Love the case_ it's a great color and it fits pretty well. They're a foam insert that comes with the case that I keep in there for added protection. the foam insert is about 0.5inch thick and without it my mac is a bit loose/ not bad though. I just like to have it snug inside.
I didn't realize how OCD I was about organizing until I started diaper bag shopping!! I purchased so many bags over the past few years and I had issues with all of them not fitting my specific needs: either not enough compartments, or if there were compartmentsthey weren't usable sizesor they were designed to where if you actually use the pockets then one pocket would block anotherOR the diaper bags didn't have an appropriate closure, or they toppled over rather than standing-you get the picture!

I love this diaper bag! For months I stubbornly believed that any diaper bag would do, so was using a basic, cheap bag for months. I finally got sick of not being able to find things and decided to look for a new bag. I love this bag and it has made life so much easier. I AGONIZED whether to get the BFF or Be Prepared. I ended up getting both and returning the Be Prepared. Here's the deal ladies. The BFF is a little smaller than you think, and the Be Prepared is a little bigger than you think. So you have to make a choice -do you want a super cute bag that you'll want to take with you everywhere and is not a pain to lug around, but you'll be forced to pack a tiny bit lighter than you might like? OR do you want a bag where you can throw in your every whim, but it'll be heavy and look a little awkward as a messenger bag. I ultimately decided that if I got the Be Prepared, I'd probably end up wanting to leave it in the car or throw just what I need into the stroller, thus defeating the whole purpose of having everything you could possibly need with you. So I went with the BFF and I have to say I am so happy! My husband even likes it. Some of my favorite features are the handle on top, the strap (it stays put!) and the changing pad it's not too bulky just right. At first I wasn't a huge fan of the prints but now I'm loving my "fun bag" and embracing the crazineses of it (I have royal envy). The neon green inside doesn't even bother me. Now if you have multiples or cloth diapers, you will want to go with the Be Prepared .. just make sure you have a nice hubby who will carry it for you. Ordered this backpack for my daughter to start 1st grade. She loves it! It is a little on the large size, but all the extra pockets are a nice added touch, including the side mesh one. Just got this for my Samsung Chromebook and it works perfectly. Computer fits in snugly with room for a couple flat cables or documents and not much more. The chromebook's adapter will not fit in. Also there is no handle or strap if you are curious.
I got this version over the pro model because its a bit smaller. It is small. It fits my nikon d50, 70-210 lens and some filters in the bottom pocket just fine. The top large compartment has ample space for flashes, a sweater, or lunch, what ever you may need on a given day hike. And the top soft compartment for your phone and wallet is very nice. The rain bag that hides away in the bottom is nice, but should have a better way to tighten it onto the bag. It was pulled off fairly easily by passing sticks and bushes when we were passing through them in the rain. A little frustrating but a very minor problem. The compartment for the hydration pack has room enough for my 3 L camelbak bladder, which is very nice.

There have been enough reviews of this backpack that I don't need to add much, but to say it's heavier than the Tenba and a few shades darker than the photo leads you to think. I'm carrying a D90, SB600 flash, 55-300mm f3.5-5.6, 17-50mm f2.8, and 35mm prime lenses, plus a few little accessories and sometimes monoor tri-pod to outdoor events and on walks through woods. Although there is room, I appreciate the way it's organized (it's smart to have side access and to compartmentalize top from bottom), and like the comfort (it has a curved back and well padded straps), I believe I'll need to exchange this pack for one that is lighter in weight and color. When the sun beats down on your pack from March to November, you realize pretty quickly that you have to have light tan! I primarily will use this for hikes 4 hours or less. Took this out for the first time yesterday, and was very impressed. My camera kit fits nicely, is secure, and easy to access (though it is a smaller kit as I have a Sony Nex 5), and there are plenty of pockets/space for everything a hiker needs to bring along. I am really size conscious with pack's, and love all of the thought that went into designing a high end camera/activity pack. I've been looking for a day hike pack, the main purpose of which would be to protect my DSLR gear. My Canon T1i with the 18-55 attached, the 55-250 telescopic, and 55mm fixed (small lens) were crammed in there. I felt like the camera body was going to get scratched every time I put it in/took it out. I also couldn't configure it to a point where I didn't feel that the camera body was going to just fall out when I unzipped without it being very difficult to get out of the bag. The other complaint I had was that the water sleeve pocket with padding (the part that would be flush against your back) was very hard and curved in toward my back, making it very uncomfortable on my upper back. I may have a somewhat bony back, but it would have taken a lot softer padding to make it comfortable. So it's going back.. and my search continues.
I bought a new unibody MacBook Pro with 17" screen back in Sept 2009. At the same, I decided that my Victorinox leather briefcase wasn't the best way to cart around all the junk I carry with me. I decided to move to a backpack. Therein lay my problem which this STM sleeve solved. Some of the backpacks I looked at had a removable sleeve that allowed you to skip thru TSA checkpoints without totally exposing the MacBook to scratches. Then, there were otherwise attractive backpacks that were designed with a non-removable padded compartment. I didn't want to be restricted in my choice of backpacks so I decided to look for a sleeve that would work in any bag. Next problem.....if a sleeve was going to be used in a backpack, it had to be top loading. Almost all the sleeves out there have zippers running down the long side not the top loading shorter side. Arrrgh!

