my flak vest and LBE on, this bag is still comfortable enough to make me feel like I could ruck for days. The only downside I've come to notice is the tendency for the bag to want to tip forward when I put it on the ground. Everki Commute 18.4-Inch Laptop Sleeve with Memory Foam (EKF808S18)
I was bummed when I could not fit my R3 inside the sleeve. So just because I can't fit my laptop inside I'm not going to give this great product a bad review, which makes no sense to me. So outside of that this is an awesome laptop sleeve and I will use it for my 15" laptop instead. The bag has a nice size compartment for paper work or other flat items you may carry. The inside of the bag for the laptop storage is plush and feels really smooth. The memory foam compresses once you squeeze it and once the pressure is off it returns to its original form. If you utilize the handles inside the sleeve to carry your laptop around using the sleeve as your bag you will not be able to close it completely due to the handles being stitched inside the bag, but inside the bag on the rear side there is a scrap with velcro on it that you pull out and place it on the velcro between the pocket to give it look of being completely sealed off. The handles can be tuck inside the bag and completely zipped close then placed inside a backpack or in a suit case. The outside of the bag is nice too and it seems like it would be able to take a spill or a little rain if you are briefly caught in a rain shower. So now I need to go back to Everki website to see if they a have a 18 or 19 inch laptop sleeve. I hope my review was helpful, but my main purpose was to warn R3 user and others who may have a slightly larger 17 inch laptop.

The Commute is a pretty good laptop sleeve. Overall, I am happy with it. I expected a little more padding and protection from the memory foam. Be aware that the memory foam is very thin and does not offer much more protection than a typical neoprene-only sleeve. I use it to slide down into a backpack or laptop bag to offer a little more protection and it is perfect for that. The handles are a nice addition and make it a little more safe to carry by itself. I gave it the 3 star rating simply because I expected the memory foam to be much thicker and offer more padding. Overall, I might buy it again, but not if I planned on carrying it around in the sleeve only. I bought this for my beastly computer and you know what! It fits! I've been using this backpack for almost 2 months now. Since I'm a college student, it gets daily use and it's held up perfectly well. I hardly ever use the back pocket since I don't usually carry my laptop around, but it is able to fit my large 15" laptop without trouble. The middle pocket can hold all my books and materials easily, and I like the mini pockets and pen holders inside.The only complaint I have is that when I received the backpack the thread on part of one shoulder strap was poorly stitched and coming undone. I stitched it up and it's fine.
Overall, it's a sturdy, well-made backpack. I'd definitely recommend it. Even though it's smaller than my last backpack, I love it more because of the color. So if you like purple too, then get this pack. I looked at all the other packs out there, and this is probably your best option. ;)

This set of luggage looks good when it first arrives. It is not a 5 piece set it is a 4 piece set with a toiletry bag, I couldn't consider it a piece of luggage. The issue I had originally was the right dimensions weren't posted anywhere on-line that I could find. 30"x18"x12" are the approximate exterior dimensions of the 28" upright and 21.5"x14"x8" for the 20" upright. Even the dimensions on the card that comes with the bag are off. I own a few other IZOD products, primarily clothes, and they are decent quality. These bags are a big let down.There are 2 big design flaws that make them what I would consider bad quality; the wheels and the stitching.
The wheels on the 28"expandable upright have started to flare out to the side and don't roll particularly well. Someone else mentioned how they shredded off of there bag and with what I have seen I would not doubt it.
The stitching is my big problem though. The expandable material (which is very thin) tore open on the bottom side of the bag. Not a huge problem because I could close the zipper and it would still hold the bag shut. However when it tore the stitching started to come unraveled, the stitching the holds the compartment zipper to the expansion zipper. This was a huge deal for me. I had to fly from Hawaii to Kansas City through Seattle and the whole time I was worrying if my bag would make it through without ripping open. In order to reinforce it I used about 20 safety pins and 3 luggage straps. This was the return trip from my first trip with these bags. I only took 2 of them (the non-duffels) and only one seemed to hold up well.
If IZOD fixed the stitching and the wheels they would be great bags. The material itself is pretty durable, they look nice and they are sized for airline travel. Even if the aren't made well enough for it right now.
The reason I am giving these bag a 2 star instead of a 1 star is that the bags still hold items and only one of the two I used got damaged. I can still use these for roads trips/vacations but I will not be checking any of these bags at the airport again, they just are not sturdy enough for it.
The tag that came on the bags says it has a 3 year warranty so I will e-mail IZOD and see what they can do to mend this problem.
I would not recommend this set to anyone unless they are using it for road trips AND they plan to be very gentle with the bags. Anything else and they will likely let you down in a huge way.

Got this purse a few weeks ago and used it for 3 or 4 days. Very soft patched leather. I need it for short outings with my toddlers so I can have both hands free. This works out perfectly.
