Love this colorful bag for my 17.3 inch Dell Studio laptop. It is a tight fit, but that is a good thing for toting it around. Can't fit much else in the bag but the computer and a mouse and the cord but I never do put more than that in my computer bag. I always figure if someone grabs my computer bag why should they get my other stuff too. But I love the colors and the material and the shoulder strap. Seems like it will last a while and will do its job well.

sturdy, attractive, light weight, easy to use; would recommend it to others who want to carry their laptop, but not a lot of other things with itI received my bag in a timely manner. I like the color and design on the bag. It is comfortable to carry and i felt there is enough padding to protect my computer. HOWEVER, the picture indicate pockets on the inside. There are not any pockets. And this was one the things that really "sold me" on buying the bag. I wanted something lightweight but with still with some storage. So in that area i am a little disappointed. It means I need a mobile workstation to research.
In my opinion, the best mobile workstation is 17'' MBP. (I'm really disappointed for discontinuity of 17'' MBP)
And this is the best backpack for my 17'' MBP.
I own my computer for more than 2 years and there is no single scratch on it.
Instead of 17'' MPB, the other 17'' machine can be suitable for this, I guess.

It is a nice backpack. A little narrow at the bottom as you see in the photo. Beautifully made with lots of pockets and a nice padded laptop area. Nice material on the outside too. It is a good urban backpack not one for trekking up mountains as you won't fit enough inside it. Great for college or work.

Gregory Women's Jade 28 Backpack
At 5'2" I always struggled to find backpacks that fit me well. I was unsure about risking an online order for a pack I had never seen or tried on, especially as I am curvy and Amazon gave no indication of the length of the waist/hip strap. I needn't have worried as the pack comes with an adjustable strap that is long enough to fit almost anybody. The length of the pack is exactly right, the weight perfectly distributed, and the material and construction are superb. There are plenty of pockets and places to stow gear (even after I added my hydration pack bladder to the pack) and the raincover is a nice added extra. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and the mesh kept me from getting too hot even on 32C days. I love this pack and am just annoyed now that I hadn't found Gregory packs sooner. Mens packs cater to their wider shoulders and backs and, until I got this pack, I had no idea what a difference it makes when a backpack is designed for a woman's build. With a narrower shoulder-width than a man's pack its amazing how much better the weight distribution is.I haven't yet used the rain cover. I was caught in rain on two occasions but wasn't out in it for very long and my gear stayed dry inside.
I chose the colour because it was the cheapest option. In reality its not as bright as the photo here indicates more of a rich, deep jade and really lovely.
It is ideal for both hiking and as a day pack for less strenuous activities. I can see myself getting years of use from this and recommend it to any woman needing a backpack.

This backpack is wonderful. It holds everything I need and more. I love that I can expand it when I need to stuff it with stuff or I can zip it up and make it more condensed when I need less room. The zippers, zipper pulls, stitching and shoulder straps hold up well. I've never had a backpack that holds as much as this one does. I just love it.I have a 15" laptop, extra 4-port USB hub, Logitech Wireless Keyboard K360 Glossy Black (920-004088), Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 with Designed-for-Web Scrolling Vivid Violet (910-003120), Belkin 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports (1 AMP / 5 Watt) and all sorts of extra cords and such, which all easily fit in this backpack with room to spare.
Plus the color matches my hair. =]
I think the only thing I would personally change is the color of the zipper pulls. I hate yellow. Green would be much better. But that's just me.

While it is adequate in size, I did not realize when ordering that the case is narrower at the top. In other words, it is not rectangular with rounded corners, it is more oval with a wider bottom. The zippers are difficult to operate around the corners. All in all, it is sturdy and holds a lot and weighs just a little.

I ordered this for my son who was starting kindergarten. I was a little bit worried that it might be too small for carrying what he needed for school but it's worked great. It's a great size for him not huge on his back not too small either. And it fits a standard size school folder just fine. {He has not needed to carry anything bigger for school. It might not fit a 3 ring binder I haven't tried.} He also has room for extras like his sweatshirt or his show & tell item. He takes a Skip Hop Zoo Insulated Lunch Bag to school and it fits just fine in the insulated cooler part. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this bag for my son who just started K. The size is perfect as it can fit a regular folder and a few books. I use the front cooler for storing snacks. The only complain I have is the side pocket that's supposed to hold a water bottle is too small. You can only fit one of those poland spring 6oz pre-bottled water and it's still very hard to get it in and out. The re-usable bottle I bought does not fit at all. Exactly what I was looking for. Slim and lightweight with plenty of protection form the elements. Like other reviews stated the bag does not hold alot of accesories but that is not what I was looking to do.
I will point out if you are minimalist like myself, its great. If you want to pack books, magazines, misc goods, etc you will run out of space quickly.
My husband does argue the padding might not be enough, especially for a more expensive laptop.

Bought this for my daughter who wanted a kid sized version of my large ALICE bag. No metal frame needed and the straps are made for an adult. The features and quality are great for the price, map pocket in top flap, draw string pouch inside main compartment and a hole in each of the bottom of the 3 outside pouches. Great for use as a mini GOOD bag but the straps won't adjust small enough for my 9 year old to wear comfortably.

This backpack is perfect for school. It has enough room for books without being obnoxiously huge. The inside pockets in the large compartment for pens and small items is nice for keeping things at hand and organized. The padding at the bottom of the laptop pocket is wonderful to prevent damage. Only minor complaint is that I thought it was white and it's more of a really light grey, but it still looks nice. :)

Dakine 26-Litre Varial Pack
I just received this backpack by Amazon Prime. First of all, the quality of this backpack is amazing. I was skeptical at first of how good this would be but I now have completely changed my mind. I am a college student looking for something that would hold up and look nice on my back. I found it. It has multiple pockets and holds enough space for my books and even more. The reason I rated four was that I found a little problem with the way the two straps are joined. They should have used a better method of whether or not you would like to join straps or not. Either way this backpack is really great! Plus Dakine offers Limited Lifetime Warranty!

Targus CityGear Chicago Laptop Backpack
I'm a DJ. My Targus CityGear has survived Burning Man twice (which in itself is amazing), as well as many gigs and airplane trips. It is wonderfully designed and well made. Its capacity is ridiculous -I have not yet found a laptop backpack that will hold as much as this does. In fact that's become a problem: I'm spoiled by it. The drawback is that it doesn't have a ton of padding or much rigidity, and your gear is more likely to become damaged if it gets hit. But since I can get all my gear in this, there's literally no comparison. I've tried high-end camera bags, the UDG Producer's Bag, the Namba Big Studio -all very well made, none of them able to fit my gear. I paid about $60 for it, I think -what a bargain, considering the use I've gotten out of it. I highly recommend this backpack.
It has been my all-time favorite bag! I've used it for my daily train commute downtown for several years, plus for business travel to Europe, Singapore, and even Indiana! It holds everything I need (including laptop, wires, mouse, etc.), it let's me get through security without hassles, and it fits very nicely in overhead luggage compartments.
My first bag has lasted for over six years. A couple of the zipper pulls have split, but otherwise it still works great. That's why I'm getting the exact same bag again!
And I do carry it with a strap over one shoulder. Just right for me!

I was expecting this to be the size of an adult pilot suitcase. It's the size of a small child's backpack. You could not use it as a suitcase. It can hold maybe one outfit. I have never felt so disappointed buying something on Amazon....and I buy a lot of stuff!
