Bakugan Battle Brawlers Backpack Travel School with Secret Storage Back Pack

Bakugan Battle Brawlers Backpack Travel School with Secret Storage Back PackFor the money I was very happy with this backpack. My grandson promptly put it on and wore it the rest of the day. Seems very sturdy and well made.

Very nice and sturdy backpack. Great for the price. The secret pocket doesnt really hold anything since it leads into the black and red part so things could fall out easily. But my son enjoys it overall.

Victorinox Spectra 29 Upright Suitcase

Victorinox Spectra P29 Upright Suitcase, Black Prism, One SizeLuggage is excellent in terms of lightness and use when loaded to 20 kg. I bought this luggage as I needed something lightweight when travelling with low cost airlines in Asia. I was able to meet the baggage weight limit with a lot of things. The only problem was luggage scratched easily. Also the grease on some airlines conveyer belt at the edges got on it. Simple soap and water removed it. To prevent further scratches I had to use the airport wrappers i.e plastic clear wrap at $10 in Bali and $3 in Malaysia. Prices vary at different airports. But once wrapped the luggage is ideal for travel.

Brought this suitcase for a trip to Europe , When we are arrived at our first destination after a long flight. the lock mechanism was broken, on further investigation we found that the screws were stripped out at the back no one had tampered with the case. As we had just started our 6 week trip we had to leave the case behind and purchased a new case not the same brand. In the past we have used only this brand but after this incident I wouldn't buy another Victorinox suitcase

Spend your money elsewhere. The company does not stand by their warranty. On the 3rd trip with this bag, I got the bag back from baggage claim with a dent in the upper corner and a 6 inch split that radiated out from the dent. I sent pictures to the company asking them to warranty the bag which is less than a year old. The informed me "the warranty does not cover damage caused by the airlines". Isn't that where most of the damage to bags comes from? Isn't that the wear and tear you design luggage to withstand??? Bottom line their "100% pure Bayer polycarbonate" is not durable and will not last. You will be purchasing a very expensive "disposable" bag if you buy this. I will spend my $$$ elsewhere.

Very light and easy to maneuver, but after one trip there are a lot of scuffs. The damage seems to be cosmetic but the case looks old after one use. For me the looks matter less than the lightness and ease of use so I kept it and will use it despite this drawback

One of the 8 wheels went missing within the first 6 months. Scuffs really easily, but easy to clean. It is very light-weight

Fleurville Kids Messenger

Fleurville Kids Messenger, BlackI purchased two of these messenger bags for my kids1st grader and a 3rd grader. I was attracted to the non-trendy look of these bags, the eco friendliness and, seemingly the size'kid size to 10years' and the option to turn from side strap, hand carry and to a back pack.

Upon receipt, the bag looked nice but quite honestly, was waaaaay too small inside. I was only able to put a 3 ring binder in it with 0 clearance for other items. The fit was extremely snug. The size was proportionate to the kids size but as far as functionality, a big zero. In this day in age, with children bringing home projects, books, endless papersno way would this have serviced our needsplus the lunch bag that was included would by any means fit inside once packed with a lunch. Again, nice look, nice idea but not efficient for school kids.

Regarding the size, but I personally consider it a plus. It makes sure they don't overstuff it and hurt their growing young backs. Even now, the end of year, they had everything stuffed in them (all books/homework/extras) to bring home, and it was great! It was no problem to just carry the lunch bags (another plus--the lunch bags are the perfect size!)

I also am hugely thrilled with the eco-friendly aspect--huge plus for me! My kids (3rd grade/girl and 2nd/boy) have used it for three years now, and I am just now replacing it because some of the clasps were broken off (slammed in the car door during carpool, not quality). I considered using them for one more year (the actual backpacks are completely in tact--seams and all, even with all the abuse this age can dish out--and, did I mention, I have a SON!!), but I thought I would get them something new finally. It is very difficult because they still look perfect.

Our nettings have held up this whole time until last part of this year my son hooked one of the pencils on something and ripped it.

I love these bags and will continue to seek out this company. The price is higher than, say Target, Wal-mart, etc., but the quality/chemical-free features are completely worth it.

i intended to give this to my eight year old for christmas to use for school like some people claimed. the size was ok but the material was so thin i doubt it would last more than a couple of months of regular use. i know it was not expensive but the same money buys a decent canvas/cotton messenger bag at the local military store. i am thankful that the return went smooth.

