Timbuk2 Lightbrite Swig Backpack (OS)
I ride my bike to work most days and my old backpack just didn't have the capacity to hold my laptop and cables, a change of clothes, some bike tools, and a book or two. This backpack does have room for all that. I've even brought cleats when I have an ultimate game later. I really like the material it's made out of. It is highly waterproof and so I don't worry about carrying my company laptop even in the rain. Sometimes when closing the main flap, the corners will stick out and could let water in. I take care to tuck in the corners and haven't had a problem. I really like the reflective stripe when I'm riding at dusk cause I know the cars can see me. I don't know why the stripe is on the right side though since i mostly ride on the right side of the road, the stripe is on the curb side. I think it should be on the left closer to the traffic but again, I haven't had any problems. My only other complaint is that the straps are really long and if you tighten them so the pack is high on your back, the ends flap around like streamers behind you. I may shorten them one of these days. The side zippers are cool. I rarely use them though. I didn't realize there were two of them until I received the pack. There's one for the laptop compartment and one for the front pouch. The front one is a little difficult to reach into especially if the pack is full. Also the bag will easily carry a 17" laptop, you just won't be able to get it out of the side zipper pocket. But there is plenty of space for it in the pack's laptop compartment.

I love the side entry pocket to be able to get things from either the front pocket or my laptop. My only complaint is that it is a bit small. Wish it could hold more. Commuting back and forth to school on the train this weatherproof backback is the bomb but I often find myself with a book or two that just won't fit. Timbuk2 Copilot Roller Bag
I'm pretty serious about my bags since I travel quite a bit. Once again in search for the 'perfect' suitcase, I stumbled upon the Co-Pilot suitcase. In my quest, I bought the 20 inch Co-Pilot, the 22 inch Co-Pilot, and even the 22 inch Checkpoint. I read the reviews, watched just about every video out there, but I needed to hold one in my hand and do a dry run of how I would normally pack into my suitcases.I used to own a Delsey 20 inch carry-on and sling my Timbuk2 Commuter onto it when I'm on the go, but I was also looking for something to consolidate the suitcase and messenger into one when necessary. A friend has an Antler (UK brand) carry-on suitcase that I loved because it has a compartment that holds your laptop, yet it was a vertical pull case and not the horizontal ones that you often see business people with at airports. I don't like the horizontal ones because they tend to be short and fat and really don't hold a whole lot when you need it for trips that are more than overnighters. So, my requirements were a vertical pull carry-on that can hold clothes, laptop (and other electronics), and easily accessible when needed.
First that arrived was the 22 inch Co-Pilot. I pitted it against my tried and true Delsey, which has solid and rigid sides, a good thing; the Co Pilot doesn't and I knew that going in. But, with a basic blanket test to see the volume, the Co Pilot trumped the Delsey without even showing any bulge. I could barely zip up the Delsey. It fit my Thinkpad T410s (14in wide) in the front zipper and it fit perfect (thought I'd probably still put it in a sleeve just in case). Overall, I thought it was nice, but I felt it looked a bit large. So...
I ordered the 20 inch Co-Pilot and the 22 inch Checkpoint.
In short, the 20in Checkpoint had a manufacturing defect in the neoprene zipper I noticed when I was doing the blanket test. The mesh ripped, which leads me to believe that I may have to be careful in the future. But, with Timbuk2's excellent warranty, I wasn't too concerned. The 22in Checkpoint, I felt was a little bit too flippy floppy for my tastes and won't be able to handle any sort of airport-luggage-handler-crush-tests. So, the 22in Co-Pilot wins.
Now, the real life test.
We took this for a weekend trip and were able to fit mine and my wife's clothes (summer Seattle weather) and my 18mo old's stuff all inside without any bulge. I was amazed. We usually would have to carry two bags. On the plane (Alaska Air and UA on the return), it was a perfect fit into the overhead compartment. I was pleased with the results. The rollerskate wheels were quick and quiet around the airport and the compartmentalized sides are great for quick access instead of rummaging through a bunch of clothes. For even better packing, use packing cubes! We used the shoe pocket for our flip flops, but you can use it for your toiletries as well for those times you need to deal with the TSA.
Next major run, two weeks in Asia. I'm ready.

