I have a 15.5" Sony Vaio and it fits perfectly in this bag. The bag is well padded (on all sides), has TONS of pockets to hold your umbrella, cell phone, battery pack, waterbottle and more all at the same time. I purchased this bag so that when I travel I can add my purse contents to it and only have to carry one bag. It will EASILY do that and carry more. The fabric is a heavy-duty micro fiber and the handles come wrapped in tissue for protection. The little side bag works great to put your gum, chapstick, nail file, etc. in it. I highly recommend purchasing this bag for your computer!

I agree with some of the reviews that this item does provide laptop cushioning yet there is no way to secure any of your items inside the top does not close! there is no zipper!

Thus, you can put items inside the tote but they will fall out. There is no way that you could bring this through airport security. The moment you lay it on its side, all contents fall out, including your laptop.

The straps are very cheap and will soon break. The straps are configured incorrectly, the picture is not an accurate depiction. There is no way to loop this tote over your shoulder and carry it unless you want thin plastic straps digging into your shoulder.

The material itself is not "microfibre" it's just cheap plastic.

I absolutely 100% adore this bag. It has a sleek look and adjustable straps. There are two side pockets one where you can put your cell phone and one where you can put your sunglasses (or in my case, my car stereo face). Inside, it is easy to keep clean fabric. Two large sections with one section padded for your laptop. There are three or four inside open pockets for organizing other cell phones, keys, etc. There also is a zipper side pocket to put away things you don't necessarily want anyone to see in your bag. The small bag is cute and handy to keep your frequently used items lipstick, a debit card, etc. Love this bag! Great price. You can also put a small photo on the bag tag -personalize it a little.

I've looked at about a million large bags and disliked most of them, so I didn't have high hopes for this one that I ordered sight-unseen. I'm very, very pleased with it.

The padded laptop slot easily takes my MacBook (17" diagonal). The 2 outside pockets keep my 2 most-used things handy (sunglasses and iPhone). There's a little hook for my car key (which you don't actually USE with a Prius you just have to be able to find it to lock the car.) There's a mesh thing that's perfect for a water bottle or umbrella. The lining is nice, practical, smooth black nylon. Plenty of room to throw in gloves, hat, scarf, camera, etc. in addition to regular stuff like wallet & that little bag that comes with it for your lipstick etc. etc. And there are other pockets to organize other things...

OK, the straps are plastic, but they look & feel enough like leather, and you can't get leather at this price (or weight). If I could change anything about this bag, I'd have the heavy-duty black fabric straps that come on Baggallini bags, and I'd add a cross-body long strap. But otherwise this is a great bag, just big enough for the purpose and very very light (until you add the laptop of course). OH! and best of all, it stands up by itself. No leaning or falling over. How great is that?
