Im a huge fan of Bakuretsu Tenshi. I had to get a bag for school, and since i love messenger bags i decided to get this. its so stong hasnt broken like some bags i have gotten. The only problem is that its not as big as id like. But it is big enough to carry 3 Huge text books and 1 folder. It also has a snap to clip the bag as you can see in the image. But what it doesnt show is that there is 4 more compartments. 2 that can fit a blackberry in each one. There is a zipper compartment which can hold a good bit of stuff. Well thats about all i can say. (sorry if i spelt anything incorrectly. My spelling isnt so great)Kipling Scoop Medium Backpack
medium to this bagpack is not medium to any other bag. it is tiny! really small, and nothing fits. I wrote to them but they said they were based in NY and were hit by Sandy. Im not going to try anymore. It was a gift, not what I expected, and felt bad giving it away, but... it was too late. Make sure you check sizes with Kipling...Belvah Large quilted Camouflage Zippered Backpack - Choice of Colors

Batman 16 Inch Backpack with Padded Chest Plate - Black
My 7 year old son picked this backpack out himself! He loved the front of the backpack. However th zipper broke in several weeks and the bottom tore. By November he had to get a new back pack -that only 4 months of use. This backpack is a good sizefits full sized folders, and his lunch box inside nicely. My only complaint so far is that it only has one zipper all the other backpacks we have had have 2 zippers on the same "zip" so you can make it go both ways... easier for young kids. But this only has oneso you have to make sure you find the right size to zip up, etc.Buy Batman 16 Inch Backpack with Padded Chest Plate - Black Now

The shipping ended up being faster than Amazon said. I ordered on the 8th and received on the 17th so not too bad. When Amazon said it would arrive on the 30th I thought that was ridiculous. The backpack looks well made and will hopefully last my little guys Kindergarten year. The description did say that the backpack came with a "removable cape" and there was no such cape to be found. My son was pretty excited about this aspect and disappointed that there was not one.Want Batman 16 Inch Backpack with Padded Chest Plate - Black Discount?
This pack is perfect for the schizophrenic child who believes he needs armored back-abs to fight crime while walking backwards at night. Or, perhaps, a special gift for that little Bane fan who likes to pretend he's toting the disembodied torso of Gotham City's dark hero. For everyone else, this product is a bit of a freakshow item. But if your aim is to cause uneasy titillation at a birthday party and tick off the birthday child's mom, this is perfect!
ETA: I'm sorry that this review is apparently not well liked by purchasers of the item. Still, it is EXTREMELY strange to create a child's product that will make it seem like they have a disembodied torso on their back. I've shown this item to many people now, and all have agreed it is weird, and not in a fun, whimsical way.
Liberty Bags Large Drawstring Backpack. 8882
The drawstring bags are strong and durable. I can fit anything I want into it. I would have liked for the bags to have had a zippered pocket. And the draw strings themselves seem to be a bit lengthy but these are minor issues. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Other bags that I have had did not contain the space that this one does. I have had the bags for about two months.Oakley Men's Vertical Laptop Bag
I purchased this bag in November of 2010. By July 2012 it has come apart at the seems. Although the design and layout is amazing, the quality is not. I carry an 11" Mac Book Air and an iPad. It was my white collar work brief case. I cannot recommend this bag.I called Oakley Customer Care and they said the bag only has a 30 day warranty. This is a tough briefcase that I bought to replace a beloved REI vertical-loading computer briefcase that was stolen from my car recently. In terms of construction and toughness, it's close to the quality of the REI case (which sadly, is discontinued thus my search for something similar), similar in price.
But there are some design issues where it misses the mark: the loops for pens inside the front compartment are arranged horizontally, which means the pens simply fall out and into the bottom of the compartment. The pockets inside the front compartment seem cheap in terms of quality and construction, compared the main bag, and use velcro where zippers would be expected from a bag in this price range. The eyeglass compartments are fine (one is even lined for eyeglasses), but very small -so eyeglasses re pretty much the only thing that will fit in there -don't even think about a place to put a water bottle.
The computer compartment works fine, but the bag is just narrow enough that file folders have to go in on end -and it's very snug, so not a ton of room for bulky stuff. There's also no zip or storage pocket in the computer compartment for cords, plugs, etc.
The main feature I miss from the REI bag was an easily accessible place to store essentials within reach: wallet, phone, keys, etc. The main front pocket isn't set up very well for this purpose, and the lower front pocket (with the rubber protector pieces) is too small.
Finally, the shoulder strap and handle are excellent and sturdy, but there aren't any skids or feet on the bottom to keep the bag from slipping onto the floor -sort of a major oversight, though again, I'm comparing this to my trusty, stolen REI briefcase!
