Aston Women's Backpack 809

Aston Women's Backpack 809,BlackThis backpack is nice looking and seems durable, but is really heavy. I don't remember if the product listing had the weight listed but it came as a surprise. We bought it to use when traveling so we don't look like dopey tourists when walking around with guidebooks but with a few books in it really becomes quite something to schlep. Be warned.

My 18 month old daughter loves it. It's small enough that she can put a few things in it and it doesn't get heavy and the straps are made really well so that she stays with us and it stays on her back. I never thought I'd buy a "leash" for my kid until I realized how quick my daughter is!! I love this!!!

Like other reviews, this backpack is very small but the perfect size for my petite 18 month old who weighs almost 20 lbs. I wouldn't want her to have anything bigger anyway. The pack has a clip that goes across the chest to keep little ones from taking it off. I can fit in her sippy cup, 3 pacifiers, and a couple of small snacks. The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because I wish it had a way to 'store' the leash on the outside of the pack when not using it (or maybe make it retractable?). It's inconvenient to have to detach it anytime you don't want to use the leash and let your child still carry the backpack. Other than that it suits our needs perfectly.

It is a great little backpack and harness, with an emphasis on little! It is much smaller than I thought it might be, but it is still a decent size. Not much will fit in the backpack itself, but it words great as a harness. The chest strap will detach, so that is great for when my daughter wants to use it as a backpack later on. She is small for her age, so it fits her perfectly!

There was 1 other review about the waist strap not fitting, but if you read the description, it is designed for the strap to be higher up, not around the waist, so it doesn't need to be as big as others. I personally love that it's not going to go digging into her sensitive tummy when she's trying to get away from me! It puts most of the pressure higher up so it gets better distributed with her shoulders. The front strap easily moves up and down on the backpack straps, so you can put it wherever you need to to get a good fit on your child.

Overall, seems to be a great product! My daughter keeps asking to use her ladybug! :-)

This product is great in conception, poor in functionality! My 16 month old niece fit this little backpack very well through the shoulder straps, but in no way could the waist strap snap. She is tiny, and there was no possible way to snap the waist closure. I would be safe in saying that this might fit a doll...maybe! I'm very disappointed to say the least. It is cute and would be a wonderful tool for a parent to use, but it just doesn't work!!

Alite Designs Ochiba Pack

Alite Designs Ochiba Backpack: MD; BlackI bought the medium sized black version of this pack to use for school and for outdoor activities and so far it's been awesome. I am very small (just shy of 5'2" on a good day) so many packs are way too big and bulky looking on me but this one, while still a little long for my torso, is perfect. I am in graduate school so I schlep around a ton of stuff all the time, and this pack holds an impressive amount of my junk without looking "poofy" or overstuffed at all. I can shove a 13" laptop, its charger, my phone charger, several folders of notes, a clipboard, a pen bag, a makeup bag, my graphing calculator, an umbrella, my checkbook-sized wallet, and a few granola bars or whatever I'm munching on for study fuel into this pack with ease. It handles it all in stride and is stylish to boot, with side straps to hold everything in width-wise and keep my stuff from jostling around, and a back panel that is a wonderful shade of goldenrod-yellow.

Now the gripes (and the reasons for 4 stars, instead of 5): laptop compartment could use a little more padding, no outside pockets for stowing cans of soda/water bottles, etc. and the straps--at the top near the grab handle/loop they seem to be angled in rather sharply so that much of the weight of the pack rests on the inner edges of the strap nearest your spine. Not exactly comfortable, but I suspect that this has something to do with my small size rather than the pack, which is probably designed for larger people. The stock photo on this page shows a yellow butterfly embroidered logo patch but the pack I received has a bear (see the alite designs homepage--this must be their new logo) instead. No biggie, I'm not a butterfly girly-girl anyway. Just a heads up.