First, let me say that I've owned the sleeve for the 15" Macbook Pro as well as an STM Backpack. All of these products are incredibly well thought out and constructed. In the time I've been using them, I've never had a zipper fail on me, or a rip occur. Certainly, this is not a case that will take a "licking and keep on ticking", but it is good to protect your notebook in a briefcase or backpack. It resists the occasional splash of coffee, and cleans up easily. The padding is adequate for the protection it affords, and the lip at the top inside, under the zipper, is a great improvement over other cases. It protects the ports on the side of the notebook. This is especially valuable with the new lightning bolt technology, as adding this isn't exactly cheap! Take it from me, this is the best thing from down under in a long time. Did a LOT of searching on Amazon for just the right case and I am very happy with the purchase. Fits my Macbook Retina like a glove, including the external mouse mini USB plug that I can just leave in my Mac. There is complete zipper protection on both sides of the inside of the case to prevent scratches and the inside lining is very soft. I needed this sleeve for transporting my Mac in my backpack, and for resting my Mac on something when typing on hard surfaces (desks/tables). Sleeve is slim, but cushioned and doesn't feel cheap. The portfolio looks nice and has several useful pockets. However, the biggest issue is that the notepad slot only supports a maximum width of 8.25". If you do not intend to include notepads of standard paper width, then it's amazing. Otherwise, consider another option.

I just purchased this bag to supplement my eBags Weekender Convertible (which is a great bag that I use a lot, but it's just a little too big sometimes). This was one of the lightest bags I could find that is not a fold-into-itself super ultralight. Un-expanded, it's the about size of a regular day packs, and I can easily use it for that purpose. When it's expanded though, it's just large enough to use as my main bag if I'm travelling light.

I purchased 2 of these backpacks for my sons in elementary school which requires clear backpacks. I selected this particular style because I thought it would last longer with the fabric bottom and back. At first, I was very pleased since the plastic seemed so much thicker than packs we've had in the past. However, the first week they used them, the plastic cracked wherever it was bent. Soon those cracks led to tears. I used packing tape to help patch the holes, but new ones just arrived at the edge of the tape. We didn't have these packs one month before they totally fell apart and the boys' school things fell all over the ground. My oldest son is in 3rd grade, so he carries books home daily. My youngest son is in kindergarten. All he brings home are worksheets in a folder. Both bags cracked and tore. It didn't matter how much weight was in the pack. I wouldn't recommend these bags.

plastic book bags shouldn't be made for kids unless you can find a way for the kids NOT to tear them upI've bought about 6 of these over the last 3 years. I have had this bag for about 2 weeks and I am not satisfied because the material is very cheap and it is already tearing.
Overall I'm very happy with these, they are really compact, about the size on an egg, so I always have one with me, even in my tiny wallet-purse. They aren't full size shopping bags but big enough for that 2-3 item grocery stop, a few library books, or a couple of segmented takeout boxes. Also the fabric is a bit stretchy.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Good looking and sturdily constructed. Will hold a laptop and plenty of peripherals. And it doesn't look like every other backpack out there.
If you look up the product description on madpax.com, it explicitly says that this backpack as a "bonus feature" holds an iPad. From that I assumed there was a compartment to keep my expensive piece of technology safe, but that's not the case. The inside of this bag is a void with one small zipper compartment just big enoug to hold a wallet and a phone at the same time. Aside from this misnomer, the bag is very cute, just big enough to hold one standard sized text book, an iPad, and a mamilla folder all at once, and very stylish. Overall, I like it. I just wish I'd known the drawbacks before spending over $50 on it.

Very good quality. The straps are nicely padded and the texture of the dinosaur "skin" is very life like. Only a small zip pocket is inside but I have make-up bags that I keep all my small belongings in so I don't really need pockets. My nephews (3, 4 & 5 years old) all loved it and wanted one but I bought this for myself :) Great for anyone who is either a kid at heart or an actual child. I expect this bag to last a very very long time because it is very nicely made.
I was hesitant to buy this because of the mixed reviews, but I am happy with it overall. I wanted a laptop backpack that fit only a few select things that I need everyday. I tend to fill my bag up with misc things and it gets heavier and heavier. Then when I clean it out I wonder why I've been carrying all this junk around. I am 5'6" with a small frame and it fits me comfortably (it's a medium). At first I felt like the straps sat too far apart on my shoulders, but the sternum strap solved that problem it's very comfortable to wear and walk long distances with. I have a 17" MacBookPro which JUST fits if the bag wasn't stretchy it wouldn't zip. It's easy to zip now that it's broken in, but at first it was a little difficult. I can also fit a few folders and paper in with the laptop. I can fit the battery and power cord in the additional pocket with room to spare. The small pocket on the strap is too small to fit my phone or wallet so I've found that to be kind of useless. An iPod Nano would probably fit.

I spent a good deal of time looking for a bag for my Macbook Air 11 inch. This bag is extremely well made and offers a lifetime warranty. The organization is outstanding and definitely beats my larger Tumi bag. The shoulder strap is made of a flexible neoprene material and allows for some flex, but grips very well.

I really like it and it really can fit a lot of stuff in it but there is just a really really bad odor that I can't get rid of! It's not a pleasant smell and I've tried Lysol and Febreze and airing it out but nothing seems to work. I just don't want to go to school with this smell following me and for others to suffer the scent. I recently purchased the 5.11 RUSH 12 and I am very pleased. I use it as a general purpose/GHB. Let me just comment on how much this thing can hold; I just returned from a 3 day beach trip, and I took all my clothes and utilities in the RUSH 12. Sure, it was a bit bloated, but it held up fine. I took walks around town and on the beach and the yoke system made me very happy. If you pack 10 pounds in this thing, you won't even notice its on your shoulders.