Yes, I went on a 12 day business trip to Asia. I packed 7 days worth of work and casual clothes in there and came back with a ton more stuff. I ended up using a backpack in combo with the Co-Pilot, but I think I came back with double the amount that I left with. Everything fit just fine and I was even able to stash it in as a carry-on in United Airlines 737. Be careful of some of the 737's since the side compartments tend to be smaller than the middle ones. Otherwise, all's well and I'm still lovin' the Co-Pilot 22!

Since getting the bag, I've been traveling with the Co-Pilot 22in for almost 20 trips (domestic and international) and couldn't love the bag more! It's been through rain, snow, and dirty streets in China and the bag still looks brand new. I get lots of looks and I love how I can spot it easily coming down the conveyor belt.
Skateboard wheels--I'm mixed about them. They work awesome on smooth tile and road terrain, but being that most airports are carpeted, they create a lot of friction and can get tiring real quick. They look nice and are whisper quiet, though!
If I could, I'd like to make a suggestion to Timbuk2 to their suitcases. I've had and still use two Timbuk2 messenger bags (one now a camera bag and the other, my work bag) and they both have reflector tabs on them. Because I know I'll always at some point walk in the dark, I'd like to prevent getting hit as much as I can. So, I stuck on a couple 3M reflector strips on the front and the back of Co-Pilot. This also greatly helps visibility when I'm waiting for my ride--I just turn my bag towards incoming cars and they can spot me quickly. It doesn't have to be huge, but just accent enough to be spottable.

It's been about a year and about 60K miles with this suitcase throughout the US, Canada, and Asia. I'm bummed. A couple of seams are coming apart from the side of the bag. While I, and you I'm sure, occasionally "pack it in", this should not happen this easily and this early in the game. The seams haven't popped open to where the innards are exposed, but I fear the inevitable. :(
The bag, as noted by other reviewers, is a tad larger than the stated dimensions. The height of the 20" (small) Copilot is 20" from the wheel axle to the top of the bag so even though the bag is 20" the wheels and stand support extend about 1.1" beyond 20". If the bag is overstuffed it will also easily exceed its depth dimension of 9". This means that even the smallest Copilot at 20" is still a larger carry-on bag and may not meet international carry-on standards even though it is less than 45" in all dimensions. (Also, it is likely that the actual height for all the Copilots is 1.1" more than listed.)
The bag is a clamshell design with zippered mesh webbing over each half on the inside so that when opened everything stays in place. The front half of the bag is soft and the back half is rigid. What might not be seen in the photo's is that it has handles on both sides as well as the top and under the top handle in a tiny zippered compartment is a piggyback strap. This bag is light for its size which is ideal for a carry-on bag but I have my doubts as to the survivability of the copilot as checked baggage.
My bag was made in China (Timbuk2 also has factories in the Philippines for non-custom production). Unlike other Timbuk2 bags, this one needed a few days to off-gas.
I decided to purchase the Timbuk2 model as a smaller carry-on bag (although the 20" is larger than I anticipated) and also, in case I do check it, to make it easier to visually recognize my bag on the belt. My old 22" black Samsonite is remarkably indistinguishable from all the other square black pieces of luggage when circling on the conveyor.

I have always had brand loyalty for Timbuk2 products ever since purchasing my first messenger bag, so I was extremely excited to see them come up with a suitcase.I bought the smallest one because I thought the TSA maximum carry on size was 45 linear inches, and the medium one's dimensions are just over that. The medium one is actually abount an inch too big although timbuk2 says it's acceptable. I got the smallest size so there will be no dispute about it, in case they start becoming more strict about carry on sizes.
First the positive:
The quality of the material, like most timbuk2 products, is among the highest I've ever seen for suitcases. Strong and light at the same time.
I travel frequently as a poker player, so I was looking for a carry on that won't rip after a few trips. I used to go through one every few months. So far, I've used this 5 times and it's still in "like new" condition. So if quality of material is your primary concern, this is an excellent buy.
Now the negatives:
The suitcase is actually a bit bulkier than the dimensions say. If you use the front pocket for something such as a laptop or a large book, then it will be slightly too fat to fit in the overhead bins in some planes. This makes the front pocket pretty much useless if you're planning to use this suitcase as a carry-on, so you're pretty much stuck with the two clamshell compartments to put all your stuff.
Even with the added bulk, I found that I couldn't fit that much stuff in mine. The problem with the design is that it's harder to use all the space in the corners. There's a zipper web cover for each side of the clamshell but the lining of it extends over the edge which is slightly annoying. Also, the bottom is not flat which also makes it harder to pack at full capacity.