Last thing...I live in Seattle and the waterproofing on this thing is amazing. Water just beads up on the fabric and can be brushed away easily once I'm inside a building. I love this thing to pieces so far and am very glad I purchased it.

ClaireChase Sorrento Laptop Messenger

Claire Chase Sorrento Computer MessengerLet me just start off by saying that this is my first time purchasing a bag, ever. I do not profess myself to have any sort of authority on messenger bags, briefcases, etc. However, that is all about the change with this bag:

I knew I had to have a bag of decent quality, as I did not care for the cheaper quality offerings from other brands, so after doing some research, I eventually came to the conclusion that the ClaireChase Sorrento Laptop bag was the one to get. Besides, I was getting it for almost 80% off, which is an additional ~30% off the eBags site. "Wow", I thought to myself, what a steal. I think Amazon only sells the "distressed brown" at this price, though.

The bag is of very, very good quality. The leather is top-notch; obviously the bag can get away with a price tag 2x-3x this much. I don't know much about ClaireChase, but I will definitely look at them again in the future.

Another reviewer was cautious about the magnetic straps. I found them to be very strong, and there is a slight groove for them to rest in to prevent slipping. You wouldn't want to stuff this bag to the limit, if for no other reason than weight, which brings me to my next point:

The shoulder strap seems a tiny bit too small in width for this bag. Maybe it is the style. It looks good, but I think I will want to invest in a shoulder pad. It does not come with one, and you will almost certainly find your shoulders getting sore within minutes.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase as I will be using it for school and coffee shops. It is a good medium-sized bag, but I take 1 star off for the shoulder strap thing.

This messenger bag was a gift for my husband. The bag is masculine, very distinguished, and holds his Macbook and other items that he takes to and from work on a regular basis. Quality item and I saved a ton of money ordering from Amazon instead of a competitor website where this bag sells for at least twice as much.

:) The bag is lovely. Hope I have it forever. It is soft, large enough and NOT Dorky! I LOVE THE GREY!

After 24 days of using the bag, the stitching and glue at the back of the bag slowly started to come apart. Less than 5 days later, the entire seam at the top of the rear side of the bag completely came apart. Stitching in other areas was also starting to show wear, and it was a matter of days before those areas gave in as well. I used it daily to carry a MacBook Air, accessories, and paperwork. I'm not sure if it was just this bag that was defected or if the overall quality of the manufacturer is bad. I really do like the bags look, comfort, and feel. I am going to give them one more shot, I will be ordering a replacement today, and hope I am not let down again. The good news is, the return process with Ebags, was extremely easy. Ebags is great !!! This is the only reason I am taking a second chance.

Baggallini Urban Backpack

Baggallini Luggage Urban Backpack, Azure, One SizeWell, maybe you are the type of person who buys a bag for every occasion and you don't need your bag to last very long, but I am not that wealthy. I wear a back pack purse everyday to work or play and I need it to last at least six months. This bag is wearing out. The fabric on the bottom corners is frayed and you can now see the white liner showing through. Also the zippers seldom stay closed at the bottom of the bag. The bottom of the zippers usually rip open on their own about an inch from the bottom. There is an inner lining that keeps things from falling out, but it is annoying. It is light weight which is great, but I am not happy that it is wearing out so quickly.

This is a great bag but before you buy make sure you understand that the interior is SMALL. It won't hold a wallet you have to empty your wallet into the spaces it provides. It will only hold flat things and maybe a small makeup case or something of that nature. Great bag for travel but not for everyday use. Unless you have nothing but flat things. :) However it has the excellently cool feature of the zippered strap it can be zippered and sling over the shoulder or unzip and be a backpack. very cool.

I purchased a Baggallini UBC227 Urban Backpack in dark olive crinkle nylon. The quality of the material and the craftmanship were excellent. The color of the bag was as pictured. Unfortunately, it was not as spacious as I'd imagined it would be, given the physical description. Length and height were just right, but depth was lacking. It was not possible for me to fit all of my daily necessities in the bag at one time. Since I only carry with me what I really need, it's important that everything I need fits.