My daughter was thrilled to get this backpack as a back-to-school gift in late summer and now half way through second grade, it's served her well so far. It's very well made, attractive, and includes a lunch sack. Bright and cute! It is a little softer than a typical backpack, but that does not detract from usability.

My daugher can easily wear it as a backpack or a messenger bag as it was intended. At age 7, she's able to make the quick adjustments herself based on what she wants to carry over one shoulder or over both.

It easily holds a couple of folders, 2 workbooks, lunch (in the provided lunch sack), her mittens, a hat, water bottle, afternoon snack and two elementary-level library books easily. Would not hold say two-three text books with these other items, but could hold just three large texts alone without the rest. My daugher has also stuffed a sweatshirt or cardigan inside during those cooler/warmer days of fall pretty easily (non-mitten/hat-wearing season).

Perfect for a kindergarten to fourth grade student! If a kid needs to carry more than this by age 9, then it's too much as boys and girls this age should not carry more than 15% of their body weight, which is up to 10-11 pounds in most cases.

Would highly recommend to friends and other kids for sure!!

I bought this bag for my son and was slightly reluctant because of the reviews stating the size was too small. It was a great price, so I ordered it anyway. My son started 2nd grade and was happy to take this bag with him. He carries a regular sized folder for all his work and papers and also carries at least 1 small library book with him. It's the perfect size for his standard folder.

The quality is great and I think it has a nice appearance. It was fun for us to look up what nations the different flags belonged to. I started it out as the backpack style, but he also likes to carry it messenger style. It's nice that it's versatile.

I think it will definitely hold up to some abuse and make it through the entire school year easily. I'm really happy that I purchased this bag even though I thought it would be too juvenile. It's a pefect fit for my 2nd grader!

Maxpedition Jumbo L.E.O. Versipack

Maxpedition Jumbo L.E.O. VersipackI purchased this bag because I finished school but still needed something just to carry my laptop and other small items along with the Smith&Wesson. I chose the LEO over the EDC version only because I didn't really care for a water bottle holder. In this bag, I am fitting my MSI Wind, chargers with other notebook accessories, tissue, small medicine bottle, S&W M&P + spare mags, voice recorder, spare pocket knife, and using Grimlocs to attach keys and other items. It carries comfortably on the strong side. I don't regret buying this bag.

This is a 5-star product don't get me wrong. If I didn't already have the Fatboy version of this bag, I would probably love the Jumbo. But, in my opinion, and for my needs, the Fatboy rules.

I picked up the Jumbo LEO because I wanted a little bit more room than the Fatboy and also didn't need the water bottle slot of the regular Jumbo. The Fatboy is not a big bag and that's the main reason I picked up the Jumbo I had to know if it was worth it.

The Jumbo material is Maxpedition's lighter version not the crazy, stiff rugged material used in the Fatboy. So, while lighter, it's still more rugged than any other bag I own except the Fatboy. So, I'm spoiled and I now I prefer the thicker material.

I also prefer the following on the Fatboy if this helps you with your decision:

Drawstring closure. At first it annoyed me on the Fatboy, then I see what it's like without it on the Jumbo. I'd rather have it for keeping my stuff in and other stuff like sand, liquid, etc out.

Better organization all around really: maybe it's just that the stiffer material makes the organization slots more reliable;

Pen holders on the strap are simple but fantastic; and, not on the Jumbo.

Strap mini pocket holds a flashlight or multi tool better you don't feel like it would ever fall out of the Fatboy.

Back pocket is big enough for mobile or water bottle although not designed for either necessarily but it works.

Much more streamlined feel when you're wearing it that's most likely because it's a little smaller but also because the material is much stiffer.

So, they're both 5-star, excellent products and you can't go wrong. But, for my needs, I ended up passing on the Jumbo and opting for the smaller bag. As a side note, the Fatboy is absolutely the smallest I could imagine putting up with. If it were any smaller, I'd pass on it just big enough.

This bag is just as advertised. It the perfect size for day outings, including my trips to the Gun shows. Carrys water, snacks, ccw, magazines, pencil, pad and notebook. Very well made.

Got it in black to help hide the zippered compartments. It has a few mods from the regular jumbo bag. The bag is more suited for LEO and those who carry. The only gripes about the changes are the absence of the collar in the main compartment, contents can slip out the top as the cover leaves a gaping hole. I have a remedy for this using four snaps and a stuff bag which snaps into the main opening and is held in place by the four snaps. Then use the installed stuff sack as usual, this would give me that option of removing the stuff bag when security is not needed. Gave it four stars because of this.. other then that the waist belt is there in place of belt loops. Still a great bag that is versatile and easy to carry.. Update: I found a mesh bag with draw string closure that looked made to order. I fastened it with a brass screw post and washer to the drain hole in the bag. Works great and inner mesh bag can be deployed as needed..

