School College Rolling Backpack on Wheels- Black

I bought this bag because wanted something slightly smaller for either just a one night away or be my second bag with wheels. I needed something easier to get into the overheard on flights. I haven't had an oppotunity to travel with it yet but the height that the handle lifts to is good and I'm a tall person. It seems like it's exactly what I'm looking for but I can't tell you how it performs yet or how the wheels last on it. May 2013 update. Took my first overnight with it. It did just fine through 4 airports and was much lighter to pick up and place in the overhead. It still didn't fit well in one overhead (small plane) so I had to check it just once at the gate. The handle is a very good length for me. It doesn't lock and goes down into the bag without any struggle.

Fujitsu Diplomat Carrying Case - Top-loading - Ballistic Nylon

Bought this bag for 9.00 and some change from a seller who advertised it as like new. Was looking at a codi diplomat bag for 88.00.

I would have paid the 88.00 for this bag and would have been satisfied with the purchase.

Nice bag, compact but with several compartments for the computer, books, magazines....pens and pencils, CDs and other junk.

This bag will not hold even a 15.4 inch computer. I am currently using it for my 14 inch dell latitude but will be taking a 15.4 inch HP in it on trips. A 15.4 wont fit in the dedicated computer section but it will fit in the middle compartment and if you treat your bag the way you should...then computer safety in this middle compartment should be fine.

I believe codi makes a diplomat bag for 17 inch computers and I might buy one at regular retail price...but now Im looking for something in leather......lol

Its a decent smart looking bag with plenty of storage for all your doo dads.

I love this backpack. The interior is really nice and it has enough room for a laptop and 3-4 more books/notebooks. It's a little too tight for my computer and my books (which is why I took a star off); but, I was able to fit all my things in it. The design is beautiful, the material is great, and i love the fact that it has that shiny coat which makes cleaning just a wipe away. I purchased this backpack (black) several a 2 months ago. After less than a month's use both bottom corners ripped out. Thankfully the bottom didn't rip out altogether but I contacted Amazon and ordered a replacement. The 2nd one ripped out even quicker. I never misused this item. I only used it to carry books and a small laptop so, unfortunately, I had to return the second one for a refund.

On a positive note, I give 5 stars to Amazon for excellent customer service.

This backpack is just as describe on Amazon. It is sturdy, all zippers and straps are working fine, the material appears to be thick and it seems like I am going to own that backpacks for years to come.

The shipping was great, on time, as mentioned on Amazon and the seller even took the time to write a short thank you note for buying is product. He provided all of his info. needed for returning the item, but I ain't gonna return that backpack for anything.

I bought this around 3 months ago. At first the color and design of the camo was pretty spot on with your average ACU digital camo scheme. The quality was pretty good, double stitched straps and the fabric is pretty strong. WIthin a month of usage however, the color became sun bleached. I used it for some hiking activities and going to the beach as well as for soccer practice, it wasn't out in the sun for more than 3 hours at a time. It looks pretty weird when the main face is sun bleached while the sides are still grey. That's my only beef with it overall.

Dakine 25-Litre Mission Photo Pack

I would order another in a heartbeat. I can fit up to 5 lenses comfortable along with the camera body and accessories. While it does show using the straps on the back to carry a tripod they do not stay secure enough to prevent it from slipping.

I was looking for a bag that would suit all of my photographer/videographer needs. Turns out my favorite backpack brand makes this kind of bag! I did a search on ebay as well to see if they sell similar. They did, but turns out it's more expensive and shipping fair was expensive! I got this bag in a matter of days after having shipped and I am loving it! First of all, the camo look is amazing. The zippers are the most durable I've seen on a bookbag, ever and I love all the features. Taking out the photo compartment to use it as a regular bookbag is just great. There's only one con and that's they took out the water bottle zipper on one of the side pockets. You can always buy a bottle clip, I suppose.

I'd recommend this to anyone searching for new gear!

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION:

First rate. This bag is very high quality. The main zipper is oversize and looks like it will last. Materials and stitching about best I've seen.

FUNCTION:

Intially, concerned that there are only two pockets (end pocket on the end for shoes), and small side pocket, but this seems plenty. The shoe pocket is large enough for large pair of tennis shoes, swim trunks, and even overnight dirty laundry. Small pocket fine for keys, ipod, lock, etc..

SIZE:

This bag is slightly larger than most gym bags, but because it does not have a flat, firm bottom it packs a lot of stuff, and yet can be compressed into a locker. Large enough for workout gear, wash kit, and change of clothes.