I bought this bag to use on a five week trip to FL. I wanted a bag that looked good enough for any occasion but converted to a backpack when I was more active. This bag was great except when I warmed up and began perspiring, the dye from the zipper rubbed off on my clothing. I do like the security of the zippers and the magnetic clasp at the top. Be careful though...I laid my bag down to put on my jacket on a restaurant table where we had just ate dinner. I was very surprised when we got back to the room and I found a fork stuck to the front of my bag! The magnetic clasp is very strong!

It's perfect! Lightweight, perfect size for everyday and will be great for travel. Two zippers on the outside and lots of slots on the inside for everything you carry in your purse. Also, the straps can be adjusted to wear as a shoulder bag or a backpack to SAVE your back!

Kangatek Go Bandolier Sling

Kangatek Go Bandolier Sling,Flamiongo/Jet,one sizeI have been using a KangaTek for Geocaching for the past year and its holding up extremely well. It lives in my car taking quite a bit of heat and solar exposure waiting for me to pull over and toss it over my head. The best thing about this is that its a far more maneuverable version of a lumbar pack or waist pack. The entire thing is fairly durable with only one exception being the zipper pulls. The fabric chosen is not the sturdiest but there is a silver lining in that if one rips off its something that is easily replaced. I have a full review with photos here

Initially I loved it. It looked well constructed, fit was as expected from a bandolier (rubs the neck, bounces around a bit without an armpit strap). Then a zipper broke, then another so I made do. This item wasn't really meant for rough use really for urban cowboys. Doesn't excuse me using it as a CCW bag for hunting trips sometimes, but it shined as a doggie walking sling. Long story short the last zipper got stuck and I couldn't open it to get to my keys so I tore it apart. I guess it wasn't that well constructed after all.

Buy Kangatek Go Bandolier Sling Now

This is great for when you're rushing down the NYC subway steps to catch your train... and the boys in blue see you don't have a bag so they don't stop you for a spot check. It has ample space to store your phone (or two), medicine, and just about anything else you would normally store in your jacket pockets.

Two issues:

1. Not sure if it's waterproof will have to look it up; and

2. It can get quite lumpy when you have a few things stored in the pockets and you're on your way out.

I think this product would be better if it were tighter in the pockets so it would have a snug fit over the shoulder and the waist.

I purchased this item about late spring, since my sleeve-less jacket became too hot

for me to wear. This Bandolier Sling would be a great alternative to multi-pocket jackets...

That jacket has plenty of pockets...there are items I would not place in my pants pockets...

some items may ruin those pockets...and would not fit in shirt pockets. Well, a year has gone by

and I have worn my Bandolier Sling during the 4 seasons...Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring...back to

Summer again. I wear it over any outerwear. Since I organize which items I place in each compartment,

I always have that item at the ready...be it Cell Phone, Metro-Card (NYC) or Store Coupon Convenience

Card. I use it every single day except when I'm dressed up in a suit-n-tie. Jet Black is my color choice.

It's a neutral color, goes with most fashion color-schemes. I have not used my multi-pocketed jackets nor

my fanny packs as often.

Lastly, I plan to make my first purchase of the Bandolier Sling...my current Sling was a gift to me.

Thanks, Bronx Bard.

Just purchased my second one of these for geocaching. Got the first one about a year ago, and still use it. It has just enough pockets to keep things like trackables, swag, pens, and an epi-pen all organized. Gave the old one to my husband, and ordered another. Can leave it on when riding in the car to the next cache. Has held up really well to being worn out in the woods and going through thorns and the like. We have the copper and now flamingo for visibility.