I watched a lot of reviews of this product on youtube. Most of the videos were focused upon the regular Versipack. I purchased the LEO because it fits my needs much better. The construction of the bag is outstanding. The product is made of a good nylon. Most stitching is consistent and double stitched in places. Buckles are solid and will last for a long time. There is molle webbing on the back part of the sling and padding to the body side of the bag. The pockets are deep and are versatile for many different products that you may want to carry. The top pocket will hold a regular pair of glasses in a hard case perfectly. The magazines from my 1911 fit perfectly in the magazine straps in the front internal pocket. All around a good durable and tremendously useful bag. Whether you want a good camera bag, EDC, man bag, range bag or hiking bag, this product will fit your needs.

The North Face Hot Shot

The North Face Hotshot Backpack BlackI received this bag a year ago as a present, and it's still holding up strong. I'm known to load up my bags when I'm running around, and this thing can handle basically anything. I really like that it doesn't look bulky when you put a lot of things in it, and it won't make you think it's going to rip at any minute. As an extreme case, I periodically put my 15lb bowling ball in it when I want to have it with me, and the bag doesn't strain at all. The straps really give that added support that will keep the bag from stretching out of shape. I looked for the same support as this bag in cheaper options, but nothing came close to giving the same back support. You can barely tell when you have something heavy in it.

The Northface just makes QUALITY products. I'm a full time worker/student/bike rider. This thing has it all. Fits my needs and makes me look coolER at the same time. Lol

Buy The North Face Hot Shot Now

I'm a full-time college student, so I carry with me a lot of stuff as big books, scholar supplies, notebooks, laptops, cellphone, MP3, tablet and other electronic device. As you may guess, I don't have space in pockets to take all of that, lol. And a simple backpack wouldn't work. So I bought this new backpack. It is great, I like it. All my stuff fit very well. It protects all my stuff of damages and weather.

An amazing thing is that with all my stuff inside, this backpack doesn't look full-like, it doesn't look like a backpack full of a lot of things. It stays normal. In addition, it looks great modern. It is a nice backpack.

It was a great purchase and with a lot of pockets and space. I recommend to buy this backpack.

Osprey Talon 44-Litre Backpack

Osprey Talon 44-Litre BackpackPurchased the large, meteorite model pack for dayhiking, overnight hikes with shelters, and airplane travel. So far, it has worked well in every capacity.

Strengths

Good distribution of weight between hips and shoulders when loaded.

Solid construction, feels as though it will last through the years.

The two loops for storing trekking poles are awesome, not a feature on my other packs.

Very breathable where the frame rest against your back, no major sweat buildup.

Size and shape is ideal for active hiking and scrambling, so no need to leave gear behind during side trips.

Weakness

The cord lock for the drawstring that closes the top is a pain by design.

All in all, a great pack for middleweight excursions at a great price compared to major stores. Someone with a full set of ultralight and tight packing gear might find it suitable for every occasion. Just be sure to buy for where you want to hike, as this bag is too small for my full tent setup, nor for hikes where it is necessary to carry 1-2 days worth of water.

Great pack. Suspension works very well, especially as you load it more. I've carried anywhere from 5 to 30 pounds comfortably. Plenty of room inside the main compartment. The top lid is also very spacious. At the same time, its attachment is weird and it always seems to be falling off when he pack is not fully loaded. Would have preferred if the top lid's straps would come from the top of the pack and not from the sides. Have abused it for over 6 months and the fabric is still intact, as are all the plastic components. Excellent pack.

I have since not only used it for climbing gear, but for travel, weekend trips, pretty much everything. This is my go to bag now! Highly adjustable, great comfort, waist straps that fit and hold anything you could ever want! I don't want to over complicate this review, but simply put, this bag is all you need. Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Professional Special Ops Field Medical Pack - Coyote Brown / Tan 15-8174

Voodoo Tactical Deluxe Professional Special Ops Field Medical Pack - Coyote Brown / Tan 15-8174This is identical to a competitor's S.T.O.M.P. bag at a quarter of the price. It holds a lot of gear, and I mean a LOT. I'm an ALS provider and have basic and advanced airway equipment along with four complete IV setups ( two 1000cc bags, infusors, administration sets and catheters, two 500cc bags same as the 1000cc), wound management equipment to include four closure options, Assessment gear from BP cuff and scope to glucometer, pulse ox, a deluxe ENT set and your run of the mill dressings, bandages, splints and that sort of thing. Outside of a monitor/defibrillator and oxygen tank, if it doesn't fit in this bag, you probably don't need it. If you put some thought into what goes where, you can store a mini field medical unit set up in it.

