This bag was purchased for my 8 year old 3rd grader, who has used it daily for the last 6 months. Then, while his bag was closed, the zipper came off. All of his things were trapped inside. So I tore the seam open with my hands. My point being, I am not strong, and tearing the bag open was not difficult, suggesting it is not a sturdy product. The Mario details are bright and colorful, and I suppose 6 months used by an active boy is a decent amount of time for the price paid.Want Mariokart Wii Large Backpack Discount?

This case probably wont fit your 17in just fyi. Although it has been perfect for carrying my utrabook and power supply. i love the vertical design on it and has been very durable so far. only things that i would note is that i wish the pocket compartment could have a zipper extend for more space and that *if you have a 15in laptop make sure u get the 17in case*. when i put my 15.6in ultrabook in there it was very snug.overall im very satisfied with this caseI WOULD recommend this product

I ordered the 17" bag I received the 15" bag. When I returned the bag stating that I wanted the 17" bag, I was sent another 15" bag. The plastic wrap on both items stated it was the 17" model but the actual tag on the item showed it was the 15" model. Looking at it in the pictures, I have to say that I expected something of higher qualityThe nylon feels cheap, and the zippers do not all function as they should, and hang up on themselves at random places.
Overall, it's functional, but save your money and buy something of higher quality.

I was at first a bit skeptical of this backpack but after reading the other reviews on amazon I decided to buy it. I will never regret it. I'm currently a University student and this backpack has everything I need. It fits three textbooks, a few spirals, an iPad and a MacBook Pro with ease. One of my favorite things about this is how well it sits on my shoulders. I walk around all day with it on my back and at times it feels like it is not even there.The only complaint I can think of is the nylon adjustable straps. They come loose far to easily, but with a few safety pins I was able to prevent them from sliding down at all.
I had a JanSport backpack for years, and what I hated the most was its lack of padding to keep the backpack sturdy/standing. The backpack would sag, and to better describe it, it was more of a zippered sack to hold the contents together. The Incase Compact Backpack is a winner, esp. for students like myself. The only negative thing to this backpack is that the nylon adjustable straps do come loose easily. This is NOT to say that the strap itself will undo itself and you will have to re-insert the strap into the plastic thingamajig(?) to keep it together... Let's just say it's a bit too easy to adjust the straps. It hasn't bothered me too much though, because I'm small, and I keep the straps to its max shortest length anyhow. I've been a fan of Incase products since their first making of very first iPhone case, and yes, they're not cheap, but for what you get (style, quality, design), it's worth it... Even more so on Amazon where you can find many products for cheaper than at retail cost!

I bought this after owning a few different Incase backpacks / slingsI was hoping for something similar to my sling backpack. As a backpack, it fit well while being carried. I'm a bigger person, so the sling pack doesn't fit me well unless warn like a single strap backpack. I thought this bag would be a perfect blend.
Internal storage is lacking. My sling pack has 4 mesh pockets. Good for portable hard drive, traveling access point, and power supply. This pack didn't have enough pockets. It barely had any for carrying more than the laptop and pens. No real pocket to even hold the power supply.
Overall, the quality is good. If you don't have to carry much with it, it's fine. If you have any cables, accessories, etc., you may want to look elsewhere. One of the reviews mentioned 3 textbooks and the laptop. I'm not sure that is possible, and likely not a review for this case.

This is a solid bag. It fits well. 15L is perfect for carrying iPad, Nikon D7000 DSLR camera (with lens), 2 additional high quality lenses (with hoods), plus other knick-knacks for the camera. I will be using while traveling overseas, so I needed something a little more secure. Aside from the cut-through resistant fabric, the zippers can be latched in place to prevent someone from unzipping and dashing off with your valuables. The bag also allows you to clip one of the arms around a table or chair which is designed to discourage thieves from running by and grabbing your gear. I do not own RFID enabled credit cards or passport, but the bag does advertise protection from thieves that can scan for these devices.Update It is now July 2013. I have used this bag since April 2013. I took it to Greece and Turkey and felt safer using the backpack with its features. The fit is great compared to other backpacks I have used for this same purpose. My camera equipment is a little heavy (obviously my choice because I carry so much stuff), but the slightly rigid/padded spine on the backpack makes for a more comfortable fit. I'm still enjoying my purchase.