Bought the 22" (medium) Copilot, then agonized over whether I should have bought the 20" version instead. Have used this bag for both air travel and car travel now, and like it very much.Like: Much lighter than my previous (very old) carry on. Grab handles on every side make overhead stowing and retrieval a breeze (I'm a wuss and had no trouble holding the packed bag over my head). Wheels are quiet and wide enough it doesn't tip much. TONS of room inside (even packed my pillow in there, along with everything else for a long weekend). Weird neoprene zippers ROCK, I was not sure what to expect but they are stretchy and practical and go easily around anything.
Dislike: Yes it is 22 x 14 x 9 but each of those dimensions is a good half to three-quarters of an inch bigger than stated. Fit easily into Southwest overheads but they state 24 x 16 x 10 is acceptable. Have not tried on another airline yet. Front zipper pocket is just a smidge too small for my 14.1" laptop.
Overall: Based on my experience with this bag, I'd cheerfully take the 20" (small) Copilot instead and know it has plenty of room, as well as being more likely to fit in overhead bins. I don't fly as often as we drive, but it definitely stresses me out to know I may have to check this bag because it's an inch too big. Potential size issues aside, I absolutely love it!

Timbuk2 20-Inch Co Pilot Footlocker I bought this case so I didn't have to check my luggage in at the airport. I am irked by having to pay for checking in a bag and I'm mistrustful that it, and I, will arrive simultaneously at any given destination. That being said, I've used this bag twice and not carried it on either time.I'm not worried about it working as a carry on. It's just that my last two trips have involved driving and then a boss who paid my check in costs. I took a chance on the arrival thing. The bag is perfect for carry-on. With handles on all four sides and its compact build, this suitcase will fit into the overhead bin better than I fit into the little tiny seats they give us now.
With regard to check in, it was the first time I've been able to find my luggage on the carousel without having to grab at and peer at every black bag of a certain size. The violet stripe and handle bar and tannish (potrero?) color makes it easy to spot. The bag rolls quietly and is very stable. I had a brief bag and c-pap machine loaded on it and it balanced nicely. The only thing that would make the wheels better is if they were spinners. Notwithstanding that, the bag is easy to maneuver and follows along like a well trained puppy.
Packing the Co-Pilot is also a treat. There are two compartments, the two halves of the suitcase, each covered with a mesh screen. When you close or open the case, everything stays where it should, something that has never happened for me with the ties that most cases use. I fit professional and casual clothes for 4 days, my shower bag, a pair of nice shoes and my Birkenstock clogs into this suit case and didn't have a problem closing it.
I am very happy with my new suitcase. I've used Timbuk2 briefcases and bags for some time and I'm quite pleased that I tried their carry-on suitcase. I highly recommend it.
Ensign Peak Dual Pocket Drawstring Backpack
This is a simple bag that does the job.It is not a full out gym bag, but you can get shoes and a change of clothes in there. I like that it is breathable so if something is damp I do not need to get worried if I do not empty it right away.
The main draw back is that the water bottle pocket does not accommodate anything bigger than a standard 20 oz. bottle. My Sigg bottle and insulated bottle for my bike don't fit and it would be nice if the other outside pocket had a closure of some sort but it is still a great bag for stowing things on the quick.