Addition as of 1/8/2013

I have added the Voodoo Tactical MOLLE Compatible Enlarged EMT/First Aid Pouch as an extra external pouch to hold my diagnostic instruments and it works like a charm. The add on pouch is truculently holding a blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, deluxe field ENT kit, pulse ox, glocometer, Mini Mag LED AA light, 5.11 AAA penlight, a set of Rescue Medicine Field medic Prompts and a set of Rescue medicine casualty forms with sharpie. There's still plenty of room in there so I may just move a few items that might be needed really quick, like an SOF tourniquet and HALO chest seal. If anyone is intersted in a detailed list of the contents of my set up feel free to e-mail me at jcampbellfotos@yahoo.com and I'll supply you with one.

I purchased this bag a couple of months ago. In general, it met my expectations. Prior to this bag, I had large amounts of medical gear in boxes and random places. My vision of this bag was to have the "ultimate" first aid kit. Well, I think it fits that bill. The construction seems to be high quality. No issues with zippers at this time. the mesh parts look like they would rip, but haven't yet. The layout of the bag is very good. There is a place to stick just about anything you can imagine. When I first got the bag, I started filling it up with all my stuff. Then realized that less is more, and went back with a plan and redid the whole thing. I will probably redo it again in the future. All in all, I love this thing. It does its job and looks pretty cool in the process.

Now for the reason that I gave it 4 stars. I am using this thing in the civilian world. I fill it and keep it in a designated spot in my home for an emergency. Worse case scenario I would throw it in the truck, and head to a disaster (of biblical proportions). Civilians do not often load up 40 pounds of medical gear and go traipsing through the woods. Soldiers do it for a living. I put this thing on after I filled it up, and it feels very awkward. I would advise anyone that was going to carry this around on their back to try one out first. Even after I downsized the load it still felt very uncomfortable to wear.

I ordered this pack so that I could store all of the medical/first-aid supplies I had gathered in my years as a medic. Not only did it have pleanty of organized slots, pouches and pockets, but it had more than enough room for all of my I.V. supplies, airway kit and extra bandaging. It is heavy when loaded up, but that is due to the fluids I have in mine. I will never be unprepared when someone gets hurt again, I carry this with my in my car!

Great construction. Seams are all sound. Holds all the weight with no problem. Comfortable to wear. Has room for my hydration bladder. I will be getting another one soon for my 72-hour kit.

I first saw this bag at the gun show and knew it was quality. It had multiple compartments for all my equipment and enough room for ambu bags and pressure cuffs. It did come with two pullout pouches that I was unable to use. The layout of one of them was just too specialized. I have tons of stuff that I was able to fit in there in an organized manner and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Protec Slim Notebook/Tablet Messenger Brief

Pro Tec Slim Notebook/Tablet Messenger BriefI bought this as a carrying case for my iPad 2. I wanted a pocket for the iPad with padding, along with an extra pocket to be able to carry a folder of papers or a small notebook. I also wanted to be able to carry the charger and have a pocket or two for other stuff, like pens and business cards. I picked this one because it seemed like it would fit my iPad with my Fieldfolio case on it -something many of the others I looked at would not do.

Not only does this fill those expectations, but -get this -its big enough to carry my iPad while it is in a Fieldfolio AND my macbook 13" unibody (same size as macbook pro), AND chargers for both, some papers, AND a Moleskin, AND a myriad of other small items. Yet , its overall mass is probably a third of my main bag, a Brenthaven convertible that fits up to a 15" laptop.

I was skeptical about the brand, having never heard of it, but it seems they've been making musical instrument cases since the 70's and only recently ventured into laptop/electronics bags. It seems very well made and comes with a shoulder strap and a nice luggage ID tag. It has 2 hand straps one attached to each side of the bag, so it does not suffer from the hand carry strap balance issues I've read in reviews of some other messenger bags.

If I see any issues over longer term use, I'll update here. But this is a nice bag at what I consider a good price.