One pleasant surprise is the very slim pocket above the main front compartment -this turns out to be a great place to put a tablet computer -fits an iPad perfectly.
So, I give it three star for missing on a few details, considering the price tag. Well-built, but not so well thought out.

I love this messenger bag. My previous one was stolen so I had to get me another one. The best one I have ever owned.Read Best Reviews of Oakley Men's Vertical Laptop Bag Here
I travel a lot...and I mean a lot. I loved the look of this bag and figured it must be "bombproof" and purchased this bag for my flights. Like previous reviews I was underwhelmed with the quality of this bag. I carried my laptop, ipad and a moleskin notebook in the main pouch and pens and passports in the other pouches. Not a lot of stuff at all. The bag started to go first on the handle. Not only did the grippy material on the handle fray and rip but the actual handle came apart at the seem. I ended up sewing it back together with dental floss (traveler's secret). Once this problem was fixed the zipper came apart and would fail to secure the bag, after closer inspection the zipper's seem had also come lose and also had to be sewn back together. The plus: The bag does not show dirt and the overall look is very cool. It fits easily under seats and in the overhead bin. The zippers allow for a full "clam shell" open or just enough to get your hands in. I consider this a huge plus as it helps to prevent your stuff from going everywhere. The strap is very comfortable. The pockets make it very easy to organize items in a logical way.
The minus: The sewing and quality control appear to lack. The strap would adjust itself at strange times and where the bag "stayed" on my body was solely dependent on the bags whims.

I'm very happy with this messenger bag, it has enough space to carry my everyday stuff, which equal a 13" laptop, a book, a note pad an my shades. The design is practical and comfortable, the only flaws I perceive are the side compartments which are useless and I would like to have a more cushioned pad for the shoulder strip, just as the handle which is great.
The construction is solid, the zippers are not as great as other Oakley bags I own, but the work.
I recommend the product.
Timbuk2 OCD Packing Folder (Algae Green/Sorbet Green, Medium)
Works just as expected and is a quality made product as I've come to expect from timbuk2. I fit a hoody and three or four t shirts for quick trips (medium sized)This is a very slim shirt folder, just large enough for 1 pair of pants and 1 button up shirt. If you need to pack more than go with something larger. The construction is top notch and will last a lifetime, both Eagle Creek and Sea to Summit make similar products but I got this because it was the least expensive. Although this does not use ultralite Silnylon, the fabric is semi-rigid which is good for keeping your clothes wrinkle free. The zipped sides will not allow you to 'expand' like other brands with folded sides however the zipped sides give this folder more structure. Overall I'm very happy with it, it will easily slip into a messenger bag laptop sleeve designed for 15" laptops. Color is nice too, different than the standard black.Buy Timbuk2 OCD Packing Folder (Algae Green/Sorbet Green, Medium) Now
Quickhaul Backpack
I am thoroughly satisfied with this mid-sized pack! It was able to carry everything I wanted to have in my "bug-out" inventory clothes, food, water, 2-way radios, first-aid, lights, sterno stove, cook set, batteries, maps. Several specialty survival items: trawl/spade, knives, chain saw, emergency tool, fire starter, bivvy bag/shelter, etc. Approx. 30 lbs. It has it's own rain cover and a very comfortable rig that rides well on the hips. This was money well spent!Ohmetric 30076 Notebook Shoulder Case with Removable Workstation and Organizer
I have been using this bag daily for over a month now, and I have been very impressed with the thought that went into its design. Although aesthetically, there is nothing really notable about it, the quality and design of the bag are really exceptional. The interior is lined with bright green and grey nylon fabric, which makes pocket interiors very easy to see. The handle feels sturdier than any other bag I've ever owned, and is very comfortable to grip. The shoulder padding is fixed on the strap, and the strap length is adjustable from either side which allows you to place the strap exactly where you want it. The front clasp is also adjustable to make more room in the front pocket. A large pocket right behind the front flap is closed using only a stitched in magnet, which makes it perfect for keeping papers or a book for easy access. All interior and exterior lining is padded. Every seam and zipper feels very solid, and after a month or so of daily use, the bag looks and feels exactly as it did the day I bought it. I have flown with the bag too, and I can attest to Ohmetric's claim that it is great for getting through security. There are only two negatives I've come across so far. The first is that in the main section there is a removable "organizer" with three pockets. The organizer is great, and fits all the computer stuff I need fine, but it faces inword, and so with the pockets full it can be a bit of a hassle sliding books in next to it. In order to fix this, I just put the organizer behind the document pocket instead of on the velcro, and that completely resolved the issue.
The second issue is that the metal clasps tend to squeak a bit when walking with a full bag. Some WD40 quieted things a bit, but not completely. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the bag, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laptop work bag.
