At first, this thick neoprene sleeve would not fit my new Toshiba Satellite P205-S6337 17 inch laptop. After working with it, and stretching it for almost thirty minutes, I was able to get it in and zip it. The next day it was easy to remove the sleeve and MUCH easier to reinsert the laptop the second time around. I have not noticed any stitch breakage yet-and would recommend this item if you want a really snug fitting sleeve that won't allow any movement of the laptop inside.

I recommend this product if you need some protection to you laptop. It is strong and has a sleek design. However, I wonder if the 15" version would fit better my macbook pro 15.4" without leaving an empty space at the top. The width is perfect, though.

Bought this for use during travel with our infant. The bag looks totally different than what in the picture. The bag is too big, really really uncomfortable to carry because of only one back strap. Not a well designed backpack. My wife's and my back and shoulders hurt if we carry this bag for more than 10 minutes. This is really not a diaper bag. It's a ten dollar backpack...it's not going to survive if it's being used by a careless kid who doesn't use it properly like rolling it through the dirt or loose gravel, yanking the zipper open or shoving books in it. I've had mine for three months, and it is still in good shape. However, it does not stay upright unless positioned against a chair or desk leg. It depends on whether this is a feature willing to be sacrificed for the price. Bought this backpack for my 8 year old. On a competing bag website it was advertised as the "Best of the best". I purchased it at Amazon b/c it was a few bucks cheaper-$59.99. The backpack looked great. It had several pockets for all sorts of things. Everything was fine up until after 5 days of use and the main compartment's zipper's stitching started to come off....Although Everest warranty states that they can repair or replace the backpack, they want $14.50 to ship the bag back to them--which is ridiculous. I will not buy an Everest bag again.

This is probably the best tote I've ever had. I'm using it as my purse and extra bag (cause there's always an extra bag for books, tarot cards, lunches, etc.). It rolls so smoothly and I don't have weight pulling down my shoulders anymore. In addition, this baby rolls easily down airplane aisles. Love, love, love it.
Straps are lightly padded. Back is padded well. It contains an inner slot for storing laptops. Zippers are fairly sturdy. Can keep a bit of rain out. Still going strong after 3 months of use, mainly for notebooks/binders
Just FYI, the baja blue is not blue. We ordered this for our son for school. It is definitely lavender. We liked the pack and the size is good for our kindergartener but we are now saving the baja blue for our daughter for when she goes to school and we're going to probably re-order the other blue. It should say lavender, so the customer isn't misled.

I bought this backpack to use with the crumpler insert as a camera back and it's wonderful. It's smaller size is perfect and the back and straps are padded. The mesh pockets are great for a bottle of water and the front pocket allows me to stash stuff quickly such as my phone and keys. I also love that even though it's a smaller "child's size" backpack it's a nice blue color without all the normal kids things like princesses, cars, cute animals, and that kind of stuff of on. I'm 5'2" and it works perfectly for me. I like that it has a loop on top too to grab when I'm standing in line and it's reflective tape is great when I'm out at night.
It arrived very fast and my 13'3 toshiba laptop just fits perfectly!! recommend it to young girls/college girls who would like some design.:)

I love my new backpack, it's made from a great material, the zipper works just fine, the straps are a bit short, yet it just makes it more comfortable.
The way it's advertised as the Bathroom Sink misleads you to believe that it is very largs.... it is not. The side entry for the laptop is not so easy to get the computer in and out of. I will use for travel and expect it to last a long time, however I am sure I would not buy another like it as it is over priced for what you are getting.