Product was exactaly what they said it would be . I work at a corparate facility and if you forgt your access badge or keys , it a BIG DEAL , if you make a small investment in this product , you can keep everything together , instead of tossing it the top of the counter top or dresser , you will never show up to work with less then you need , I work nights and I keep a flashlight , and other emergency supplies in my bag. Highly recommond this product.. Steve Dobbins

I use this backpack for school and for the weekend trips. It's not the biggest bag, nor the more cushioned on the inside (for electronics and the like), but if I remember correctly, I only paid about $15 for it. For that, it has been wonderful, and I would certainly buy another if this one breaks. Quite happy with my purchase, and it has held up great throughout the year.

This backpack is the best I have ever purchased. I have carried groceries in it from the store, and my laptop computer fits in it with all the cables. I have filled it to capacity, and it is very sturdy. Great product, although it's a bit expensive, but it has been worth the price that I paid. It's not cost efficient to have to buy one backpack after another and have them breaking at the seam or be frustrated that they are not large enough to carry the items I need. This backpack solved my problem. It is very sturdy, has lots of pockets, and I have gotten many compliments about how great it looks. The hard to find lavender color is truly beautiful, but it also comes in other colors.

Timbuk2 Shagg Bag On-Strap Pouch

Timbuk2 Shagg Bag 2011, Blue/Black, MediumWhat I wanted was a pouch that would hold my HTC Android Smartphone on my messenger bag outside, rather than inside (which seemed to interfere with the bluetooth). BINGO! This was perfect and yes, it matches my Timbuk2 messenger bag, of course. The front zipper compartment is the right size for a bus pass and, possibly, a credit card or two, not not much else. The straps on the back make it possible to hang it vertically or horizontally. I am very happy with this item.

I picked one of these up to use as my cell phone case while using my bag, but it's just a little too small. I have a Galaxy S II phone, and it does not fit inside the case. It's a bit disappointing, as it looks like it was designed around an iPhone for sizing, but the world has moved to larger screens on their mobile devices. It doesn't need to be a lot bigger, but a little more room could have made all the difference.

On the other hand, it is built very well and stays in place on the strap. I can find other uses for it, but if you have a phone with a decent sized screen, be careful when ordering.

My only "complaint" is that I'd rather have black stitching than blue, seems like it'd match other colors more easily.

Aqua-Quest 'The Sport' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag - 30 L / 1800 cu. in. Charcoal Model

Aqua-Quest 'The Sport' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag - 30 L / 1800 cu. in. Charcoal ModelThere's no information online about these, so I'll sum it up for you. This is made from high quality backpack material with a rubber(ish) inside lining. The waterproofing looks and feels sort of like the same material as hot glue. The stitch and seams have all been sealed over. The waterproofing is done with a velcro seal at the top then rolled over itself three or four times and clipped. If you look at the pictures, that top "handle" looking thing with the clicking buckles is actually how it seals itself against water.

The good:

-This has good storage capacity. It is basically a single compartment bag with straps and water bottle holders. I am a hammock camper and can fit my entire setup in this. Hammock, tarp, bug net, sleeping bag, and emergency survival kit (much more and you'll start to lose the waterproofing read on for more info). It has expansion loops on the back of the main body for other attachments. I keep extra para cord and carabiners in case I need to carry more.

-The craftsmanship is very good. No loose strings, no shoddy stitching, and good fabric quality. The straps and buckles aren't going to break any time soon and the snapping buckles hold together well.

-It is quite light. I'm not a huge backpacker (furthest I've gone is maybe 10 miles to camp and 10 to trek out), but this seems very light. It's design is almost minimalistic. There's no extra fluff or padding to weigh it down, although this could be bad if comfort is your main priority.. as such

-This bag is generally very comfortable. The position this bag rests against you is the best I have felt (again, not a TON of experience with backpacks). There is vital padding on the shoulders and hips.

The not so good:

-I'm 6'2", 155 pounds and this bag is a little short for me. In order for the shoulder pads to rest on my shoulders I have to since them about half way tight. When I do this the waste strap rides up a little above my belly button and the sternum strap is still a little high on toward my neck.

-If you over stuff this bag then it is impossible to get the number of folds at the top to make the waterproof seal. It will still close just fine, but water will be able to seep inside.

-This isn't so much bad as a note. This is the "sport basic" model. It is exactly that. It is set up for holding some gear and drinks. That's it. No fancy pockets or gizmos. There isn't a single zipper on this. No extra padding or framing. This is a waterproof sports bag. That's it.