Yens® Fantasybag "Cross" Laptop Mono Strap Backpack-Black, 3BP-12

Yens® Fantasybag 'Cross' Laptop Mono Strap Backpack-Black, 3BP-12Ok,

first off, $15 is a rediculously low price for a backpack (go to walmart target etc and compare...) with that said, the build quality of the bag is less than ideal, but the minimalistic nature and usability for carrying a laptop/tablet/peripherals is absolutely perfect. It fits my 14" laptop just fine along with my tablet, wireless mouse, and all charger cables. It's a great on the go bag for such a low price I'm planning on buying 2-3 bags to have them on reserve (due to the 8-12 month lifespan of the bag with regular use).

This is a great $15 bag ... if you were expecting a high build quality for $15, you need to rethink before you write a bad review.

I had to sew one seam together already, but then the main compartment zipper head came off. It would be a fine bag if it was sturdier.

Liberty Bags Drawstring Backpack, Black, One Size. 8881Was recently traveling through Sweden and Denmark and I was very happy that I bought this to carry around instead of a purse. In fact, the other ladies on the trip wished that they had done the same! It was even sturdy enough to carry my netbook. More durable than I thought!

The only downfall is that the company only had light blue. However, with the price and quality of the product I'm happy regardless.

I love the bag! It's perfect for storing my son't bowling set! The bag arrived super fast and in great condition. I plan to buy more in the near future since they worked so well for my kid's toys!

Osprey Momentum 34-Litre Commuter Pack

Osprey Momentum 34-Litre Commuter PackIve travelled internationally for my job for over a decade and I've come to expect a lot from the bags I use. In my early days, I had entire packs come apart flinging my stuff everywhere. I decided a long time ago that the bag you trust all of your priceless personal items and expensive gadgets to should not be a cheap piece of junk.

I've used Osprey packs for years, yet they have never had a day pack/computer pack that worked for me, mostly because of their ultralight design approach. The Momentum 34 hits a new high. It has a nice stiff back that protects your laptop and props the bag up on its own without losing comfort. It has great organization and really shouldn't be confined to the bike commute. The two pockets on the shoulder straps are amazing, however, the key zip attachment needs a quick clip and not a O-ring.

My only gripe is that every decent pack needs at least one dedicated bottle/thermos pocket. The momentum has two side pockets at the bottom that are actually very nice for keeping a power brick, cliff bars, etc... i.e. items too for the main compartment of the bag, but too small for the pen/key pocket. When you open the side pockets there is a little mesh lining that keep the items from falling out yet handy at the same time. It's really a great idea. The problem is that these two side pockets are not large enough to keep a bottle/thermos mug. They will fit a can of soda or a 12 oz water bottle, but that's it and not conveniently at all. The thing that saves the Momentum for me is the rear "dump" pocket. It is high and narrow with a bit of stretch to it so a 16-20oz bottle slides in very nicely. It's just wide enough that I can slide my thermos mug in there too. This pocket is dedicated for a U-lock so I'm not sure what Osprey was thinking by not having a water bottle pocket; however, whether by accident or intent, the dump pocket is perfect for people that need to keep liquids at hand!

Honestly, if you want a pack that is well thought through buy from a company that is primarily a pack company like Osprey. NOT The North Face, or many others. Marmot makes great jackets, but horrible packs.

I've had this pack (S/M) for about a month and have used it daily for bicycle commuting and once for a weekend air-travel trip. I'm really happy with it. Finally a backpack that is made to use when riding a bike, that has a bunch of pockets, and that holds enough for a day at work, to the gym, to the shower, and back. There are a few changes that would make this pack perfect, but overall it's been worth my money.