PROS:
* Great build quality
* Excellent design features
* Very lightweight
CONS:
* Not much to look at it
* Strap tends to squeak a bitPurchased this to take my laptop, books, cables, papers, etc. on trips. It is just the right size to carry what I need not too small to carry a lot and not too big to be easy to handle. I do not use the organizer or workstation, but I can see how it would be useful to some. I also like the single handle (rather than 2) at the top much easier to grab and go. Lots of pockets and places to store things.

I am a woman who travels frequently for business. I have been looking for the perfect briefcase for my laptop. This is it. It slides on the handle of my rolling carryon suitcase. It has a nice area for a laptop (actually, I'm now using a netbook for travel). There is a side for files, a side for the powerstrips, mouse, recharger for cell phone, and that is stuck in with velcro so it is removable. There is even a secret zippered compartment. I love the green lining that makes the stuff that sifts to the bottom easy to find. It is very thoughtfully designed. I love it. So few things you buy are better than you expected. This is not just better -it is BEST!(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)The Ohmetric 3-in-1 Notebook Shoulder Case with Removable Workstation and Organizer disappointed me. For basic users, the positives may make this case good enough. But for frequent business travelers or commuters, the flaws are hard to ignore. Given the high MSRP & the large number of better cases out there, I see no reason to purchase this case unless it's at a steep discount. Even then, you might want to consider alternatives.PROS:
++ Adequately sized for your laptop (up to 15.4 inch), accessories & documents
++ Decent quality exterior fabric that appears to be polyester or nylon, though it's not specified
++ The shoulder strap has an extra thick cushion for comfort
++ Rear flap allows you to secure the bag to your carry-on luggage handle
++ Buckles and strap loops are made from a sturdy metal, superior to the typical plastic
++ Light colored interiors (grey & green) make finding your things easier
++ Extra cushion provides protection to the laptop compartment
++ Nice extras, like a zippered document case and a magnetic clasp for the front pouch
++ Velcro straps to secure the mobile organizer
++ Rubber coated metal zipper pulls are sturdy
CONS:
-The mobile organizer and the hard-shell platform seem cheap and will likely be throw-away accessories for many
-Only has one handle! Consider the Ohmetric Notebook Briefcase with Removable Workstation and Organizer if you want two handles and like the set's features, but be warned that set is twice as much
-The bag tips over; rounded feet are poorly placed and are an unstable base for standing the bag up
-Front accessories pouch is too tight to squeeze things into and use efficiently
-There are no side pouches or zippered pockets; this standard feature is sorely missed on this bag
-Document pouch is too loose to hold documents, but too shallow to squeeze binders into
-No internal key rings or latches in the bag or mobile organizer
-No headphone port or MP3 player pouch, which almost all new bags include
-Despite being advertised as "checkpoint friendly," this case and it's accessories are designed so that TSA will still require you to remove your laptop for screening
-The listed MSRP is absurd given the overall cheap feel of the organizer & platform
CONCLUSION
This bag is functional and it does have some positives. But the cheap feel and gimmicky accessories are not consistent with the bag's high MSRP. Some design elements could have been improved to make this bag more functional for business travelers & commuters. You have to really study the product picture to realize this bag only has one handle. It seems to be sewn into the body well, but I'm still concerned it won't be durable enough for the harsh commuting & travelling I have to do.
In light of the many reservations I have about this bag, I would recommend that you review the alternatives. Some, like the Targus Checkpoint-Friendly Air Traveler Backpack actually provide the travel friendliness that this bag advertises. And if you need a shoulder bag, others like the Targus Metro Roller give you more storage and the added benefit of a luggage handle and wheels. Even more basic options like the Belkin 15.4-Inch Messenger Bag are worth considering. For the record, I own all of those bags and many others. The Ohmetric will not likely get much use on my future business trips. The platform & mobile organizer looked great in the product picture, but in person they look cheap & of limited use.
Happy shopping.

Kensington K62533US Contour Balance Notebook Roller Bag in Onyx, Fits Most 15-Inch Notebooks
Have owned this bag for about 2 years and thought I'd weigh in on it. I use this bag weekly for business travel and the two things that drew me to it were the light weight (empty) and the design/colors it's not your typical black rolling laptop bag.Pros: It's cute, have gotten many compliments on it.
It's relatively light, though when loaded with a laptop and other essentials, it's still 12+ pounds.
The side pocket for water or soda outstanding functional design, folds in, secures with internal magnet when not in use
Multiple organization sections room for files, section for pens, larger area for bulkier things, i.e., power cord, makeup bag, etc.
Fits in every overhead bin I've encountered (small regional planes) but not under all seats.
My Dell laptop fits perfectly in the padded section, zipper design allows for fast, easy access at airports.
Cons: The single stem retractable handle looks cool but makes it impossible to set another bag on top flips off to the side.