I tied this to a cord and let it drag in a creek for fifteen minutes or so. I made sure there was plenty of water pushing at the top where the seal is made... by keeping it upstream (right in the current) and pretty much submerged. I opened it to to find the inside dry. A little bit of water went in while I was opening it because the cloth retained a few drips around the folds, but if I was a bit more careful this would have been easily prevented.

Anyway, if you want a bigger daypack, or an overnight pack. This is a very good choice. And it doesn't cost any more than a normal, non-waterproof bag of the same quality. I'm pleased with mine.

I am 6 ft 162 pounds, and this fits extremely well and very comfortable. This backpack is a great universal size. This was most I have paid for a backpack, so I did hesitate at first, but as I've learned over the years you usually get what you pay for. This backpack feels like quality, very solid, very well made and I have no doubt it will last many years of abuse from my backpacking and hiking adventures. Side pockets, hold my 27 and 40 ounce Klean Kanteen bottles perfectly. Remember their are no internal pockets on this model, but I knew that before I purchased this backpack so I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Fast shipping and great customer service as well.

I have been using it lately to carry my cameras inside and going into muddy mangrove forests , it gives me a good peace of mind to know things are save in there, I tested it before and survived being dipped in water and lots of sprayed water. The D rings can be used to clip other items to the bag.

Samsonite Luggage Jacksonville Backpack

Samsonite Luggage Jacksonville Backpack, Cool BlueMy backpack did not arrived after I ordered it. After I contacted Samsonite though Amazon, they immediately shipped me a new one at no additional costs. When it arrived, I was very happy. Finally, it is hear. I like the quality of backpack. It looks nice and seems to fit many things. I especially like the key thing and multiple pockets. That's exactly what I need. My previous Samsonite backpack was great, hope this will last for long))

Samsonite backpacks are the best! My daughter ordered this one to replace her current Samsonite that she's been using for the past 3 years. It's actually still in great shape but she wanted something new for college.

This is a very useful and attractive backpack. It's pretty big, my 15 "laptop fits perfectly. It has compartments to leave your pens and other materials, as well as a pocket for quick access to leave your phone or wallet. In addition, the backpack is very comfortable. Nevertheless, I missed than there were a pocket to secure my laptop in its compartment.

I've been using this backpack for almost 2 months now. Since I'm a college student, it gets daily use and it's held up perfectly well. I hardly ever use the back pocket since I don't usually carry my laptop around, but it is able to fit my large 15" laptop without trouble. The middle pocket can hold all my books and materials easily, and I like the mini pockets and pen holders inside.

The only complaint I have is that when I received the backpack the thread on part of one shoulder strap was poorly stitched and coming undone. I stitched it up and it's fine.

Overall, it's a sturdy, well-made backpack. I'd definitely recommend it. Even though it's smaller than my last backpack, I love it more because of the color. So if you like purple too, then get this pack. I looked at all the other packs out there, and this is probably your best option. ;)

I don't know why the bad reviews on this bag. I bought it for my 3 year old batman fanatic. He loves it. I personally think the "chest" of the bag is funny and cute. It's very roomy. My only gripe about it, is the zipper. You can actually see it in the picture. The zipper is on one side of the bag, not both. And you have to go under a strap, to zip/unzip it. Kinda inconvenient, but a minor inconvenience. The straps on this bag, (that go on your shoulders) are very thick. I'd reccommend this bag for any batman fan!

Tumi Alpha Wheeled 26" Expandable Medium Trip 22026

Tumi Alpha Wheeled 26' Expandable Medium Trip 022026DH,Black,one sizeTumi is a great product with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat it. The 'ripoff dude' who wrote the poor review has obviously never owned a Tumi and quite possibly has anger issues that even owning a Tumi cannot mend. I read his other reviews and wish him well.

$899 for a piece of canvas is a ripoff. Sure, the bag has the "exclusive" Tumi name that makes baggage handlers swoon. They go home and when their wives ask "how was you day, dear", they say "I handled a Tumi today". If you're looking to impress baggage handlers and bellcaps, this is the suitcase for you. If you would rather not waste $899, I saw a great suitcase of similar size and features for sale at my local AAA club office for only $119. The $780 you save could buy a roundtrip plane ticket to some pretty nice places where the baggage handler would think "this is a smart traveler who doesn't waste money on one of those stupid overpriced Tumi bags."