Features:

I love the rain fly. It is bright yellow and comes out and on in about 10 seconds, and even has an attachment spot for a blinky. The lid lock works perfectly to snap my helmet (or a neck pillow)on the outside of my bag. The shoulder straps can be tucked into the bag and zipped away, and there are handles for carrying from the top or side of the pack. I've removed the detachable waist belt, but would put it back on for longer rides with heavier/bigger loads. The pack expands with a zip-around zipper, giving me enough room to easily fit a pair of running shoes when the bag had been too full to fit either before. The compression straps keep the load from being floppy (and were a must-have after my last pack). The sternum strap is adjustable and comfortable but I find I actually have to use it, which wasn't always the case with other packs. It may have something to due with my poly/nylon winter jacket, but the straps are slippery and don't seem to stay on unless I have fasten the sternum strap. This might be a good thing too, but I've never had a problem with chafing from shoulder straps on a bike(upper body doesn't move that much on a bike). The back panel is comfortable and does a great job at keeping any bulky or pointy items from jabbing me. In the winter, my outer layer is windproof and I always appreciate the added warmth of a pack, so I really have no comment on ventilation it allows.

Storage:

It holds more than I thought it would, I've packed running shoes, skirt, shirt, lightweight sweater, heels, along with a 14" laptop and a couple magazines, and was able to zip it up with no problem.

I love the compartmentalization. This pack has enough organization that I can fit all of my essentials (first aid, u-lock, snack bars, patch kit, mini-pump, micro-fiber rag, resistance bands, toiletries, chamois towel, wallet, makeup, pens, watch, jewelry, flip flops, etc.) without putting any of them in the main compartments. This is important both because I want to be able to access this stuff quickly, and also because I'm packing and unpacking daily with a change of clothes (or two).

The shoulder strap pockets (phone on the left (note: on S/M, it is not big enough for an iPhone, don't know about M/L) and keys (with a retractable key ring) on the right) are great, and don't get in the way at all for me.

I have to preface the next piece by saying that this is the best pack I've had for commuting. Osprey makes great packs. Having one of their other backpacking packs, I was thrilled to see their entry into the bike commuter market. That said, here's my biggest complaint about the Metropolis: The positing of the auxillary pockets could be better for everyday commuting use. When my pack is only lightly loaded, since I have the extra pockets full, most of the load is at the top of the pack. Even when it shouldn't be an issue, I still see the pack when I'm looking over my shoulder. (I'm on my bike, so this is important.) Whatever I put into the auxiliary pockets reduces the amount I can put into the main compartment. With the exception of the marsupial pouch and the shoulder strap pockets, the smaller storage pockets all expand into the main compartment instead of expanding outside the bag. So, when I have the auxiliary pockets filled (which I usually do), it means the main compartment isn't an approximate rectangle. I have to squeeze stuff into the bottom of bag where there is space the top is full with contents from the top pocket. I should say almost-the-bottom of the bag either side of the bottom of the bag is full with contents from the side pocket. What makes packing it especially annoying is the fact that the panel access (better than top load!) only unzips the top half of the bag. Getting a pair of dress slacks in without bunching them up is possible, but challenging.

If you want to carry a water bottle on the pack neither my nalgene or stainless steel bottles fit in the side pockets (28 oz range), and when I put a small 12 oz water it, it kept wanting to slide out. All of these bottles fit in the marsupial pouch. But of course, then they aren't accessible without removing the pack. I miss my old pack's mesh pocket. It held a water bottle or whatever else I stuffed in there a bandana, some candy, a pair of gloves. It was really nice to have one-handed access to a pocket on the fly. The size zip pockets have a little mesh webbing, but the webbing is loose so you still need to zip to keep anything from falling out.

There is a second compartment behind the main compartment that holds flat things, like a laptop. It has (what looks like) a waterproof zipper, and inside it has both a fastened pocket for a laptop and another inch or two deep pocket. I bet I could fit two laptops in it! Anyway, it works laptops and papers/books. I love that the laptop pocket is positioned toward the middle of the bag (instead of against the back). It gives the laptop a little more protection. Also the rain fly is in a pocket on the bottom of the pack, also offering a little protective padding down there.

