We bought two of these for boys' sleepaway camp. The duffel is huge, light weight and durable. They fit everything they needed for two weeks including sports equipment. They returned home in the same condition, nothing ripped, tore or stopped working. The zippers were good quality too. I was worried about the material because of the affordable price, but there was nothing to worry about good, strong, water resistant material. Very happy. Once packed, they are of course heavy, but there is an end strap as well as handles and a shoulder strap, so any combination can be handled by an adult.

Based on the reviews here, I decided to purchase two of these and overnighted them. I was interested in these because of it's weight, which is almost none compared to similar sized suitcases or duffels with wheels. The shipping was perfect, came at 9:30 in the morning, but the product was a bit disappointment for me. The material used in the grreen bag and the black bagsg are different. Green packs small because wheras black is doesn't pack that easy. Black seems to have stronger material.

My primary concern is the size, which is 14x36 inches. The height is about 12 inches, which is a standar duffle bag height. The 14 inches is deceiving, because the two side are circular instead of rectangular. I couldn't fit stuff from a 30x13x12 bag into this one. Because of the circular end, the volume is reduced dramatically. So if you want to put in a lot of stuff, buy a bag with rectangular/square sides, not a circular one.

The straps are held together by plastic thus breaks easily. But if you plan to pack less (volume and weight wise), this could be the one for you. But again why would you buy such a giant bag to pack less...Hope this helps.

I hadn't purchased a duffel bag in years. I came to the realization that I prefer bags with discrete compartments.

Well, I needed a duffle to throw empty shells in, and so I bought two of these bags. A smaller one and a larger one.

They are both awesome duffle bags. I was always loathe to buy duffles because of bad experiences with nylon threading coming apart and zippers getting stuck and ripping. Well, none of that happens with this bag. Now I need to buy another small one. The pocket outside and zippered one on the outside is useful and a nice touch. It's a simple bag that looks like it will hold up to light / medium duty use.