Well for any die hard combat grunt or veteran this is the pack to have. A vest integrated with a nice size pack. Wish I had this in Iraq. There is one flaw the pack isn't water proof but all u need to do is by waterproofing spray an u be set. Now the flaw is none of the threads have been heat treated so I'll have to burn of some ends an what.not. main thing is by a good size bottle of gorilla glue an a pin strip paint brush. Then put a nice coat of gorilla glue on all the threading an seems. I've done this to the vest an main points inside the bag. The gorilla glue is water proof am very tough it gives the thread a nice strong bonding while keeping it protected from wear an tear after u have applied it to all the bag. U now have a pack tht is 95% indestructible except for the material tht makes the bag. Which will probably wear down before ur seems an thread wear down. I had to get a replacement the first one because I took my pack everywhere an could alrewsee key points coming apart. Thts why u r better off applying a nice coat of gorilla glue to all then threading an seems to ensure maximum performance an life span of ur pack.

5.11 Rush 24 Back Pack

5.11 1 Day Rush Backpack, TAC ODI've been a pack junkie, user, trader, buyer, and I guess a bit of a collector for 4 decades. I served in the 80's and I humped the various ALICE versions all over the world. Have tried many (WAY TOO MANY) packs over the years looking for the right one. For what I need now...this is just about the perfect pack for me. I also own the RUSH 72 as a home based Bug Out Bag...I bought it after using/abusing this RUSH 24 for over a year now.

It's been a year of daily carry for my EDC RUSH 24, using it as a briefcase if needed, laptop bag, and on camping trips and canoeing trips as my only bag. I've had it covered in dust, mud, heavily rained on, and it's been thru the desert.

I have it in black as that's the least "hey, I've got a military/MOLLE pack here"...from 5 feet away, the MOLLE just about disappears. Very low key. I wear a suit and tie every day to work...this bag still looks great.

Inside the front-bottom-outside pocket is all the little things I use daily. Pens, pencils, markers, multitool, surefire, deck of cards, chemlights, beef sticks, packs of paracord, Spyderco Military, monocular, and this time of year, suncreen and bug spray, along with some other stuff. everything in it's own pocket!

top-outside-butterfly pockets one side has gum, wallet, cell phone. Other side has Ipod Nano, earbuds, small pocket gun when I have no pockets .in basketball shorts which I wear a lot in summer. (gun is legal, with CCW permit)

Eyeglasses pocket on very top is handy my soft Maui Jim case fits in there just fine. Probably don't need to use the case here as the pocket is lined, but it fits, so I do.

Side zipper pockets one holds camelback 750ml with a soup can made into an emergency stove/water boiler. Other side holds gloves, shemagh, two buffs, and a larger survival knife a Rat-4. (now they are called ESEE knives)

All the zippered mesh pockets on the inside hold everything else I'd need to last awhile on my own but don't use a lot...stuff like medical kit, zip ties, gun cleaning stuff, camp towel, more food, CR 123 batt's for my surefires, all kinds of stuff...tons of stuff.

Inside the front lid on the bottom is a zippered pocket that's not mesh, I have extra ammo for the Glock on my hip and the back up gun, a couple contractor garbage bags, and packs of Molle clips.

In the bottom/middle is a maxpedition M2 waistpack that contains a mini survival kit that I put on my waist when I canoe...in case I'm separated from my pack. Also here in the bottom/middle is a full sized (3xl) rain jacket

The bottom back pocket has a laptop type pocket, I have a bible, checkbooks, dayplanner, and notebook in there.

The entire middle of the pack is open and I can put my laptop, files from work, or anything else I want to in this spot. It's really cool to carry all the stuff I do and still not use the middle of the pack at all. I've quit carrying my briefcase to work this is all I need.

Daily load out, minus the laptop and with an empty water bottle is 19 pounds. The back padding is so sweet, the stiff (but comfy) layer that's inserted along the back is SO great, the weight of the pack feel like nothing when I put it on. Although I do carry a cheap 1 inch buckle strap...so that I can make a waistbelt on the fly using the MOLLE in a BOB situation, I'd want the weight shifted to my hips, not on my shoulders all day.

The RUSH 72 holds more: a hammock, more tools, more ammo, climbing rope, etc....but I think I could make it with what my EDC RUSH 24 contains, if I had to. I also carry boots/BDU's ina separate bag in the jeep at all times.