Air travel:

Stuffed to the gills, it fit in the overhead bin (sideways). I had to take the neck pillow out from under the elastic helmet clip (lid lock) and had to pull my winter jacket out of the marsupial pouch, but that probably goes without saying. The fact that I could zip away the shoulder straps meant that I didn't dangle them in another passengers face as I put my bag up. (Sorry for not doing that the first time!)

Summary:

So, overall a great pack. Holds a ton, has awesome bike commuting features, has great compartmentalization, and feels secure and comfortable. I wish the main compartment were easier to load and unload, and that I didn't see it when I looked over my shoulder, but I don't think there is a better bag out there. (Note: immediately after buying this bag, I noticed that Osprey came out with a new cycling pack. Haven't fully investigated, but it may have some improvements over this one.)

This pack has all the bells and whistles you want in a pack. It has a pocket for everything located in the right place and you won't run out of room with it's capacity. My only gripe about this pack is the back panel. It's up against your back and doesn't allow any airflow between it, which means that your back will get sweaty quick. If the next iteration of this pack allowed some airflow or spaced padding to keep the back of the pack away from your back and allow airflow it would be a winner. I've returned the pack and will wait and see if Osprey will make that change. I bought both sizes when I considered purchasing the pack and at 5' 7.5" I decided to go with S/M. I felt the M/L was a little too big. Try both sizes if you can before deciding which size to purchase.

I had been looking for a really good backpack for our travelling and saw this one online; I read the reviews, explored Osprey's site, watched the youtube clips, then placed my order and then sat back nervously awaiting its arrival! Thanks to Amazon's seamless order/despatch system, I had the bag within ten days (to Australia; note, I had tried to track down this model in Australia at travel and luggage retailers, but to no avail).

This bag will be ideal for the long flights we Aussies do to get anywhere else in the world. All up there are five storage compartments (excluding the ingenious concealed pouch with the rain cover). For a stopover to Europe, via Singapore, for example, the traveller has space for computer (or ipad), swimming things (just love that swimming pool in Changi Airport that anyone can access for about $14), book, magazines, change of clothes, and even space for a duty-free item or two to give as gifts at the other side. you can also slip in the pyjamas you are given on the plane if lucky enough to go business class, as the bag expands to allow more room! Others have commented that there are no quickly accessible water bottle pouches. Well, there are two identical pouches on the bottom right and left hand side of the bag, and this is where I will place my two smallish 350mL water bottles. I actually like the fact the pockets are zippered here as I once lost a favourite water bottle on a flight. If you want quick access for a water bottle or hat, it is easy to place these things in the outside open U-lock pocket.

Much design effort has gone into the creation of the bag. For example, on the front straps there is a pocket either side, one designated for a mobile phone and the other for keys. So if someone rings you, you don't have to take off the backpack and ferret inside. Ditto with keys, when you arrive at the door of the Paris apartment you might be renting. Aso, the backpack straps conceal easily, so this can double as a small suitcase (and hence be checked into an airplane hold if you wish). It is simply a very clever, and substantial piece of travel equipment. I love the bike helmet hook too!!! No more dangling a helmet down the side of your body, or accidentally leaving it somewhere!

I am 5 foot 4 inches, or 164 cm and I bought the small/medium size pack. My husband is 6 foot and broad-shouldered and the bag fits either of us, with an easy adjustment of the straps. So I can see we'll be sharing this one quite often!

One small negative: all those features do add up in weight and the bag is over 1kg without anything inside. One is technically allowed 7kg luggage weight for cabin baggage, so pack carefully, or just pretend it is not heavy once filled up! Another small comment (not a negative), there are lots of straps so you do need to do your homework and read the accompanying instruction sheet (or look online on the Osprey site for the PDF) and find out what goes where and what does what. Altho not over-sized, unless you unzip the extension zips, this bag might be too big as a daypack when exploring a city while travelling away. Actually, it's right for two people so you can take turns to wear it, as we probably will, and we'll remember to pack a small slingbag inside for wallets, etc as one always need to leave backpacks at the check-in counter/cloakroom at museums and galleries.