I bought this bag to carry my Canon XF100, along with extra batteries, a widescreen lens, memory cards, my laptop and some external drives, chargers, another couple of smaller cameras, a lavaliere kit, a shotgun mike, a tripod, and a few other tools and accessories I like to carry around with me on a video shoot. I generally shoot by myself, so it's critical that I can carry everything I need with me in a single bag and this does the trick. It's a very sturdy bag, which means I can rely on it to protect my expensive equipment from most contingencies -assuming, that is, that nothing really bad happens like I get hit by a car while I'm wearing it, but in that case my equipment will not be the only thing I'm worried about.It's very flexible. There's a solid outer casing, with four zippered containers that open both from the inside and the outside, all protecting an inner compartment. There are removable inserts, including another zippered bag that velcroes in along the top, that allow you to create multiple compartments in the large inner compartment, so you can adjust things exactly to your needs. So, for example, you can store a large camcorder like my XF100, along with another smaller camera, like my Canon VIXIA HFS10 or you could store a DSLR and a few extra lenses (it comes with a divider that's perfect for holding a DSLR securely). Up front there's a zipped sleeve that would hold a notebook or a book or even an iPad or Kindle. There's also a heavily padded storage space along the back that fits a 15" laptop, such as my Macbook Pro and its protective sleeve; it has a removable divider in there as well, in case you have a smaller laptop and could use the additional space for something else. Additionally, it comes with a removable pouch for supporting a tripod or monopod that you can also strap along the top with an included strap. There are a several additional hooks where, if you supplied the bungee or the straps, you could secure various other items, such as a shoulder mount or a water bottle, along the outside of the pack.
Everything about this signals attention to detail. The zippers run smooth, the clips are easy to open and close, the various inner linings are easy to remove and adjust and replace there are a number of separate compartments, but each is easily accessible from outside without even opening the bag, and also from inside when the bag is open. Everything can be adjusted for a perfect fit. There are convenient places to attach almost anything you'd need, but they aren't obtrusive. They've achieved a very nice balance here between the simplicity that makes the bag look elegant and makes it easy to use, and the complexity that makes it highly flexible, so that many different users with different needs can adapt it for their specific use.
It's ideal for the traveling photographer or videographer. I took this along with me on a documentary shoot in Canada and it worked just fine as a carry-on and I carried it with me wherever I went, on the subway and buses and out walking on the streets. The shoulder straps are highly adjustable and support the weight quite comfortably, and there are chest and waist straps for additional support. It rained a lot while I was gone, and I was very happy that this also comes with a collapsable rain cover to protect the bag and its contents from showers. It also comes with a canvas mat in case you find yourself in settings where you wouldn't want to lay your bag or its contents directly onto the ground.
The only thing that makes this bag not a one-size-fits-all for everyone kind of item is that it is somewhat bulky as it needs to be to carry the range of different items it's designed to carry. For some uses, though say, when all you need is a camera and a mike it might be more handy to have a simpler bag. In fact, Kata has a perfect companion bag to this one, that's designed just for a medium-sized camera or camcorder like the XF100, and a few smaller accessories. I have the Kata CC-191 as well and it's equally well-designed and rugged, but is lighter and easier to lug around and I bring only that when I only want to carry the XF100 and my mike kit.

Case Logic 15.6" Laptop Backpack
I like:general design is clean. Good fit for non fancy business use or just for school.
the internal mash pockets are pretty comfortable easy access for your stuff
internal iPad/tablet padded pocket can fit a MacBook air 13" snugly.
external laptop compartment is interesting and easy to use
the bag can easily fit 2 laptops
the zipper handles can support a lock
the bag is comfortable
the edges of the straps are folded in a way that don't let them dangle, looks less messy
good size: not too big and bulky and not too small and slim.
I don't like:
the bag somehow looks a bit simple or cheap, hard to explain why.
there are no fast access pockets/compartments for stuff like: keys, phone, money, credit card. The external pocket seems to be a better fit for left handed: when I want to reach the pocket, I usually bring it to the front through my right shoulder (since I'm right handed), however the zipper for that external pocket is on the other side making it hard to get thins out.
So if you are a business traveler I wouldn't recommend this bag, but if you are looking for a day to day bag for work, or for school it's a nice looking, nicely sized, bi-sexual backpack.
There is also a compartment for an IPad, Kindle, or similarly sized device.
Overall this backpack has four compartments. The laptop area, the pad area, the larger center area, then a smaller compartment that can be use phones, pens, or other small items.
The backpack is sturdy and well made. The material is strong enough that it can withstand quite a bit of weight without worries of loose stitching. In actuality, if used for a laptop, the backpack probably won't be weighted down with other items. However, there is room and capability to do so within reason.
My 15" laptop fit perfectly in the pocket, very safe and snug. My son has a larger laptop and we tried using the backpack with his as well. Of course, it was too bit to fit in the laptop compartment AND have it zipped. But it did fit snugly in the compartment and, in a pinch, it could be carried there. He was able to fit it into the main compartment of the backpack and there was plenty of room for it. He then placed his cords and accessories in the compartment that was made for the laptop without compromising the safety of his machine. This backpack has so much padding and is so sturdy that it would actually work for a slightly larger laptop. The effect wouldn't be as streamline but it is safer than carrying it in a traditional backpack or without any protection at all.
The fit is comfortable and, for being so padded, there isn't a noticeable weighted feeling when using the backpack.
I am so impressed with this backpack that I will be buying my son one for himself. Even at the list price, this is an excellent investment. I am so impressed with the quality of the material and the stitching that my frugal self would pay full price without blinking an eye.
This would be an excellent graduation gift for a high school student going off to college or for anyone of any age who needs to commute anywhere with a laptop.