This is a high quality multi purpose gym bag. I can easily fit all of my gym equipment (jump rope, tape, chalk, 2 pairs of shoes, straps, and more) plus 2 changes of clothes, my protein, and meals and snacks for the day all in this one bag. Its been a life saver.

Easy to compartmentalize shoes and sweaty clothes from the gear and clean stuff.

Highly recommend this bag. Great value for the price.

This bag is the great size for a visit to the gym and will hold a change of clothes and pair of shoes to fit in a locker easily. The front pocket is perfect for keys wallet and cell phone. My biggest gripe is the pocket on the end. I'ts difficult to use for shoes or flip flops as they get a little lost in it when you have other things in the bag. The zipper on this end pocket comes off its track frequently but the other zippers work fine.

strong zipers, good power output for such a small pannel.. the small poutch on the top is great for sunglasses you dont want to get scratched up or fall deep in the bag. i had the local sewing shop on base add molly straps to the sides and velcro to the top right above the compartment with the solar so i can add my name tag or what ever. im a trucker working for the af in the aor and its really ben great to have. il try to get pics and post of it soon.

Took this on a trip to Amsterdam. NO SUN. NO POWER! Had one day of sun and it did not charge for the next day.

The straps do not stay securely on your arms, should have put a snap strap across the chest!

Has no outside mesh holders for water or anything else so you have to open the thing every time you need to get in it.

It was exhausting.

How did I live without this for so long? I immediately pinged all my mama friends and alerted them that they don't have to be doomed to wearing the same diaper bag every day. Higher Ground 13" Laptrap

I've been using my 13" Laptrap for about three weeks now and I just leave my computer in it. I did order two extra AC cords--now I have one in my usual computing spot, another for the other area in the house and one I leave at work. Cords fit well in the left hand pocket and I leave my mouse plugged in and stash it in the right hand pocket, then zip both sides up to that connection point. Would have loved a different color, but it saved me some $$ to settle on the blue. I park mine on top of a little scoot table and hang one pocket over the left side. I've yet to use it as it's intended, sitting on the sofa with it sitting on my lap but it's good to know that I can use it that way too. All-in-all, an excellent product and highly recommended.

The coolest case period!!!!! It is everything I wanted. Only 2 pockets for mouse, drives, etc. But just the right amount of space. I am disabled and in a wheelchair and it works great in my lap. Boyt Harness Estancia Series Duffel Bag

Everything it claims to be, a bombproof duffle for the ages. I purchased the medium which is plenty large enough for a days worth of travel. I've used this everything from weekend getaways and boat trips in the tropics, to extended camping. Fantastic bag, excellent quality, and well worth the price.

The shoulder strap is nice and wide, and stays in place once you adjust it to the length you want and doesn't "slip" like so many other's I've had. The two leather straps that fold over the opening and secure the closure are very handy for attaching other bulky items that you might not want in the duffle like a coat or umbrella.

This duffle makes other, more expensive bags I've seen look like cheap knockoffs when compared to this Boyt bag. Tough as nails and well worth the buy!

Black PU Leather-like Material Backpack School Bag Cool for School

Like my title suggests, I'm writing this a few minutes after taking this bag out from its confusingly small-ish package, so if anything major happens I'll be sure to update this. I ordered this... read carefully, on the 13th of March and I am just now getting my grubby little hands on it, on the second day of April. I wasn't expecting Amazon's wonderful two-day shipping or anything, but geez... nearly three weeks for one bookbag? I was originally mortified when I finally did get it (three weeks later), since it arrived in such a small package, but that terror subsided once I found my full-sized backbag neatly wrapped up in its constricting plastic barrier. Yup, the bag I received looks exactly like the picture, and I was actually surprised at the quality of the leater (pleather?). It's very soft, and I appeciate all of the pockets they placed on the exterior of the bag. It did come with a smell though, which I can't quite appreciate, but I'm sure it'll air out eventually just like most of the other leather (pleather?) products I have previously ordered from Amazon. Would I reccommend it? Why of course, it's a beautiful, roomy bag at a decent price. (That $8.00 shipping however... well, that's besides the point.) Anyway, yes! This backpack is a godsend for a college student like me. Now I can suffer back pains from carrying my laptop and 3kgs of books around campus... IN STYLE. ;)

UpdateL It's been about a month since I got it, and this bag has been nothing but perfect! Everything's holding up well, the smell has gone away some, and with the way things are going it even replaced my purse. Great buy!

It smells like fish. Right when I took it out of the packaging POW! Fish. Disgusting. It's worse when it gets slightly wet. I can't use it.... it's so stinky that I'm even embarrassed to take it even on a New York City subway. ugh.