I don't know what you'll use the RUSH 24 for...but if you like to be organized with your stuff...this bag will do it, and it's bombproof tough...not even a stitch loose on mine after a year of hard use and countless abuse. It washes well too.

Pack selection can vary depending on application and fit. This is a tough, high quality pack, as others describe. But it didn't float my boat.

At 6'2", I found it not fitting well, riding a couple inches higher than was comfortable. There was little adjustability to compensate, only cinch straps that constricted/relaxed the shoulder yoke. Maybe if it was always loaded to 40+lbs, the weight would pull it lower and I wouldn't notice, but for a day-hike pack at about 15-20 lbs, it wasn't workable. I have a $22 pack from Target that is far more adjustable and comfortable -I'd rather wear out 5 of them than have this high-quality pack riding my back for life.

There is no cell phone reception where I go, so such pockets are quirky. In general, the pockets didn't really match my gear, either being too big or too small. I wouldn't dream of packing a laptop. And, for me, three grommet holes in the bottom & back "to drain water" are only three entrances for bugs, sand, dirt, and water when the back is set down.

Not sure how others use packs, but I find it much easier to manage the interior of my pack (avoid putting water into it) than the external environment, and so I'd prefer not to have always-open access ports letting the outside in.

Buy 5.11 Rush 24 Back Pack Now

Based on reviews I bought this pack sight unseen. It's my first piece of 5.11 gear and as expected I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship.

I inspected a friends Rush 12, but I thought I was looking at the Rush 24.. I thought ahh this size is perfect. When the actual Rush 24 arrived I was like.. oh my this is huge. The 22x12x7" dimensions (33 liters) are only the main pouch. The admin pouch adds another few liters, and the pack can bulge outwards to maybe.. 40 liters total. Its by far the largest frameless pack I've worn.

This size is too big for my daily use. I should have payed attention to the name.. this can carry everything I would need for a 24 hour camping trip including tent, sleeping bag etc.

That is not a complaint, just an observation.I am keeping this for my Bug Out Bag and getting the Rush 12 for EDC/work use.

UPDATE: The Rush 12 is a great size for taking my EDC, lunch, and a few items to work and back. The Rush 24 is now my GET HOME bag in my car. It is a great size for such an application, bug out, get home, 72 hours, etc. All the pockets and such make organization easy (shelter, fire, water, food, etc.)

I work 2 full time jobs. One as a Professional Civilian Firefighter & I am also on on Active Duty in the Army as a Firefighter. I needed an above ordinary bag to keep me moving between the two jobs and I decided to go with this pack. I am extremely happy with the choice I made, plenty of compartments and the materials are of high quality, simply put the bag is top notch!!! Don't second guess yourself and over anyalize this, just do it, you won't be disapointed.

This pack has a place for everything. I have used this for bug out bag and now has a pack for school. Fits my 13 macbook pro great and all the stuff I need for class. My previous pack by maxpedtion fell short for this matter. It doesn't feel as rugged as my maxpedtion but it keeps my stuff more organized.

I carried this bag around daily on a trip to England. I could fit my Canon Rebel + an extra lens. Other than that I carried my wallet and a few other small items. Fit great on my back, small enough that it didn't get in the way. Loved the design. Easy access to cell phone –

DURAGADGET 15/16 inch Reversible Ultra shock water restistance Neoprene Laptop notebook Sleeve /Cas

DURAGADGET 15/16 inch Reversible Ultra shock water restistance Neoprene Laptop notebook Sleeve /Case/ bag/ Cover for HP Probook 6440B,Sony Vaio EA1S1E 14' and Samsung X420 14.1'I ordered this cover for my Sony Vaio E Series. The laptop measures approximately 35X24 cm. This sleeve measures 34.5X26.5cm. Although the description states 15/16 inch, the packaging clearly states 14"/#353. I can get the laptop in the bag but it is short. The flap will close but it's a struggle and doesn't lay flat when closed. I know if it's this much trouble to close, I won't use it for long. According to the Duragadget website, this sleeve is available in many sizes. They list this size as 14" (36.25X27.5 cm.) As stated before, I found the actual product smaller at 34.5 X 26.5. I plan to order the 16" (38.75 X 28.5 cm)/#355. It looks like it will fit the best given the product dimensions plus a little room for error. I would order it directly from Duragadget but they are located in the UK and I don't want to wait that long. I'm addicted to Prime shipping now. So I will continue to try to figure out which is the #355 here on Amazon. I'll update this review when I get it and verify it fits.