I was looking at the Kitchen Sink in Ohare the last time i travelled through. I am really glad that i ordered the bathroom sink. It is already bigger than i need. My Dell XPS 1330 fits right in and is held snug. If i had the larger backpack, i think it would have sloshed around in there due to the larger size. This way it is held snug. There is plenty of room for cords, charges, pens, etc. I am a conservative packer, so i don't carry everything that i own, only what i need. This pack holds it all and then some. I have received nothing but compliments on the looks of the bag. I tell people it is a parachute they get kind of nervous, but it is fun to get some people riled up. Great bag. This bag lasted four months before the stitches started coming out. Oakley is calling it wear and tear and will not warranty their cheap bag. I took it to a seamstress whom had no dog in this fight and she told me it was due to improper sewing of the seams. By the way, I have Walmart 20 dollar bags that have made it longer, so I contend that Oakley knows that this is trash and therefore will not warranty the item.
My 2 year old daughter loves this bag since its perfect for her to carry around. The only thing I had to fix was the strings. They have plastic snaps that kept coming apart when either she or I tried putting the bag on our shoulders. Superglue was the quick fix since I really have no reason to ever take the strings off of this bag. I just glued the plastic snaps together so I don't have to repeatedly snap them together.

This is a great little bag, very well made. It's neat looking and sturdy but it has a couple of drawbacks. One is the cross body strap. Elsewhere I had seen one review that said the strap was too short to wear across the body but it was only one review among many and I gave it a shot. I am long waisted and over 5' 7" and the bag with the strap extended at its fullest made it awkward getting into the bag while still over the shoulder. It was doable, but awkward. Strap extends to 42.9 inches. The one picture I had seen of it worn that way must have used a model that was about 5' 2". The second issue is the almost worthless side pockets. They are rather narrow and won't fit my phone or my new iPod. Maybe good for a few pencils. There are two zippered pockets inside and a velcroed place for phone or music player but it's not too convenient for easy access if you're not worried about getting robbed.

I brought this purse to me for 3 weeks in Germany and while I know a lot of the other reviews were to South American, etc., I was in some very "touristy" and crowded areas and this purse helped me travel with confidence. There is a black clasp located at the base of one side of the strap that clips to the main zipper to keep it closed which I LOVED. It's also pretty inconspicuous which was nice. The purse doesn't look unusual but the slash-proofing at the bottom can be felt when you press hard (which I only did to see how it was built) and seen in parts from the inside. I was very happy with the outward appearance. There are a number of card slots built into the inner wall of the purse which I chose to use in place of a wallet so that I only had to take out the card(s) that I needed and not an entire wallet. There is a pouch inside that is the prefect size for a point and shoot camera. It is slightly padded and has a strap with velcro to keep the camera/phone in place. There is also a zip side pocket inside the main pocket where I kept mine and my sister's passports and other important documents when we were relocating. The shoulder strap feels sturdy without being overly stiff or unattractive. Really I was looking for a purse that would give me some peace of mind taking a minor around Europe and this did just that. I bought this bag in April of 2008 for a trip to Rome and liked it so much I kept using it daily after that. I am 5`8 and slender and had no problems with the length of the strap. Unfortunately now, ten months later, a connection point on the strap suddenly broke. At the clip end of the strap that you can use to secure the bag around a chair leg etc the metal piece that anchors that end to the bag has come out of its metal fitting and there is no way to put the two pieces back together. Also while wearing the bag the strap would occasionally become twisted so a minor nuisance but a nuisance none the less. This is well made and fits the description but is really too small to be useful on a trip. I ordered this size because I didn't want to carrying a lot of weight. Because the sides are so rigid, the inside of the purse is too cramped. Can't fit as much as you can in a regular purse with these outside dimensions.
I like the case, the design and fabric are nice. However, about a week after I got it one of the clips to the strap broke. I managed to fix it but I'm not thrilled that I had to.
This was a gift for my college age son, which he chose himself. He seems to be quite pleased with it. He uses it every day, and has stated it is well-made, comfortable and functional.
Since my son is only 8, I can't expect to much from this backpack, yet still were were plased with it.
This backpack is great! I got a lot of compliments when I first started wearing it, plus the laptop sleeve and the little pocket in front are infinitely useful. Recommended.