It arrived two days ago, and I am packing it today (a Sunday) for a picnic at the beach. It needs some action!!! I would recommend it, and can't wait to use it regularly on holidays and weekends. I suspect we might end up ordering a second one for Husband.

Want Osprey Momentum 34-Litre Commuter Pack Discount?

I've been using the pack for about a year for my bike commute in Oregon, USA. The pack is an absolute life saver both for comfort and features.

The back of the pack is relatively stiff which may not sound like the most comfortable thing, but it keeps any stiff items in the bag from poking you (i.e. books laptop chargers, water bottles etc), provides a wide and balanced platform for your load, and allows for the natural contours in your back to act as channels to bring air between you and the pack keeping you cool and dry.

Speaking of dry, Oregon is a wet and rainy place and if you're commuting with a few hundred or a few thousand dollars worth of books, electronics, and other important papers staying dry is key. The fold away rain flap does a great job of this. It has its own pocket at the bottom of the bag and can fold out and cover the bag in a matter of 15-20 seconds (great if you get stuck in a flash downpour). The cover also has a bungee cinch that keeps it tight to the bag, keeping water out and keeping the cover from turning into a sail. I use the two small outer pockets to carry my rain pants and a light rain coat so I'm always prepared to do battle with nature.

Like every thing else on the bag, the straps are well thought out. The shoulder straps are well padded and help to balance the load. A nice feature of the shoulder straps is that they can be unclipped at the waste and tucked into the bag so if you ever want to check the pack you won't have to worry about the straps getting caught on something and damaged. There is also a chest strap and a waist belt to keep the bag secure on your body if you're trying to ride fast. A pair of straps at the top of the shoulder straps allow you to adjust how high the bag rides on your back and a pair of cinch straps on the cargo compartment let you compact the bag to fit what you're carrying.

Size wise I like the bag a lot. The 34L bag is big enough for several books, a computer, a sweater, and probably some lunch. There haven't been many times that I was unable to fit everything I needed for a work day into the bag and honestly the few times I have run into issues it was probably for the better. At a certain point putting too much stuff on your back and going on a bike ride is probably verging on dangerous.

Finally Osprey's customer service is amazing. The bag comes with a lifetime warranty and they will replace broken clips and zippers even if you're probably at fault. I broke (stepped on) one of the waist strap buckles, sent an email to customer support showing which one had broke and had a new one within a week. I like a company that knows that they have a quality product and is willing to stand behind it even if it does cost a bit more than the other products on the market. They stand behind the product, I stand with them. I can't imagine I'll need to replace it for quite some time, but when that time comes I will look to osprey again for another quality product.

Totoro Full Size School Backpack 16" Yellow Letters

Totoro Full Size School Backpack 16' Yellow Letters
  • Full Size School Backpack 16"
  • Adjustable Straps for a Personalized Fit, Padded Shoulder Strap make it comfortable to wear
  • Light weight ploy cotton canvas with Fabric material on the bottom part of backpack for extra comfort

The bag's huge, which is great, exactly as pictured. Also they sent it quickly. However, within one week of use the straps were almost completely torn off (and I don't carry a lot of books), and now both of the plastic adjusters for the straps have broken and I had to tie the straps together. Also a small hole is tearing in the bottom fabric. It's awful quality, and if I didn't love Totoro so much I'd for sure return it.

9162 Khaki Vintage Mini Star Backpack

9162 Khaki Vintage Mini Star BackpackI actually realized after I bought it that it was slightly larger than I'd needed (stupid me), but when it came time to return it, I just liked it too much! It's vintage, cute, and has just enough space for anything you want to carry from a waterbottle to books to a wallet to an iPod. It doesn't have a cell phone case, but I just put mine in the side pocket because I only have one water bottle on me at any time.