This bag is of good quality and well designed.Ordered this and did day hike 3 times with it now, carrying stove, mountain house, layers, water bottle, bladder, camera, etcI carried my 40D+17-40mm 4.0 lens using Case Logic DSLR Camera Holster TBC-406 hanged to the shoulder strap on my chest with 2 Carabiners and a piece of paracord, good solution, easy access and storage.
Carried 20+ pounds very comfortably through the hikes like upper Yosemite fall trail, 7 miles up/down slopes.
My complain:
I used Platypus Big ZipTM SL 3.0L water bladder, it fits in the pouch, but tightly, so I can only get ~2.2L of water, and had to put in bladder empty before filling. (This has nothing to do with the product though, might help you if you are using the same bladder)

I am writing this review after purchasing this bag, inspecting it, and the deciding to return it, unused. I cannot attest to actual, tested durability or use. That said, here are my thoughts:What I like:
This is definitely a bomber bag. The materials and stitching are top-notch, and I have no doubt that it is very weather and wear resistant. It is certainly large, and would be a great bag for ski gear because of the extra beefy floor and boxy construction. I like how the top opens wide for easy access. The lighter colored interior makes it easier to find items than bags with a black interior.
I like the the small exterior pockets.
Why I sent it back:
It seems too heavy. Definitely burly, but I feel like it's probably overbuilt. Due to the bulky material, it will not compress well for use as a carry on if desired.
The handles on the ends have aluminum tubing over the webbing. I have no idea why they did this. Probably to help grip the webbing without it digging into hands when the bag is loaded to the gills. Unfortunately, it makes it difficult to clip a carabiner to the handle. Also, it will likely scratch paint on cars, rattle against windows, and I honestly cannot find a practical reason for this feature.
The cord used for zipper pulls also have aluminum tubing over them. The tubing is almost the diameter of the knot, which I think will make the pull hard to grip unless completely dry. I also think it looks cheesy and I don't like the way it feels eitherI do not like the tubing! Additionally, by using only cord for the zipper pulls, it prevents you from putting a lock on the zipper. I know that a zipper pull lock is still not very secure, but I believe it is better than nothing, and definitely better than cord. I much prefer cord in addition to a tab on the pulls.
The daisy chains are not as useful as those on competitors' bags. They lie very flat, and placed only near the ends, not continuously along he sides like I prefer.
The handles seem pretty good, but the padding seems inadequate to use the bag backpack style. The handle adjustment tabs seem clunky too.
All in all, it is probably a great bag for the back of a truck, or short ski vacations where you won't be lugging bags very farlike from baggage claim to a car, to a hotel. I typically carry my bags a lotand stack and strap and squish and throw them tooand I feel like there are better choices for my style of travel. Your mileage may vary.

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. Very pretty and unique. She loved it! It is kid friendly with round plastic knobs on the end of the spokes. Easy to operate up and down. I did have to return the first one I got as it was defective with a bent up rod, but I received a new one very quickly that was perfect.
This one was for the girly girl and she loves to prance while holding it. It's perfectly sized for a child and easy for her to hold. Opens and closes like a dream.

The fact that I bought this in December and it is now almost June and it is still working is a plus.Most of the children umbrellas that we have purchased have been of poor quality. This one has been great. My 5 year old loves it and she even plays around with it and it still works.

as i've become spoiled with amazons rapid delivery,i was surprised when this took 12 days to receive.although it did come within delivery range estimated.had the bag for about a month.very comfortable with padded back support and straps.have used rain hood and is a nice feature.i use the side mesh to hold 18 oz.thermos and a travel mug in opposite one. the side straps can also be tightened over thermos to make even more secure.the "grid-it" organizer that's included comes in handy.so far impressed with quality and roominess.UPDATE:1.5 years and holding up good.some seam stretching but not critical yet.failed to mention before but it has a center strap that connects across the chest,that nicely distributes weight away from shoulders.
It's kind of small, so don't expect to cram a ton of stuff in the main compartment. I kind of like this though since I tend to overload my bags, making my back strain pretty hard when bicycle riding or walking through terminals trying to catch a flight. Fits my MacBook Pro nicely, with enough room for my KindleDX, some books, and water bottles.
I really like the included Grid-It organizer in the smaller pocket, as this makes wrangling USB sticks, cables, etc much easier.
Seems like the construction is pretty tough so far. Most of the zippers have a strips of water resistant tape over them, which is a nice, especially when coupled with the built in rain hood. I wouldn't say that this is waterproof by any means, but its decent enough to ride for a while in the rain and not worry about sensitive electronics getting damaged.
Overall, I like the look, build, and function this backpack provides, just wish that they would make a bigger model for longer trips.