Upon opening it, immediately I was struck by the material. It's soft and feels just like leather to me. There is a smell, but it's about what I'd expect from leather products (leather-ish products? I know this isn't real leather). I hung it up on my bedroom door overnight and the smell was gone this morning. It seems durable and is quite large, I expect to be able to fit everything I need for school in there.

It's exactly as shown, pure black. I know one of the other reviewers got one with brown straps, but mine is definitely all black, exactly as pictured! It's everything I expected and more, it's quite beautiful in real life.

Will update after fall quarter starts with durability and comfort.

I also wanted pockets and places to put pens, the charger, and other things that I would like to carry with it. I thought this bag would do just that from what I saw, so I ordered it. When I received it, I opened it up with anticipation. I checked it out thoroughly, and was satisfied. It wasn't until after I went to put my iPad in it as well as everything else that I realized I was impressed. My iPad fit perfectly and the pocket made for it kept it snugly in place. Not only is there enough room for my iPad in the main pocket, but there was plenty of space to put a paperback novel in there as well. I bought this bag for use in college with my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I'm an engineering major and need my laptop with me about 90% of the time, and this bag fit the requirements almost perfectly. Able to store laptop, one textbook, one 2" binder, graphing calculator, calipers, safety glasses, various pens, smaller notebook. Wish I could fit another textbook so I didn't have to go back to my car, but that is not a reflection of this product, I should have looked into that. Recycled material is very strong and all stitching seems great so far. Good compartments for cables/USB devices too. Well-padded laptop compartment fits well and closes with a velcro strap across the top. As comfortable as a laptop pack can be, though I'm used to heavy loads. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I would highly recommend this bag. I've had it for a while now, and its very solid and has plenty of space. Often i'll keep my 15.6 laptop, a stack of papers, a couple of books and the charger and mouse. There is still plenty of room for more in the front pockets though.

It has nice lines and looks sporty compared to most bags. The strap is very comfortable too; well padded and fitted nicely.

The only reason i take away a star is because the strap harness squeaks when i walk. I'm sure i could fix this with some oil but I'm too lazy.

Nice bag that fits my ipad (or a netbook) snug in a seperate compartment. there is room in the outside compartment where i put my charger, a usb drive, pen and 3/4 size notebook. The outside has a zipper where i drop my ipbone in when traveling through the airport. Overall a good back and you get that ecofriendly feel. No real 'concerns', but if i had to say anything, the shoulder strap slides a bit and when you clip the front flap it doesn't go as easy as others. That being said, I am very happy with this and will be using it for a long time. No need to take my laptop on short trips when my ipad can now accompany me and do the trick. recommended.

Timbuk2 Sycamore Laptop Backpack

I was looking for something a little smaller than Timbuk2's Uptown and Q Laptop bags and the Sycamore seemed to fit the bill. No local retailers carried it so I went by the Amazon description. The bag in person is very well made and sharp looking to boot. It's a little basic in that it doesn't have the many nook and cranny pockets that the Showdown, Q Laptop and Uptown have, so I simply use a Cocoon Grid It (http://www.amazon.com/Cocoon-CPG10GY-GRID-IT-Organizer-Inch/dp/B002T0HRVY) to keep the small items I carry organized.

The built in organizer faces the back of the pack, which takes getting used to and it means that anything bulky you put in there is going to catch on anything you want to slide into that pocket, so you have to look carefully when you slide anything into that pocket -this is where I put the Grid It, facing that pocket so that I just have to locate the Grid It and slide papers or folders behind it to avoid it catching. But, the simpler answer in my opinion would be to have had the built in organizer more comprehensive, with more pockets and zipaways, and facing the front of the pack.

That one design quibble is why I knocked off a star, otherwise this bag is superb and well worth the price.

Not a bad design on the outside. The strap was a bit long for me I'm 5'3". Wish the designer paid more attention to things such as (1) the inside color is too dark and fabric and the construction is a bit cheap looking (2) the pocket on the strap too narrow to be of much use (would like to keep cell phone handy but phones these days are much bigger) (3) the snaps on the sides lousy design try not to fill the bag since the top flap becomes even more lopsided while carrying when its not snapped.

Herschel Supply Pop Quiz Navy Backpack

I'm about eight months into owning this backpack, and so far everything has held up amazingly well. It doesn't really get dirty, and the only parts showing any age is a slight yellowing of the white zipper (which is expected) and the patch that says herschel supply is getting a bit dirty (also expected). All the brown leather-like material is all still intact and not even close to coming apart. All around great, good looking backpack.