The side bottle pocket fabric is starting to shred lighter nylon fabric is not as sturdy.
The wheels are now very noisy going to try some WD40 to see if that helps but it's very annoying.
The retractable handle stops at each section don't hold the handle up anymore.
If you have a lot of things in the front sections, it tends to tip forward the stabilizer bar on the bottom front should be taller.
The contour factor for carrying would be great if there was any way to attach a shoulder strap, but there isn't. The mfg. literature says it comes with
a shoulder strap but it doesn't they use the same literature for their smaller shoulder bag.
I'm now looking to replace this bag because of the noisy wheels and the shredding fabric. Nothing I'm finding comes close to the storage and fun factor of this bag, but the fact that I can't sit a smaller bag (purse) on top of it while pulling (the single stem doesn't work for that, smaller bag flips off to one side or other) would be enough to keep me from purchasing this bag again.I was looking for a rolling laptop bag that looks like a women's tote when carried and was so thrilled to find this one. It looks great and and hold much more than it looks like it would. I love the water bottle holder. There is room for files and notebooks, a small make up bag and purse. Seems very durable too. Please note: there is no shoulder strap as the described.

I finally found a stylish and functional solution! Everyone who sees this wants one. It is small enough to easily manuever but at the same time has plenty of room for all of my stuff. It carries a ton of weight easily and the wheels are large and roll well even over uneven surfaces and curbs. The handle is study and doesn't twist or flex. The side cup holder folds shut and secures with a magnet when not in use. I have never had this bag perform the dreaded side roll or tip while I am walking along. It moves very smoothly and, a huge plus, is super quite even on tiled surfaces. The way it is made it doesn't bump into your legs while you carry it by the double strap handle. I can't think of anything that could be added to this bag to make it any more functional or attractive. I am in love! I am planning to order another one of these just in case they ever stop making them. The price is more than a steal when compared to other bags of MUCH less quality! If you need a rolling bag, buy this one! This is a good-looking feminine bag. I've had it a week here are my thoughts.
Pros:
Cute
Lots of places to stash small goodies (newspapers, magazines, pens, kleenex)
Slim look handle
Clear wheels
Cons:
Handle a bit tricky to extend/put back; wobbly
No shoulder strap, no hooks for a strap should you want one
A bit on the heavy side for such a small bag (5 lb 5 oz)
Not at all quiet on asphalt
Magnetic-closed bag straps are about 2-3" too short to allow carrying it comfortably on the shoulder, so not at all sure why the "Air-Flo Contour (TM) Panel" is even there to "dissipate heat and hug the body for greater comfort." This is the biggest reason it lost a star (along with no shoulder strap). It's awkward to carry.
The video is simply a quick and dirty look at the bag's configuration:
front pocket for pens and stuff with zipper pocket
large outside slip magazine pocket
larger zippered pocket with divider (same depth as the magazine pocket = 0)
main zippered pocket with quilted notebook holder I put a tape dispenser in the bottom to show the depth available (my laptop is in the bag)
bottle holder on the outside with magnets to keep it closed when not in use
zippered handle storage
zippered back compartment with four elasticized mesh pockets this is 2-2.5" deep and is divided by the handle
smaller outside slip magazine pocket
Largest dimensions: 17.75 W x 7.25 D x 14.75 T inches (without straps)I have used a number of computer bags over the years and needed to convert to a wheeled version for ergonomic reasons. I disliked many of the options because they not only looked heavy and industrial but were just stiff and klunky to use. This one is nice looking, light and practical. The pockets are a nice combination for papers and notebooks as well as cords, thicker items that need a bit more space and protection. It's easy to access all of the pockets. I showed up at my office with it(healthcare field) and 3 of my coworkers immediately went and purchased it as well. We could use some other colors so they don't get mixed up. By the way, I took it on vacation recently and it also fits nicely under the seat on planes. I haven't found anything I dislike about it yet.

15 Inch Classic Green Peacock DOUBLE Sided Print Design Dual Compartment Laptop Carrying Case Noteb
On the sixth day of use carrying only my 15" MacBookPro and the cord the strap on this bag burst its stitching. The strap then unwound from the bag, dropping and breaking my 15" MacBookPro. The repair cost for my laptop is going to be phenomenal. Looking now, the other end of the strap is hanging on by only one thread. After six days of use. Absolutely do not trust the straps on this bag.Its nothing fancy, but exactly what I needed light wight perfect size and has an extra zipper area for cords.I was very impressed for the price. I just bought a 15.3 inch laptop and it fits perfectly with the cord I also put a notebook and pens in the front pocket. The print is on both sides.l I would definatly recommend.Bag met expectations on the surface, but on the first use, the side pocket zipper became stuck and then broke. It looks nice, but it not a well-made product. I have sent this item back to return it. If the zipper broke on the first use, I worry how long the whole bag will last. This was a gift for my sister who is obsessed with peacocks, and she LOVES it. Great product for the cheap price!ShedRain Auto Open & Close Super Slim Umbrella - Solid Colors
Very compact when folded, about 0.25" shorter than described at 7.5" actual length-awesome.However, arc is described as 40" on the ShedRain site, and when measured in reality it is only 34". It's a tiny umbrella, but the coverage area is also tiny!