When I decided to purchase a 17 inch laptop, I put zero consideration into how I would haul it around. A messenger bag style case was not comfortable, and couldn't accommodate all the other junk I need to carry on a daily basis. I will say that if I don't have my other items packed just so, it is a tad tight to zip the bag around the laptop. That could just be because I carry too much stuff, but I think the bag could stand to be just a smidge taller. There is an inset on the bag which is a weird material that I don't love, but is certainly not a deal breaker. Overall, comfortable to carry, roomy and well made. Would purchase again. I am interested to see how it holds up to my daily use.So I bought this backpack back at the end of August for school use. I have 8 days of school left and the backpack has held up decently. Now the first problem that I immediately encountered with this pack is that the main pocket was rather small and couldn't fit all my books easily, although, through a combination of stretching the fabric and better space management it isn't too bad. I can comfortably carry all my notebooks, folders and my math book. The front compartment is pretty great though, it carries my school ID, pencils, calculator and some other things very well. The pocket on the vinyl patch on the front is ok for a book or something like that, but that's all I've ever bothered to use it for. The media pocket on the top is a bit of a hassle to put up with when something's in it because it is housed on the inside of the main pocket, so when my phone is in it and I'm trying to put my math book away it can be a problem. I usually keep my math book in the laptop compartment because it seems to have some extra room, but I have housed my laptop in it and it was just fine. My final complaint is that the mesh bottle holders have weakened over the months of me putting bottles in them everyday. I occasionally have one fall out on me when I'm picking up my bag. Despite all the ragging I've done on this bag, it has served me well, only showing some minor rips and tears here and there and some cuts on the vinyl.To be honest this is a good backpack for just your laptop, I just carried my laptop in it before and it worked very well. I just feel like there are better options for school. Also, the included cocoon grid-it is pretty useful.

I bought this backpack on sale at the manufacturer's website for 50% discount. Since it has a one-year warranty, I accepted that I would use this to failure while looking for another backpack for my needs. That was about a year ago, and after using this backpack extensively for hauling officework, my 15.4" laptop, lunch, and groceries on the way home all by walking over three miles a day, it has yet to fail, which is why I'm mildly amazed.
I'm not fond of the front panel or the bottom panel of the backpack. The manufacturer's, Amazon.com's, and SmartOne's websites don't indicate the material of the pack. It appears to be nylon material for most of the backpack and possibly TPU on the front and bottom panels.
TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane hybrid material of hard plastic and soft silicone. This material has lasted through all four seasons without cracking or weathering, but has not yet seen the extreme arctic temperatures in the next few weeks where it is headed.
Every inch of the cavernous compartments are filled to capacity by using packing cubes and rolling clothing and socks to fill any empty spaces. Even the top compartment dedicated for media storage (i.e., iPod Touch with an exit port for the headphones) is stuffed with small, hard-cased items. I have yet to fly out but still the overfilled backpack has not failed.
I'm thinking of taking this backpack on travel excursions more often for business in the future until it finally does fail from the hard use and abuse I give it.
I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a spacious daypack fast and doesn't mind window shopping for a better quality backpack at the same time to replace it. If you use a daypack alot, especially walking daily with it to work and anywhere else, including abuse (I haven't packed it with wrapped bricks yet for the GoRuck Challenge), the Cocoon Central Park Sport will last you at least a year.

The orange may be helpful, but it doesn't look that good.
Overall, it is a very nice backpack. It may not have the greatest looks, but it works very well for school.