This is a very nice-looking, slim and comfortable backpack. I like the sleek black streamlined design, that can pass for almost any use from casual to semi-professional. It works great for carrying my MacBook Pro, along with a few books and papers.There's a padded laptop sleeve that keeps the laptop snug directly against the back. Then comes a larger compartment, that has room for things like books and various equipment, with two internal mesh pockets and a padded sleeve that fits an iPad nicely. Then there's a thinner compartment, with room for papers or a folder or a thin book, with pockets for things like pens and pencils, calculators, phones or mp3 players. Finally, there another outer pocket where you could keep a notebook or a dayplanner or the like.
This is not a bulky and roomy backpack designed to function as a mobile locker, with room for everything and then some. Rather, it's designed for the student or casual professional who likes to travel light with only a laptop and a few other essential items. It'd be ideal for the bicycle commuter, and it works great for someone like me, a teacher who needs to bring a computer back and forth from home to work, and almost always carries home and back just a book or two and a stack or two of papers to grade. It's well built, and nicely padded, without looking rugged. I like it quite a bit.

I received my backpack 2 days after I ordered, with prime membership...I was between this one and the Microsoft Rainer, so I ordered both, but the material from Microsoft wasn't as resistant as this one.

I have to have a see through bag for my job. This seems sturdy and strong. Holds my laptop, huge book, and a few notebooks. This works!
It rained a lot while we were there, and the thick plastic material helped the things inside from getting wet. It is not waterproof (although I don't think it claimes to be...) because water can get in through the zipper area, but on the whole, this backpack kept everything a lot dryer than if we had used a cloth one.
One more thing, it is a lot easier to find things in a clear backpack, so when you are packing a day's worth of park necessities (sunscreen, diapers, fans, snacks, etc), it is WAY easier to find them in this bag. That alone made this purchase worth while. I will definitely be saving this bag for all future theme park visits (even if I don't totally love the style of a clear backpack!!)

Wizards of Waverly Place Backpack - 16"
This style of backpack I was looking for has to be durable and have some padding in it to keep my things where I want them and this seems to fit the bill.Most of the smaller ones I've looked at don't have much of an interior but this one which is larger size or medium has enough fabric inside and out to make me feel confident. That was one of the main reasons I picked this designer again, the others being the details in the design and coloring being that I tend to pick colors that are relaxing and pick me up like blue, purple, lilac etc...
Some of the others listed I wasn't sure about since the shipping dates were extended instead of being listed with the delivery dates the dates were for shipping, and I did want one that would get to me fast.
The extra padding will protect the belongings if I ever drop it so that's another reason to keep this brand in mind. Overall I am really pleased with it and hopeful that it stays in my belongings in as good condition as it came in. Recommend.

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. Very pretty and unique. She loved it! It is kid friendly with round plastic knobs on the end of the spokes. Easy to operate up and down. I did have to return the first one I got as it was defective with a bent up rod, but I received a new one very quickly that was perfect.
This one was for the girly girl and she loves to prance while holding it. It's perfectly sized for a child and easy for her to hold. Opens and closes like a dream.

The fact that I bought this in December and it is now almost June and it is still working is a plus.Most of the children umbrellas that we have purchased have been of poor quality. This one has been great. My 5 year old loves it and she even plays around with it and it still works.
Verge Notebook Case
I was looking for a bag for a laptop I got from a client. I looked at several and was looking for the one the client had and I found it for what I thought was a great price. It is the exact bag. When it arrived it looked new, but after almost slicing my hand open when I felt the broken buckle for the shoulder strap zip tied to the bag 4 times. I really didn't care for the shoulder strap, I can use others I have off of other luggage if I need one. But it would have been nice to know up front it was defective and what that defect was. If I did cut my hand open my lawyers would be handling this now, but for now, here's my review. I never contacted the vendor, not worth the hassle and I have a functional bag in good shape.