Was purchased to replace an old Doppler umbrella that was 9" long and had a 38" arc... unfortunately this umbrella hoped to be a suitable replacement, and while it sort of is, it also in many ways is not due to the significantly smaller than expected size. Had it been described accurately by Shedrain I would have had appropriate expectations instead of disappointment!
Case Logic ZLCS-117 Check Point Friendly 17-Inch Laptop Case (Black)
When I first got it I was really looking forward to the check point friendly feature. I travel a lot and bought this bag specifically for this function. While passing through a checkpoint in JFK International Airport just yesterday (16th March), I was refused when I left my laptop in the bag split open as instructed. When it went under the scanner I was instructed to do it over, and this time take it out the bag. I tried to explain how the bags works but it was futile. This also happened in two other airports in two different countries recently.Another thing i noticed (which was kind of annoying) is that the same zip that splits the bag in half keeps opening up a little when its on one shoulder. I think it should have some kind of hook or something in the new design (if it's going to have one obviously)
On a lighter note it looks professional and neat without all those straps hanging everywhere like other brands. It feels durable when you hold it but it didn't get a long usage test yet.
Hope this helps..... Oh yes... I like this! But let's first put it into perspective, this isn't a magician's case. You're not going to get more than a day's worth of wearing apparel (and it had better be business casual apparel as well) inside along with your laptop and other techie stuff. But for a single overnight trip, this is by far the best marriage of utilitarian design with style that I've seen. The size of this even makes it a suitable option for those flights where fate (or traffic) has put you in the very last boarding group and "under the seat" is the only option for a carryon.
I won't get into the discussion with regards to the accuracy of TSA-friendly etc., as it's always been my experience that the TSA folks can be just as picky as they want. But it is convenient enough to pull the computer out and place it back in after passing the x-ray.
Actually, I can see a lot of people just using this as something of a mega-briefcase. You know the ones; the sales people with loads of brochures, the lawyers with tons of papers and the office jocks that have to tote along their softball or gym clothes.
Only time will tell as to the durability of the Caselogic 17 incher, but my inspection can't find any noticeable flaws or cut corners. I suspect this will last me for some time to come.

I had purchased this for Dennis, so I had him help me do the review. Here is a Video Review explaing every detail of this item. I hope it helps.
From what I seen, personally.. The item felt very sturdy, strong, and it was a nice size. It had a lovely laptop case that fit perfectly inside, also had tons of zippers in the front. He explains a lot in the video. He used the item a couple times. One time he flew with the item, when he went to Texas. The airport did ask him to take the laptop out of the slot, but he didn't have to open the bag that the laptop was in. You understand? (he explained this to me since I question him about these things, so I can review them)

I work at a university and need to transport various papers and sometimes bulky textbooks. I wanted a backpack to replace what I used to carry: a Land's End briefcase and a separate laptop bag. In buying a backpack, my criteria were:1) My 13-inch MacBook must fit. It does, no problem. It can hold a substantially larger laptop, but I'm not sure how large. There's a lot of space around my laptop though. The padding is substantial and seems to be adequate.
2) I wanted the backpack to look neat without a lot of straps and stuff hanging loose and no open external pouches. I wanted it to be as streamlined as possible. This one is. About the only thing hanging loose are the zipper pulls, but they're really quite inconspicuous. I like the velcro thingies that keep the excess shoulder strap wrapped up and out of the way. I think I would rather carry a briefcase in a more formal business situation, but this could work in a more casual business setting.
3) I wanted a backpack that could carry all my stuff. It has a fair amount of carrying space for stuff besides the laptop. A lot of pockets in a few compartments. In the main compartment, I carry some folders, maybe a textbook or two, some small stuff and my lunch. One thing that I would have liked different would be one or two more small interior pockets at different heights. As it is, the small stuff tends to all drop to the bottom of the backpack. If the small stuff were spread out more, the backpack could be a little flatter and stuff would be more accessible. That's just a minor preference though and not a major complaint. This backpack can't carry ALL of the stuff that I used to carry in my briefcase and laptop bag, mostly because my lunch would take a beating, but I probably hauled around too much stuff before anyway. This backpack has a lot of space in it though and it really is well-designed.