However, "Protective padded sleeve holds laptop up to 15.4" is not tall enough for my 15.4" Dell Insp laptop.It is wide enough to hold it and the zipper can't be close with the laptop inside. I would recommend this backpack to any male college student.I fit my laptop (Gateway T-1616) with the power cord, 7 College books (Psychology: Core concepts, Fundamentals of Pre-calculus, The Short Prose Reader, College Writing Skills, A Writer's Reference, Dos Mundos Workbook and textbook), a five star trapper-keeper, and a 500 gig HDD inside this backpack and still had room for more.
The laptop compartment is separately located in the middle of the backpack and is padded enough to prevent damage to a laptop if the backpack is dropped or knocked over.
The shoulder straps are comfortable and are constructed to evenly distribute the weight of the backpack across a person's back.
The bottom of the backpack is padded, but provides adequate stability, allowing the backpack to stand upright on its own.
Fully packed with all my books and my laptop, my backpack weighs about 10 pounds.

This is an absolutely AMAZING product. I bought because I love ducks, and I thought it would be great for travel. It is definetly worth it, but the only concern I had was that it is a bit smaller than I expected. Its about 10 inches by 7 inches, but it is quite roomy so everything fits. Bought this backpack as a overnight bag for business trips. I found I needed a change of clothes and my laptop and business gear and this bag fits the bill nicely. As will most Ogio bags, there are plenty of pockets and compartments for gear. The plastic bottom and wheels are smooth rolling and can take the bumps and bangs. The handle extends easily and is comfortable. I must admit, I don't wear it on my shoulders much but the straps hide away when you don't need them. I have had the backpack for about 4 weeks. It is roomy enough for all my business stuff and clothing for a overnite stay. The only draw back is that I found it barely fits in overhead compartments of small aircraft.

Pacsafe Luggage Venture Safe 300 GII
This is a nice bag, but I am not as pleased with it as I was with the first generation model I first had. A zipper pull got accidentally shattered, so I did a warranty return. The old style proved hard to find, so I decided to try the newer version. I carried the Pacsafe Venture Safe 300 1st generation daily for just over a year, including a week in Europe. That bag and a small backpack were all I needed. All of the safety features I feel are competent and definitely gave me peace of mind. Pretty much all of those features are present in the GII as well.The materials of the GII all feel a little nicer and softer to the touch. I also like the new buckle better as it keeps the shoulder strap from constantly twisting. But there are a few features and details that don't quite add up.
Compared to the old bag, the new one does not hold as much. The new one has a stiff, padded panel which does help protect contents a little better, but also causes the bag not to be able to stand up, but instead it just falls forward.
The front pocket of the old one had more organizing pockets, and a nice key leash (The new does have a key ring, so supply your own leash). But the difference in the orientation of the front pocket and its zipper are more concerning. With the old bag, the pocket opens from across the top, leaving a wide opening for easy access while anything that goes in cannot fall out. The new one unzips partially up the side, then across the top, making it very easy for items to fall out.
The orientation of that pocket on the older bag seemed like a well designed safety feature to me. In fact, it helped me feel more secure in Paris when some street "performers" were increasingly demanding for money and becoming a little unpleasant. While I was at first digging for some change, my belongings did not feel exposed. With the new bag, I'd be struggling for things not to fall out.
Finally, the old bag had a nearly hidden pocket opening at the top underneath the small carry handle, a great place for quick yet secure access to passports, boarding passed, etc.
Overall, this is a quality bag from a great company made with good materials, but the features of the new design leave me feeling a bit lacking.

I had my eye on this bag for a couple of months, just waiting for my old bag to bite the dust. I ordered within five minutes of the demise of my former daily companion.I was worried it would be huge, but it isn't. The design is truly genius. Is this a Tardis? Because it really seems bigger on the inside than the outside.
I am also very happy with the weight: much lighter than I anticipated after reading the reviews. I wouldn't want to carry it on my shoulder for long stretches, but the purpose of this bag is to roll a lot of paper and gear. For that, it really is a perfect bag.

Sanrio Mosaic Hello Kitty Messenger Bag
This year, for 3rd grade, my daughter(8 y/o) wanted a shoulder bag like the bigger kids. This bag (unlike most messenger bags) was perfect for her size. It's roomy enough inside to hold the textbooks but it's overall size is compact, so she doesn't look like she's carrying mom's bag. Only problem, so far, is that the front zipper pocket lining has come undone at the bottom seam. It's just the thin lining that covers the (thicker) outside canvas, so the pocket hasn't, technically, lost it's function. I'm sure I could buy some fabric tape and fix it up myself but, it happened within the first week of use!! This tells me that the bag is not durable and it may need more "fixes" in the near future. Someone might say that perhaps the item is not authentic Sanrio product, but in reality I've had problems like this before with Sanrio items. With something like this, you're not buying quality, you're buying a name (with a super cute character on the front).

