I needed a backpack for weekend and vacation travel that could also carry my laptop. I was concerned that the capacity was only 1450 cubic inches, but I liked the design enough to give it a try. I love all the pockets, and my laptop is safe and secure. Most of my gadgets and chargers fit in easily, but as expected not much more. A set a sleepwear and a light change of clothes is about all I can get into it. However that's all I needed and I still love the design, so I'm satisfied, and if needed I'll use a suitcase or another backpack for clothes.

This backpack is great if you have a light load. I bought it for my brother who is in 8th grade and if you have to fit more then 2 books the zipper will break from the weight. I do not suggest this for kids in school. Maybe only for someone carrying a laptop and a notepad.
This pack is made of high quality components throughout with strong attention to quality control in manufacturing. The zippers are big and beefy. Its backed by a lifetime warranty. The sternum and waste straps and phone case are removable. I require near mil-spec quality and durability for my gear and this pack does not disappoint me. The front insulated compartment is big and could hold quite a bit of temperature controlled food, but I just use it as a place for my wallet, smartphone and keys with plenty of room to spare. The two insulated side pouches were designed for water bottles, but also work well to store my power supply and mouse on one side and a couple of spare notebook batteries on the other. The main compartment does a good job of storing my 15.4" notebook and a large zippered padfolio/organizer. the smaller middle compartment is a good place to stash a hardback textbook and has plenty of zippered & velcro organizer compartments for smaller items. The back of the pack is well ergo-padded and ventilated. The top handle is big, wide and comfortable to use.

Ok, I have taken this on a few trips over the last month or so and this is what I think. The adjustable suspension and hip belt is pretty great it allows you to really customize the fit and get it just about as comfortable as possible. The hip belt is not structured it is soft and contours to your shape which I like. I find the heavier structured belts end up hurting my hips over long mileage. The straps are pretty plush too. Its hearty and made well and has that awesome Osprey guarantee. It's fairly light though it handles my 40 45 lbs load quite well. The compression straps keep the load close to your back which is good and the hip belt pockets are huge. Perfect for both a camera and a phone in one pocket and some snacks in the other. There are some bungees to hold your trekking poles but honestly I strap my poles to the side of my pack using the compression straps when I am not using them. The top pouch is very roomy. The under side of the top pouch also has a mesh pocket for things you might need quickly. I generally stuff my map in there along with a med kit. The main compartment isn't real fancy the only real frill is the sleeping bag compartment on the bottom which works well and has a hearty zipper. There are some straps over the sleeping pad compartment as well just in case you want to strap some tent poles or a sleeping pad to the outside there. There is some nylon webbing on both sides in case you want to strap or clip something to that. I like the the stretchy pouch out the back as well. It is great for stuffing rain gear or any other gear you want to get to quickly it comes in handy. This pack has 2 water bottle pouches but I haven't needed them to this point. I have been using a bladder in the pack and that has worked well.
Bought this product for my daughter really lovely but after just two weeks it has already started coming apart.
This backpack falls apart within the first month. the headphone jack breaks away from the cable and the strap snaps with the lightest load. Try bombing in this thing and you are out of luck, hardly holds cans, and you'll have nothing to carry your things after a month.

This looks nice enough, but you basically have to completely unbuckle and remove the strap to slide the ID in and out. If it's enough for you to simply recognize the tag on your luggage I guess it's not necessary to read it, but then what's the point? I got this in black leather so it doesn't really distinguish itself much from any other tag on black luggage circling the carousel at the airport. Not bad looking, but not well designed at all.
I gave it 2 stars because it lasted 2 months with my kindergartener before it broke.

I got this for my almost 3 yr old as a carry on, the size is too big for her to carry but I need the space for everything she need for a 25 hrs plane trip, however she loves to wheel it around just like we do which makes her feels more independent (also less for me to carry). We only had it for less then a month so I can't really say much bout the quality but I love the vibrant color & the fact that its not all baby pinkish. The only thing I would like to have instead was a netted side pockets for her water bottle.

After searching hundreds of rolling duffel bags online for the right size, weight, durability, I bought this for my college age son to make carting clothes, laundry hamper and backpack from car park to dorm room easier (great roller wheels, which are replaceable) plus he was going on a snow trip to Colorado. Well I can tell you he loves it it has an incredible amount of room and the end pockets easily take a pair of winter boots. The side pocket has ample room for toiletries. Still had room for more after packing for a 5 day trip. He loves the fact you can use the well concealed straps and make it a backpack too. I'm about eight months into owning this backpack, and so far everything has held up amazingly well. It doesn't really get dirty, and the only parts showing any age is a slight yellowing of the white zipper (which is expected) and the patch that says herschel supply is getting a bit dirty (also expected). All the brown leather-like material is all still intact and not even close to coming apart. All around great, good looking backpack.
I just received this product, as I needed a new backpack / "man purse" ("murse"). It is very stylish, comfortable to wear...and seems sturdy. I think my only minor complaints: 1) it really lacks smaller pockets. There is one hidden inside the large / main compartment, which is handy...but the front smaller compartment is the single holder of the cell phone, pens, hand sanitizer, etc...and it seems to affect the second minor complaint, which is 2) the magnetic "button" enclosure. I may have to stop at the hardware store and get a few magnets for the piece of mind of a stronger hold. However, with all that said, I think this will be my bag of choice for work & school for the next year plus. I am very happy with it so far.

I recently purchased this item. It gets the job done but its definitely not the best. This bag works great for carrying things other than books. I tend to use it more for when I do things like exercise or play sports where I don't have many things to carry. There are only 2 compartments and the big compartment is a bit small though. It does fit my 8x11 notebooks and books, but it really can't fit anything much bigger because of the triangluar shape and it only fits 2-3 of my books at a time.
