This backpack would be good for pre-school use. Not intended for school books. The arm straps ripped first day of use. This back pack is good for a change of clothes and naptime blanket. Roomy enough for books/folders but the construction will not hold up. Daughter was very disappointed.
Just what I wanted. A small backpack to free up my hands. The material is very soft and pretty. Pockets are great, two on outside are very helpful, other two on outside are too small and not snug. I would also have liked more substantial shoulder straps, but I do recommend this packpack.

My daughter is obsessed with backpack, but when she received this for her birthday and opened it she was sorely disappointed. There aren't that many pieces to play with(not to mention boots was damaged because he was not protected by anything) the backpack has a pretty big piece of cardboard in the bottom so it looks fuller than it actually is. That would have been fine if backpack was actually a backpack. There are no straps in her back and she is tied down with those plastic ties to the cardboard through her plastic! Backpack is not durable at all after seeing there were 2 holes on each side I knew that she would be ripped in no time and i was right. After putting things in her a few times the holes in the sides got bigger and bigger. My daughter kept asking me to help her wear backpack like Dora does and I had to keep telling her no that you can't do that with this one and she was really upset. I got this because I hate bulky bags. This has room for my laptop and a few folders of papers as well. It has a nice zipper pouch for the charger and whatever else you want to put in there. The inside of the red/grey bag is a light blue. The velcro is very strong and the handle on top of the bag is also sturdy. My only complaint is that the strap is not padded and on certain jackets sometimes wants to slide off my shoulder. I use the bag to commute by bicycle and it works great for that. The back is lightly padded but not the bottom, but it has been sufficient about protecting my laptop. The construction is very solid. The seams have held up well to months of use. Because I really like the Skivvy Small, that I bough a year and a half ago for my sub-notebook, I decided to purchase the Medium now. Well, it looks like they're not as well made today: the trim is not as nice as on the old one no piping, and the padding feels thinner. So I'm not sure, if it provides adequate protection for my laptop. I ordered this for my son who was starting kindergarten. I was a little bit worried that it might be too small for carrying what he needed for school but it's worked great. It's a great size for him not huge on his back not too small either. And it fits a standard size school folder just fine. {He has not needed to carry anything bigger for school. It might not fit a 3 ring binder I haven't tried.} He also has room for extras like his sweatshirt or his show & tell item. He takes a Skip Hop Zoo Insulated Lunch Bag to school and it fits just fine in the insulated cooler part. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this bag for my son who just started K. The size is perfect as it can fit a regular folder and a few books. I use the front cooler for storing snacks. The only complain I have is the side pocket that's supposed to hold a water bottle is too small. You can only fit one of those poland spring 6oz pre-bottled water and it's still very hard to get it in and out. The re-usable bottle I bought does not fit at all. The pack is very comfortable, it hugs your shoulder and stay put with the clip-on whistle straps across the chest(Genius for SOS). The pack also has a stylish feature that looks great in any place. I use it day to day for work and store my laptop with plety of space for food and water. The quality of fabric and stitching is very excellent, a product not made it china. I also use it for fishing, hiking, bikingand it has enough space to hold food water and my Arc Teryx water proof jacket and pants and that is plenty of room in my book. This pack has nice feature such as the strap chamber sleeve to hide the bladder hose out of sight with zipper openings.
Smaller bag for essentials. Rip stop nylon (Grid pattern) typical for this kind of bag, Has like a micro fabric bottom to take the brunt of setting down. VERY, VERY lightwieght bag. Zipper pocket in front does not go pass the plastic feature. Big enough to only hold keys etc. Not for a phone. Back zipper opening goes all the way down on both sides but there is a gusset about halfway down so your stuff wont fall out.That is a nice touch. Open pocket for ipod or phone at top of inside wall for headphone hole. Lightly padded back and a seatbelt style strap that is plenty strong. Front zippered section has a small zippered pocket on inside wall about 3 inches deep that can fit glasses horizontally or a phone or I can fit my BG meter and insulinpens. Both big sections go down to the bottom of bag. Solid zippers but sometimes the gussets get in the way.Overall good design but seems overpriced at 60ish dollars. The size is what I like most about this bag. Forces me to carry only essentials (datebook. meds, meters, sunglasses, iphone, keys, wallet, basball cap, cliff bars, kindle, maybe room for more)
While the pockets seem a bit tight, there is enough room to store stylus, and ear phones. Just put them in before you zip it up.

At first I was afraid to buy this backpack, because there weren't any reviews, but I did anyway and my son is glad! This is a very nice backpack with a great holograph pirate on it! It came with a small sword and eyepatch and seems to be made pretty well. Haven't put it to the test with school yet, but it sure looks cool!
This diaper bag is great! The outside is like a fashion purse but the inside is a completely functional diaper bag with lots of extras. As in some of the other reviews the color is dark, which I like, than pictured. The brass accents are nice, not to bright as some of the other reviews said. Super cute and functional! Oh and it isn't as big as I was expecting which is a good thing good size but not overwhelming. Definitely recommend.

I found this bag to be made of very poor quality. I purchased the black one and the hardware is painted bright yellow, and not gold and I can only imagine chipping to occur next. The faux leather material is awful, and looks cheap in person. The handles look very cheap also, with poor stitching. Overall I would not recomend this product.