4) I wanted it to be well made. Overall, the backpack is well constructed. The zippers are sturdy and stay closed. I don't see any apparent weak spots in the construction. The shoulder straps are nicely padded and comfortable. The material seems to be very strong. The single carrying handle on top is adequately padded and appears to be sturdily attached.
I have not flown with this yet so I have not tried out the butterfly feature that supposedly lets you run it through security without taking out your laptop, but the mechanism is nicely designed and quick to use and it would be extremely convenient if the security people let you do it. It would be easy enough to remove the laptop if necessary, so it's not a big deal. A couple of the smaller compartments are very easy to access and would be nice for grabbing boarding passes quickly when whipping through the airport. The flap that lets you slip the backpack over the pull handle of a carry-on bag is nice too. This backpack would be great to travel with. I would use a regular carry-on bag for clothes and all to be stuffed in the overhead bin, and this backpack would be the bag I keep with me and stow under the seat.
When I was shopping for this backpack, the only reviews I found appeared to be for a very different bag, so many of the comments do not apply to this backpack. I am not sure, but I suspect that this is the next generation of the CLBS-116. Some of the comments about that backpack do not apply to this one. For example, I have never had the side zippers for the butterfly feature creep open inadvertently. Someone complained that the CLBS-116 has no opening for headphones to fit through. The ZLBS-116 has no dedicated headphone opening either, which is fine with me. I'm sure I could run the wire through one of the zippered openings if I really wanted to.
Overall, I'm very happy with this backpack. I would buy it again and I recommend it.
UPDATE: I flew from Minneapolis to Orlando and back in early January, 2012. At both airports, I was able to use the butterfly feature and leave my laptop in the backpack when I put it in the scanner. That was nice. Unfortunately, I was so distracted by whether they would gripe about the laptop that I forgot to take out my liquids, so they pulled me aside and searched my suitcase. But not my backpack, so that worked. The backpack is still holding up very nicely. No wear or tear, other than some minor loose fuzzies on the outer edges where it sometimes rubs against things. But that is a cosmetic issue that can be easily remedied and it doesn't affect the structure or function of the backpack. I would still buy this backpack again and I still recommend it.

The true test of this roller was taking it to India, loaded with my laptop, documents, clothes, and shaving set. It took a beating, and it never failed. With the numerous escalators, steps, customs, security checks, rough environmental conditions at my destination, etc., it came back looking good as new and held everything together in a compact manner after such a rough round-trip. The handle stayed sturdy even after being expanded/collapsed many times. I was surprised with the roller's capacity, and loved the laptop sleeve WHICH I NEVER REMOVED when my laptop went through security checks in the USA, Europe, and India. It was a great investment.Black Diamond Hollowpoint Camping Backpack
I use the Black Diamond Hollowpoint day pack for trad climbing in Yosemite and for big wall free climbs. It holds everything I need on the wall including water, food, guide book, headlamps, camera, sun block, approach shoes, etc. It's super durable and very well constructed and lasts many climbing seasons. If you want to go as light as possible but still bring the essentials, this pack is perfect! It is minimalist. All loading is done from the top. It does have a small zipper opening on the front with pen pockets and clip. Materials and zippers are of great quality.Buy Black Diamond Hollowpoint Camping Backpack Now
This bag is great for a day at your local crag. I use it to carry some of my gear around when spending the day out climbing. On weekend trips I bump up to my bigger bag and use this as a haul bag on any multipitch. Great all arounder!Read Best Reviews of Black Diamond Hollowpoint Camping Backpack Here
No complaints! it's compact yet can hold 20L. Very comfortable and not restrictive when climbing or running.Good looking bag as well!I like a few extra pockets in my pack but nothing crazy. Also, I am consistently amazed at the amount of stuff I can fit in it. I have found BD products hold up well consistently and so far after a few months this pack is still like new.
Powerbag Business Class Laptop Backpack with Battery for Charging Smartphones, Tablets and eReaders
I'm a RoadWarrior. I have been saying for years that the perfect backpack would have a power distribution system of it's own so when I get to my room, I have only to plug my backpack into the one available power outlets (usually only one) and charge my devices. This bag is even better than I had imagined because now...when I am at the airport (where power outlets are even less abundant ) I can still charge my devices from it's built in battery. It has lots of compartments and pockets (frankly there are never enough of those) for all my junk. It even has a hidden compartment that I keep a spare ID and credit card for emergencies. I think it's good looking too, often looks and functionality are at cross purposes...but this bag has both. The zipper action is smooth. I don't know what else they could have done better. Congratulations FUL.I just used this for a vacation that involved a thirteen hour flight each way, with waiting at airports and all the usual stuff. It worked beautifully. We were able to recharge the iPad and phone while waiting in a hotel lounge with minimal outlets. It does charge slower than a wall outlet, but it does the job. Also, during the vacaion, I discovered that I didn't have a charger that worked on my Kindle, and used the backpack to charge that.It is easy to carry, not too heavy unless you really overpack it. Because of the charging battery, it doesn't have a huge amount of space, but it's adequate to bring all the stuff you really need to carry onto the plane. I would definitely recommend this.