I was hoping to have this backpack like a big purse to hold all of my stuff.I was also hoping to carry some water and be my all day pack, so I could take it to an amusement park.

Pros;

#1 Has the perfect amount of pockets!

#2 TWO! Water bottle holders! Though they hard to put a bottle in the water bottle holders it is very tight!! I think if I hung this bag upside down they would

still hold!

#3 Stylish!

#4 Amazing amounts of complements on this backpack!

#5 Four pockets all together!

#6 Not very big, but not too small... Just right!

#7 Love the color! I can get it dirty and throw it into the wash and it will be just like new!

Cons;

#1 No little storage pockets inside

#2 Not thick like most backpacks not thin material like a tee shirt.

#3 Not a lot of padding on shoulder straps. :/

#4 Buckles on the sides do nothing except keep your bag from looking like a balloon if you fill it too much. I find that they get in the way though so I unclip them

lot to get into the pockets.

#5 Does not have a waterproof barrier that you like you find in lunch bags. So if something spills onto the bag it will leak through. :/

So I give this backpack a 4 Star review!

P.S. If you are thinking this as a gift for a teen I would highly advise this! I gave it to a 16 year old girl for her Birthday and she totally loved it!!

I've had this bag for a little under 2 years now. Other than the occasional string poping out from the inside of the bag, it's held itself together through many trips from place to place. I've used it for just about everything from laptops to medkits. All in all, I absolutly love this bag and would buy it again if the one I have ever gives out.

I purchased this for San Diego Comic Con. I needed a backpack but didn't want something too big that I would have to lug around with me all day. This backpack functioned just fine and is cool looking. My only complaint is that since it is made out of natural fabric, it soaks up sweat. I know that is kind of gross but San Diego in July is hot & humid and the back panel of this pack was soaked at the end of the day...

Wildkin Olive Kids Trains Planes & Trucks Sidekick Backpack

Wildkin Olive Kids Trains, Planes and Trucks Sidekick BackpackWe bought this for our son to start Kindergarten as it was one of the only backpacks we could find that had trains on it that wasn't Thomas. It is an adorable print and my son loves it. The only thing you can't really gather from the pictures is that it is a little small. It is definitely bigger than a toddler backpack, but it's not quite a full-size backpack.

My son picked out this bag to start kindergarten. I was not sure if it would be big enough yet I believe that it will be adequate. He has to bring a 1-1/2" binder daily and it is a little snug width wise because of the stiff binder but it will fit. I also like the additional front pocket for misc items. I would have given it 5 stars but another 1/2" to 1" width would have made all the difference. Fast delivery and excellent condition.

We had an adorable Skip Hop dog backpack which proved too small for a standard folder which they use at school for correspondence. I debated LL Bean or Pottery Barn kids but didn't love their designs. This is perfect. The pattern is fun and crisp with a great mix of trains and other vehicles.

The large pocket holds his folder (a bit tight) along with a large ziploc for his change of clothes and there's plenty of room left for a lunch bag or lovey. The front pocket holds diapers, wipes, and has room left. I don't use the small organizer pockets yet but expect it would be nice for small toys, sanitizer, etc. The overall size is just right for my 3.5 year old in that it's a little big so that he can grow into it. I hope to keep it at least thru Kindergarten.

I expect it will be great when we do sleepovers at Grammoms soon, too.

My son would like the design to have more trains / all trains / several train cars hooked together, but that's not the design. If they offered a train only design, that would have been our pick.

I need to carry a laptop to work every day now and my previous backpack felt heavy even with nothing in it, so I wanted a new one. This backpack is great -very slim even when tons of stuff is in it, and lots of pockets for pencils and whatnot. I like that it tends to stay up when you set it down, rather than falling over.

This backpack really gets the job done. It looks small from the outside, but you can really fit a lot inside. My only complain is the zippers I wish they were a little heftier and went in both directions (ie two zippers coming together).