I've had this one for two years now and it's held up great! I actually had an older 3 day pass bag and I was so impressed by their quality that I bought another one (AF changed camo again!) The "Elite" has metal bars that brace the back so it keeps its shape. The padding on the outside is very comfortable and breaths. The padded main pocket works great for carrying a laptop,the adjustable/removable pouches in the middle are handy for loose items. It has an area for pen/pencil, multitool, keys, etc storage and the small outer compartment has the MOLLE webbing. It is definitely worth getting!

I got this bag in March from the local PX so I could travel light on an upcoming trip to Europe. I was apprehensive about the idea of packing for 8 days in Spain in one backpack. Once I got to packing I started to realize how much this bag can really hold. All the pockets are easily accessible, the bag fit like a glove, especially with the waist and chest straps buckled in. Being in Barcelona, we were warned about the pickpocket issues out there and were able to thwart off any would-be robbers by threading some paracord through all the zipper loops, slapping on a cord-stop (this one in particular: Dritz(R) Double Cord Stops For 1/8 Inch Cord 2/Pkg-Black), and tying off the ends. Glad to say it worked like a charm. Since then I've taken it on several airplane and camping trips, and have very few complaints. However, if you do pack it to the brim it can be hard to fit into an overhead compartment...not impossible, just difficult. On the same note, when it's fully packed, it will extend pretty far off your back, but the side straps help you keep things sucked in if you use them. And if you're doing touristy stuff, you might want to bring a daypack with you too. This one's way to big to carry a camera and maps around. This is the best very well made backpack I've been able to find for around this price. The laptop case can hold a 6L water bladder, and there's a sealable hole through the top for bladder hose or headphones. The zippers and stitching are all very fine and made to last, not to mention the thick exterior cordura. It is very very comfortable to wear, and sucks to your back perfectly. I will confess it is a little nicer than I needed it to be, considering i got it to be a bug out bag. School backpacks like we used to wear are really good for an emergency pack, but I had a lot of trouble finding one with chest AND waist straps, and these waist straps are basically seat beat material, very strong and comfortable. All the ones around the $100 price range didn't come close to the usefulness of this one, but I think since I bought this, there has been an explosion in the variety of these kinds of packs. Maybe there's more as burly, comfortable and luxurious for less. Also it has molle on the bottom as well as the back pocket. I bought this backpack to help cut down on the number of times I needed to buy replacements for school. Out of all of the tactical bags out there, this looked the most casual of the bunch, however it still had that military look that's strange to walk around with. I made some modifications to the bag to give it a more campus-friendly feel and haven't had any issues with the bag. Compared to most school bags this can be considered an XL or XXL, but only lists as medium on military gear sites.The pockets are huge, the zippers appear durable, and overall has a quality feeling not found in typical school bags. This model includes 2 lightweight alluminum supports in the back of the main compartment to help with stability. I haven't found a use for the 3 velcro zip pounches for the velcro compartment for school use. If you're ok with sticking out a little bit because of the military feel, then this durable pack will suit you right for urban use.

I purchased this diaper bag for my daughter, after receiving it I decided to keep it myself for my own personal use. I have looked for a handbag with lots of pockets for a long time. This bag has pockets for everything, I no longer have to dig to find my keys, phone, nail clippers, wallet, etc. When I am shopping, it is large enough to put my small purchases inside. I like it so much I am planning on purchasing one in black also. I like the backpack style bag instead of a traditional purse because I now have both hands to shop. And how I love to shop! This would also make an awesome diaper bag.

1. This exterior material looks very prone to rip.
2. The lime one has dark grey interior, making it possibly hard to find things.
3. Too few interior pockets for organization. It has 2 bottle pockets and one large mesh pocket.

There is way more room than you think, it is very comfortable to wear, and having two hands free is the best part.Love it!.