The laptop holder section does unzip from the rest of the backpack, and the U.S. airports did let us run it through the scanner without removing the laptop. The foreign airports did not.Works great, has the room for all my stuff, long lasting battery, works for all my electronics. Glad I bought itDoes everything it says it does....would recommend it. Was able to charge my iPad, iPhone and Blackberry all at the same timeHave been using this bag for the past week or so. I do like the fact that there are numerous pockets throughout this bag to store all of your gadgets, and office gear. The bag looks good, but not sure how durable it will be compared to the SwissGear bags that I have used in the past. The chargeing function is the main reason for switching, and I look forward to using this bag on a daily basis.
Heys Luggage Britto Landscape Flowers Hardside Rolling Suitcase
I did not use it yet on a trip. The case is solid and I am sure I will see it on theluggage carousel. It is very pretty. I hope nobody steals it. My feeling is that there
is less room inside than with a canvas suitcase which has some give room. On the other
hand, the zipper on my canvas suitcase was ready to break. This has a very solid zipper
and will not break. Also plastic containers inside are very handy for liquids since you
cannot bring them on you carry ons. Last time I lost a good tube of suntan lotion to
the TSA agent. The lock is approved by the TSA agents which is good. The handle retracts
easily and it seems to roll well. They give you a nice cotton sack to store the case so it
will not collect dust. On the whole, I think it was worth the money because it is very
pretty and solid. If it had more room inside, I would have given it a 5.
Petunia Pickle Bottom Women's Boxy Backpack Diaper Bag, Black Currant
After dealing with a diaper bag that I hated for over two years, I decided I needed to find the perfect one before my second child came, and this bag is it. I'm not kidding when I say I looked at practically every bag on the market today. I looked in person, read reviews, and watched video reviews. I had a long list of requirements, and here is where this bag fits my requirements. It's black, so it won't get dirty.
It's plain enough that my husband will carry it.
It has a light-colored interior, so things don't get lost.
I wanted two outside cup-holder pockets (one for each kid), with pockets big enough to fit the bulkiest sippy cups.
I couldn't decide between a messenger bag and a backpack. This is both. I've read some reviews that the backpack part wasn't comfortable for people. But honestly, I am just happy to have both options of messenger and backpack.
I did NOT want a magnetic closure. Things were constantly falling out of my last bag.
Had to be durable, especially if I was going to splurge.
Had to be big enough to pack essentials for two kids, without being so big that it wouldn't fit in the bottom of my stroller.
Here are some bonuses about this bag that I just love.
I love the changing area that's kind of built into the bag. And I'm glad that the changing pad also detaches.
I love that the flap that covers the bag is Velcro because I can reach in for quick access to the changing area for things like a pacifier, without having to struggle with a zipper.
I like how sturdy the Velcro flap is. I've had my pocket picked before, and I feel like if someone wanted to get in my bag for my wallet while I was wearing this as a backpack, I would hear the the Velcro opening.
This bag is gorgeous. The hardware is beautiful. The embroidery is stunning. It's the nicest bag I've ever owned and I can see using it as a carry-on for airplane travel even with older kids.
The only potential flaws that I can see coming up are that the inside isn't waterproof so the cloth may get dirty. And I'm curious to see how the embroidery holds up. At least this bag is black on black, so I feel like pulls won't show as much on some of the more colorful designs.
** update ** The inside and changing pad, while not plastic, are water resistant and wipe clean. I am really hard on my belongings, and the chenille is holding up well. There is some tiny, very very slight pilling that probably only I notice, and only because I'm looking for it. Still love this bag.I received this bag in the 'Night Blooming' print before my baby arrived, and after using it for about a year, I cannot wait to replace this diaper bag with something else. I seriously do not understand the hype about this bag at all, besides the Petunia Pickle Bottom brand name?
Here are the good things about the bag:
Beautiful print, I get random compliments on how beautiful this bag is all the time
Has removable straps for both shoulder carrying and backpack
Has a nice padded changing pad included
Here are the things I don't like about this bag:
There are only two non-elastic, narrow but deep outside pockets. Anyone with toddlers will know this is not a good thing! Now that my baby is almost a year old, I need quick and easy places to store toys and other things that I want to pull out in a hurry, and these outside pockets are terrible. First, the openings aren't elastic, so the Tommy Tippee sippy cups that I use barely fit in there and have to be jammed in after stretching out the opening as far as I can. Then, the pockets are narrower at the opening, and are deep. So whatever I put in there, sinks really far down and I have to get my hand in there (I have small hands and it's still not a very big opening) to try to fish out things.
The flap. I have the velcro version, and bought the new 'Hush' magnetic converter, but found that the magnetic closure is way too weak, especially when you have a full bag. Also, this flap is basically useless. It is double-layered, and if you fill your bag, and then pick it up, the flap gets all distorted depending on which strap you use and if it's not perfectly balanced. So the entire bag ends up looking weird and bulgy, especially since the flap has two layers and each layer can stretch in a different direction, so the side of the flap that is velcroed stays in place, but the top layer gets pulled in whatever direction the straps and gravity take it. All the flap does is add extra bulk to this bag.
The changing pad, while nice, is velcroed really strongly to the front of the bag. Strangely enough, the velcro here is way stronger it seems than the velcro that attaches the flap to the bag. So it's hard work ripping off that velcro when you have only one hand free, and then you have to unzip it loose as well if you dno't want to use it attached to the bag (e.g. on an airplane). The pad is nice and padded, but this also adds a lot of bulk to the front of the bag. Oftentimes this bag is so bulky after just putting in a few things that it resembles a ball more than a "box", as the name would suggest.
The clips. I have the valet stroller clips, and while those are nice, the clips that are provided on the bag have a hole only big enough to fit one clasp. So if you have the shoulder strap attached to the holes, you will have to unhook those and clip them on in the narrow slot that is meant to loop the strap through.
I sit here, frustrated enough with this bag to actually sit down and write this review, while I await anxiously for my new Storksak diaper bag to arrive. This bag is going on eBay as soon as the new bag comes in.

From the perspective of a man who doesn't want to be carrying around a girl's purse everywhere, I actually like this diaper bag. I prefer the strap over the shoulder even though my wife prefers the backpack setup, but even as a backpack it works fine over the shoulder (just not as long). The texture gives the bag some interest without looking too "girly" (although the texture can also fray a little bit after a lot of use). The color scheme of black and green is also a nice gender-neutral color that doesn't embarrass me too much when I walk in a crowd (what man wants to carry around a bright pink bag over his shoulder, especially if the baby is a boy!)Apparently the brand is a big deal with women so I also often hear ladies commenting about how they love the bag. To me, it's basically just a good quality, gender-neutral bag. A little expensive but I'd rather this than other bags that my wife pointed out to me.
CONS:
The only real con I have found with this bag is the velcro. If you have the bag loaded (diapers, wipes, bottles, cereal, change of clothes, nursing cover, etc.) and you pick it up by the backpack strap, the velcro almost always comes loose or comes un-velcroed (spelling?) entirely. I think I would prefer a magnetic button or some other sort of enclosure for the front flap to stay closed.
UPDATE (1/18/2012):
We RETURNED this bag this week in favor of the newer model Fall 2012 Petunia Pickle Bottom Embossed Boxy Backpack Central Park North Stop. The velcro "con" I mentioned above was finally too much for us to handle. We would sometimes forget to zip up the bag and just close the flap over the top. Then when we would be carrying it as a backpack (1 of the 2 carrying modes), the velcro would fail and the contents of the bag would spill out. We only had a change of clothes, some diapers, wipes, Desitin, a bottle, and that's about it so it's not like we were overfilling the bag. The velcro just really is that loose. The company obviously found out the velcro was a bad idea on anything but small children's shoes and the newer model now has magnets as well as 2 levels of snaps (for normal fit and larger fit in case you are loading in a lot of stuff). The newer model also seems like it has a slightly larger capacity.
I wrote reviews on many of the items that go inside this bag (bottles, containers, nail clippers, etc.) so check out my other reviews. And let me know how I'm doing!

I love this diaper bag. I have been looking for a great diaper bag for many months and I finally stumbled upon this one. The bag is very well made. The fabric is very attractive and it is very soft. It has plenty of compartments for all of the baby necessities. It also had holders on the sides for cups and bottles. I also love how the front opens up into a changing station. It can be worn as a backpack which is very convenient and comfortable, however, I bought the straps that allow you to attach it directly to your stroller handle. This is the absolute best feature! It doesn't take up any space in my stroller storage and I don't have to carry it around. This bag is a little pricey but definitely worth it.Want Petunia Pickle Bottom Women's Boxy Backpack Diaper Bag, Black Currant Discount?
Bought this as a gift for a new baby. The mother was very pleased with it. The bag is very attractive with a slight felt like pattern on it. It makes it "carryable" by Dad as well with the black color. The inside of the bag is a nice light green color. The front folds out into a diaper changing pad that is removeable to be easily washed. The bag itself is quite large with multiple pockets to stow a variety of baby goods.
We bought the additional clips with it so it can be hung from a stroller. Or, you have the choice between a shoulder strap or backpack style straps for carrying.
